Smaller and lighter is the best. If you don't need the heavy ones don't use them. You want to keep the valve train as light as possible. I belive the factory rockers are ok up to .600+ lift. So if you upgrade them with the bearing kit they should last. Just get the chrome alloy push rods. The guys over at LS1 tech run crazy setups so..... go over there and poke their brians they'll have the answers for ya.

Holy crap!!!!! but...... it was 0deg f here the other night.

So.... I applied at a couple of places and went over to my machine shop to tell them whats going on. Of course my new pistons came in! So I paid for the pistons and told him I had to set the project on hold for now. He says to me no problem thanks for the heads up. He said that they will balance the engine and assemble the short block and wait for the cylinder heads. I can pay him whenever I have extra cash!!! I am happy he is working with me. I still need a daily driver cause I had a company truck. So I might put a used 6.0 in until I get back to work. I have a couple of high mile 6.0's so.... At least I wont have to drive my gf to work so I have a ride.

Well.... I filed for unemployment and I was out pounding the pavement. Not to much out there so it could be a long winter. But I do have 3 motor jobs in the garage

I was wondering if it is ok to block the 3rd gear accumlator. Anyone do this on there tranny builds

I'm useing NX 1 piece MAF system PN: 20110-00 no problems at all I added a NX purge and NX bottle heater. I have sprayed a 150 shot but bottle pressure was low. 3 bottles so far.NX link

There is a couple of ways to check for draws. One is to dissconect the positive cable and connect a test light in between the positive terminal and the hot cable. if it lights up or glows dim then start pulling fuses to see what circut is drawing current. You can also use a amp meter for this also.
