  1. Looks good Carl. Nice job. So what other things are you going to be painting.
  2. Finally I'm done. The hood I purchased wasn't very happy with the plastic insert that came with it, so changed it up to my liking. Shaved the tailgate handle and installed 2 - 60lbs solenoids to open gate and installed the ISS wing. Here are some before and after pictures. Hope you like. Before After Before After And a picture of the tailgate opener
  3. Thanks dcairns. I put the 30 amp fuse in it and it works. Thanks for the help.

  5. Yes. I don't have a fuse here just a red plastic dummy fuse. So I need to put a 40amp fuse in this spot and it should work. I wonder why gm didn't install this at the factory. Did your truck come with?
  6. I did some seaching on the web and found a forum site talking about not having any power on the red 12v constant wire. They said there is a dummy fuse in the fuse box under the hood which is red and is the post 1 terminal. They installed a fuse in it and it works. I did notice this red plastic dummy fuse in mine. I wondering if this is why mine doesn't work. stud 1 says STUD #1 Auxiliary Power (Single Battery and Diesels Only)/ Dual Battery (TP2) Do not install fuse So I don't have a diesel so that's why I just moved on to checking other things.
  7. Does anyone know if the main power (hot all the time) on the trailer pluge works on your truck. I need to get constant 12v so I can power the pop solenoids on my tailgate. I got to checking it and its the red wire in the plug that is suppose to be hot at all times but its not. Checked my schematic and its hot at the 30 amp fuse (post 2) but not at the trailer plug. I did take the cover off of the relay block IP (under the dash left of steering wheel) and notice I didn't have a (trailer 6 way) breaker or fuse or whatever is supposed to be plugged in there, empty. Do I need this part plugged in there to make the main hot wire work? I figured this is probably the problem but wanted to ask if someone has ever had to use this for like trailer brakes or whatever. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Guys.
  8. There are knock offs of the flowmaster, Marty that sells the flowmonster also sells the flowmaster and these flowmaster look alikes. Knock off or the real thing I still wouldn't put them on my truck, they're nothing but a choke collar on your truck. I would get my money back and install the flowmonster exhaust. Sounds great and you will not lose any performance. When I went from a flowmaster to a flowmonster muffler I could tell a very big difference in performance. Ditch the flowmaster and the look a likes. The flowasters were rated as one of the worst cfm flowing exhaust muffler made.
  9. Do a search on front diff. Your not the first to have this problem.

    Ram Air Hood

Well. I'm finally taking the hood and tailgate tomorrow afternoon to get painted up a perty Black. This will give me time to get my solenoids in for the tailgate. Ordered two 60lbs solenoids to pop the tailgate. I'm having to do this because I flipped the tailgate handle and added the ISS wing. My bedcover is a flush fit and it's hard to get my fingers under to raise the bedcover and then open the tailgate. If I don't do this then I'm affraid I will be scratching the wing when I'm digging my fingers under the cover. So I'm installing solenoids to open the tailgate and then raise the bedcover. I have installed a small switch behind the bottom of the tailgate lip (where the body cladding is on the tailgate). I'l will keep ya'll posted.
  11. Welcome to the site. I see you don't scare easily. You must have a great personality. Welcome aboard. So is this the 3rd female member on this site or is their more. I think I'm right on this.
  12. Yeah I noticed that. Must be starting to run low on the wings since they are scarce.
  13. Check with Zach on his post of the muffler. He's more than pleased.
  14. Your correct. I talked to Marty and one of his buyers bought everyone he had. You will still get the discount that's a promise. Thanks
  15. Sounds great and your very welcome. I will let Marty know you had the first video. What name did you use to purchase the muffler and did you use paypal, credit etc so he can refund your money. Thanks again. Chris

    Ram Air Hood

I thought I would share this with ya'll. Flipped the handle on the tailgate and filled in the handle hole. Primed up and ready for the ISS wing. Should be in tomorrow. I'll get it installed on the tailgate tomorrow hopefully and maybe just maybe my painter can do it this week. . Turned out great. This is actually my 2nd time to do any body work, the first was the hood. Getting pretty good at this stuff and I kinda like it. Now if I could only paint. Here are some snap shots of the tailgate.
  18. They are the same, except for the name and cheaper in price.
  19. I second that!! I could tell a big difference in performance. When I had the flowmaster installed I could tell as soon as I pulled off the parking lot that something just wasn't right. Chopped that piece of crap off and installed his flowmonsters. Now I'm back in business. Kev. That muffler will get a little louder as you run it, then it will level out. Glad you like it. Now. Where in the hell is the video.
  20. Don't shoot the messenger. Just wanted everyone to know. Marty had one of his buyers call up and purchased everyone of his dual in/out mufflers, but will have some back in towards the end of March. He said you will still get your discounts being a SS member.
  21. You could buy the Magna/Flowmonster, nice sound, no drone, more performance and cheaper than the Magnaflow. 65.00 free shipping for us SS customers. Dual in/out. Marty told me today that one of his buyers called up and bought all of the dual in/outs mufflers. He said he would get more in towards the end of March if any of you are still interested. Kevinthegreat is very satisfied with his muffler. Check it out. I know money is tight these days so every dollar counts.
  22. The Titan had stock cats, headers etc. I bet yours sounds alot different. It would have to. Have any luck with the video loading.
