The wife and I went for a drive last night to the little Bavarian themed tourist town of Leavenworth, Wa. While driving around in the surrounding area I saw a Red SSS. He was turning onto the road I was turning off of and he stopped and we briefly chatted until traffic made us move. He and his wife looked to be in the late 40's. Their SS looked to be stock. Didn't get a chance to tell them about the site or if they knew about it or not, so maybe they are members already.

I just got done ordering one, I'll see how it works.

I've had a PCMFORLESS tune since March of 05, and have not had any codes at all.

Yes it is the 60". If I remember correctly the instructions said to drill 4 mounting holes, but I only drilled 2. I think if you were creative you could come up with a mounting bracket that would attach to the ends of the box and connect to the bottom of the bed rails by the stake pockets.

I had this one in my SS for awhile until the powdercoating started flaking off. I took it back and received a refund and haven't bought another one yet. (used the refund for a PCMFORLESS tune ) I sure miss the convience of having a place to lock things up rather than in the cab.

thanks for the info on calichevyv8 having a system for sale, but it is a side exit and i'am looking for the dual back system that will exit out the rear <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yea, side exits aren't for me either. I had a custom exhaust made using the Flo-Pro 2504 and dual out the rear, guess I'm old school! My Duals Out The Rear

Josh / Zane, If I may I make a suggestion? Would it be possible to make up a gallery for the Zippy 2 Event and any other "sanctioned" SilveradoSS.com events, and then have everyone send you their pictures? I think it would make it easier for all to view, and also the pictures would remain on your servers and not be dependant on individual photobucket, cardomain, picturetrail, etc, accounts which come and go and pictures get removed. I know it is frustrating to be looking back at old threads (and we do stress the use of the search button) and someone is talking about a picture that is no longer there because whoever posted the picture removed it from its original location. I would hate to see us lose some of the pictures as users sell their SSS’s and move on and delete their pictures. After all, these sanctioned events are part of our history! Just a thought! If it was me, I'd take it to a respected glass shop, they have WAY MORE experience than the dealers do, and when I take something in for a repair, I want it done right the first time.

Hmmm, they look familiar! (except for the brand!) Looks good! I stayed with 20's, and when I get up the nerve, I'm going to drop the back 2" to set it level. I was going to get the Cragar's but when I was ready to buy I was told they were on backorder or something like that, so I went with the American Racing.
