  1. I actually got a FREE bottle years back, I think 2007, right about the time I left California. I got it at a car show for free as a gift for a promotion they were doing. I still have the sealed bottle, and recently found it after forgetting about it since i got it... I was, and have been, skeptical about its' actual performance, hence the sealed bottle... lol Give it a try and let us know if it works and how it works. Or I can sell you the one I have, I can double check that it hasnt gone bad...?

I was on another forum for street bikes and saw a lot of raves about a coolant called Engine Ice. I am probably going to be getting some to run in my bike and sled. So my question is have any of you run this coolant in your SSS or any auto for that matter? Their website says it can be used in auto applications but it seems like they lean more toward high performance/racing motors. Its pretty pricey at $72 for 2 gallons but they claim a 50* temperature drop just by using this coolant. Edit/side note: They have a car on there running glass coolant pipes...looks badass with this blue coolant running through them...

  2. Now that you mention it, I did just replace me Red top with a NEW Yellow top battery. Maybe the BCM reset itself...? I'll give it a shot. Thanks man!

Alrighty, I have no idea what causes this but i will let you in on what happened to me. I switched out all of my exterior lights to leds. My cruise stopped working.... i spent probably 2 hours troubleshooting and gave up. banghead.gif Then i got a re-tune, installed the new computer and it worked again. I hypothesize that some kind of signal was crossed and when i disconnected the battery and something, maybe the bcm reset itself. So... i would try disconnecting your battery for a little bit and see if that helps. confused.gif

  3. I did my buddy's stock radio in red LED's, not hard at all. Just remove the screws and pop off the covers, then make sure that the cable connections from the face plate to the radio are removed before removing the face plate. Also, to make it easier to know what terminal is Positive, take voltage readings with the face plate connected and label them as you take the reading. You'll have to double check on the lenght of the LED & attached resistor cause its a tight fit in some cases.

Anyone done the radio and overhead consoleyet? How hard is it?

  4. What do the kits run? What did you get?, what did it come with? How much? Just wanted to get a bit more informed on the matter.

so last night I started my new Adams kit, started out with the shampoo damn that stuff smells amazing and cleans awesome. The clay bar... Just wow, my truck is pretty rough said the clay bar. The results were amazing. I only started the front end and I can feel a huge difference... My truck has never recieved this kind of treatment. Pix to follow later on once I get a little farther in the kit. Thanks Adam and dylan.

  5. PM sent

Got a couple of leftovers from my truck so i figured maybe somebody could use these. Everything is Best offer

Nice set of rear bumper brackets off an 04 SS i took the cladding from, these are the ones for the corners of the bumper, with nuts and bolts.

I also got a airbag switch, looks flawless. Got it with an SS dash badge and never used it cause i got an 07, so cant gaurantee if everything works, but i dont see why not. And the dash cubby hole where i put the SS dash badge. Also in very nice shape.

  6. Thanks man, you really helped me out! Looks like I know what I'm doing this weekend! As for the electronic flasher relay, that's great info! Should help out anyone out there who is looking at doing this! Even me if I ever need to replace the resistors.

you can use the stock location from the 99-02 trucks/suvs for the floor lighting , the brackets are still there , i did this and tapped into the wire so you can dim them and turn them on with the switch on the stock dash .

another thing you can do is get a dome light from a tahoe for the rear passenger overhead that has lamps with buttons so they can use them as well , this is plug n play with the addition of a constant 12v source . i did that as well as adding the homelink in my overhead console that needed a 12v source .

i did hyper white for my interior bulbs since you actually need them to see , the rest of my interior is blue led ( all the factory gauges/a/c cluster radio etc) im adding a touchscreen nav from an escalade with the 6 disc in the lower cubby in the bottom of the center console like the escalade has stock and it will all be wired as stock with the addition of the lux amp to get more bass from the bose system.

you can also not add resistors to some of the trucks and get a electronic flasher relay for the earlier trucks depending if you truck uses the lm487 flasher it looks like this

its located in the driverside knee area , near the ebrake and bcm , just turn on your hazards , unbolt your knee area lower dash cover and follow the relay click. that will determine what e-flasher you need , imo this is the right way to do it if you ever need to swap back its as simple as swapping bulbs.

  7. Yeah my Low/High and fog lights are all 10000K HID's. If you want a near perfect match go with 8000K HID's. My 10K HID's are a close match.

What are you using for headlight bulbs? Are they HID's ?

After doing the swithcback turn signals, I noticed a difference in color between the stock headlight and the new marker lights and would like to match them up.

    Thx

  8. you should use an exacto knife to cut the OEM film out, and have it to where it is just the blue gel sheet . Worked for me.

FWI, I put dark blue gel sheets in mine and I have to take them out, too dark, I can't see the displays in the daytime.

Don't use one really dark like i did.

  9. Read reply #11 above, I answered that same question. If your unclear or have questions about the items or sellers feel free to ask.

Looks Good, I have the same color interior lights. I only have one right now but thinking about adding a second one

I had some Blue LEDs in my reverse lights too, they looks awesome but they were not bright enouph and it was hard to see backing up. Those are really bright though

Where did you get those LEDs?
