  1. Love the hell out of them. Nice throatey sound.
  2. I have the same thing going on with mine. Also seems like it coming from the drivers side. It feels like to a the point that the wheel wants to come off. Have to get on the brakes to stop the "wobble". I noticed that I didn't have enough air pressure in my tires so when I added the air to the tires it made it worse. Maybe when the tire had less pressure there was more contact to the ground making it hard to throw it into a shake. Also when going across a bridge bump. If the bump is straight it doesn't do it, but if the bump is at an angle where the tires don't hit at the same time she will let loose. I don't know just yet because I'm am going to be doing new tires and an alighnment but if I find out what was causing it I will let you know. Please do the same. It could be ball joints, pitman arm, maybe steering box. IDK.
  3. There the flowmonster single chamber racing muffler. Also using the flowmonster metallic high flow cats and X-pipe.
  4. It really does it when I get into the gas from a dead stop then she wants to let loose. It feels like I have oval tires. It can be so bad sometimes that the on coming trafic is like what the hell does he have hydraulics on that truck. LOL.
  5. Any of you guys ever experience the "Death Roll". Where you steering goes into a violent shake. I have a 3" drop using 2" McGauleys spindles and 1" keys. I have looked under the frontend but really don't see anything that sticks out at me. I did notice the CV joints are angled up and not lined up with the wheels but of coarse that's to be expected with a 3" drop. I am going to have it alighned and new tires put on it but it did this before I dropped it another 1". Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I know I'm getting tired of this crap. Any suggestions would be great.
  6. I may be doing the exhaust change over this weekend (headers, high flows and may change mufflers or keep the ones I have). I purchased pre bent mandrel pipes for this project. Also I'm changing the tips to the Gibson tips. I will try to get you some pics.
  7. If you like the Corsa tips have you looked at the Hydroform tip. There nice but about 180.00 a piece. I have these now but will be changing them out shortly.

  9. I looked up the reviews on the Hankook ST RHO6 Tires and it gets great ratings. I may go with these myself instead off the Kumho Ecsta STX Tires. Ratings on them are not that great.
  10. How long or how many miles do you have on them. Are they noisey?
  11. Needing to get a set of new tire. Is anyone running these tire? If so, do you like them. Read reviews about the noise. What's your thoughts on these.
  12. If your still wanting to run high flow cats then try these. I run there mufflers and will be adding there cats to my system. Having the whole exhaust system redone including headers. There are some more guys on here running the flowmonster mufflers and love them. Give um a shout.
  13. Don't waste your time and money on the blowmaster. Unless your just wanting the sound. That muffler will put a choke hold on your performance. Trust me!!!
  14. Today was a beautiful day so decided to give her a little love. Also installed a set of the Bell Tech drop keys to get the front down a tad bit more. When I installed the keys I decided to drill some holes in the A-Arm bump stops, well good thing that I decided to do this because when I install the McGaughleys drop spindles I must of forgot to cut off the first nub of the bump stop. It rides so much better.
  15. You guys that have the LT Pacesetter headers. Will the stock factory plug wires work with the pacesetters or do I need to get different plug wires. If so which ones do I need to get for this installation? Thanks guys.
  16. Will do. I love the flowmonsters for there sound and performance. He's also doing T-shirts with the flowmonster logo with our trucks in it. We got to talking about some ideas that would look good. His logo is a green T-REX. Trying to figure out away to incorporate the T-Rex into the SS pickup. I told him to stick him in the bed of the truck holding on with dear life and fire coming out of his nostrils. He has a photo of my truck so the guy that does the graphics has something to sketch from. Also I told him about the different colors our truck came in. So if any one has any thoughts that would look good lets hear them. Here is the T-Rex photo.
  17. Well I finally purchased a set of pacesetter ceramic coated headers from Texas Speed. The guy that owns flomonster muffler wants to try out a few of his new mufflers on my truck. He wants to get video clips of each. That means he wil be cutting off my exhaust to do this, but he is willing to do a whole exhaust in return for using my truck. So he's going to get the mandrel bent pipe kit with the 90s and 45 bends etc and hand make the intermidate pipes and X pipe and new tips exiting out in front of back wheel. May keep the mufflers I have but have the option on whichever muffler I like. The sound will definately change with the high flow cats and the headers. Got to pm Wheatley so he can do a retune for the new exhaust and the efans I have setting around. I'll try and get some photos and video clips of the sounds and install.
  18. Look at your tailgate hidges. They may have slipped from the original spot location. If they did you should be able to tell because it will have a clean spot showing where the were located from the factory. Just take your tailgate off and look at it.
  19. Seen this on ebay. Looks very clean and well kept. Price seems resonable. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-Silverado-1500-SS-Silverado-06-Chevrolet-Silverado-SS-Intimidator-Dale-Earnhardt-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem45f93c4c48QQitemZ300534221896QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks
  20. I don't know about getting any fans but I sure could use one of those fancy wiring harnesses you build . Hint Hint. LOL
  21. If you are using a clear in a can, try this clear. http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd_2_part_2k_aerosol.cfm I love this stuff. Want yellow over time. It's high but worth it if your not using a spray gun. This is a 2 part clear, so when the 2 parts get mixed you have 24hrs before you have to throw it away.
