I totally agree. I didn't want to sound like a A-hole but I want put one on a SS. I used to run them on some other vehicles a long time ago and sounded good to me but when I cut the stock exhaust off my SS and stuck the flowmaster on it I knew I just screwed up. It was very different when I pulled out of the parking lot. Don't know much about the VHO but for a SS heck no.

After my experience with flowmasters I wouldn't put them on my lawnmower. JMO Do what you like.

Love the Q logic form kick panels. I have a set in my truck. Great qualtiy kickpanels. They really bring out the front sound qaulity. Are you going to install deadening material in the roof. I had to cover the whole roof of my truck. The roof metal is so thin it will make a hell of a noise when those 12's hit. LOL When I had the windows up I couldn't tell it, but I noticed when I would let the windows down I could hear something that just wasn't right. Sounded like some one was waving (popping) a thin sheet of metal. Took me a few weeks to figure out what was going on because it would only do it with certain songs. Then it hit me. Rolled the windows down, cranked up the music, got out and looked across the roof and it looked like waves of an ocean. Bingo. Took care off that really quick.

The quality is great. You will have to pre-fit the roll pan. Mainly around the back corners that meet up with the cladding. There is a little extra on the sides of the roll pan and that's because all trucks are not the same width at the rear. So they give you a tiny bit extra to mold into your body cladding. Great quality pan IMO.

I think I still have the relocator frame but not the filler plate if you interested in one.I took it back out and made my own frame fort the solenoids. I used the filler plate on my tailgate. Nothing but a curved oval piece of sheet metal that a body man could make for you. If you want it I will look and see if I still have it. I had it powder coated black. Make me an offer. Chris

Well I have a flush fit hard cover so it's easier for me to drop the gate and then lift the cover. If there were a problem were the gate didn't open I can still lift the cover. Have to get my fingers under the lip of cover. I have the intimidator ss wing and didn't want to pry my fingers under the cover everytime I wanted to lift it and risk leaving scratch marks on the wing.

Yeah someone stuck those on there. They probably thought it would give them an extra 20 hp.

Your truck looks like a SS. Maybe someone stuck that emblem on there. Yout tailgat wil have SS with the silverado sticker below it. Driver and pass will just have the SS emblem. I looked at the photos of the driver and pass and it doesn't look to have this other emblem You have 2 photos of the extra emblem. The first photo look like the tailgate emblem. Where did you take the picture of the 2nd photo. Truck came stock with driver,passanger and tailgate emblems and the tailgate had a silverado sticker under the emblem

I talkng about reaching under the tailgate lip. The opening between your tailgate and bumper or roll pan which ever you have.

Switch is mounted in the bottom center of gate. Behind the trim piece on gate.

Don't know about yours not really sure what your Vmax has in it, but I can tell you right off hand that I will never put a flowmaster on my truck again. Noticed I said again. I had one installed on the truck and I could tell as soon as I drove off the lot something wasn't right. Hardheaded me, I had read on this site when I purchased the truck not to do it. It will be like putting a choke collar on a dog. I cut it off sold it and never looked back.

Correct not a popper. There are 2 rods in your tailgate. 1 solenoid per rod. I do not have a video. I installed a HEAVY DUTY switch. These sol will pull quite a few amps. The power for the switch comes from the batt wire located at the rear end of the truck. Let's just say a 15 amp hold fuse would not hold the amperage. My mufflers are actually the round tube type. I have 2 mufflers on my truck. They do have them in the round tube type if thats what you want. Give Marty Jr a call and see what he has. He will make you good deal. I love mine and get alot of compliments on the sound and they will let that 6.0 breath better. I forgot what the CFM's were on these mufflers but it was almost triple of what a flowmaster could put out. Want to say it was over 1000 cfm's. Give him a call and see if he can hook you up. He can get you Magnaflow if thats what your stuck on but you want be disappointed in the flowmonsters. Hell flowmosters are magnaflows but without the magnaflow name and price.
