Wheatley is the man for the job, He tuned my SS a while back & really woke it up, it was like a whole different beast, I just had him do my reg-cab, & will ALWAYS use Wheatley,he takes care of his customers.

as for the airbag,,,I meant any trick to removing from my steering wheel & installing on new one ? Don't want it to deploy because I do something wrong switching it to the other wheel,,

ok I'm missing one part to complete my console,,,not sure what it's called but I looked up the console on GM parts direct and it's # 11 on the picture,,It's the piece that the cupholder tray is surrounded by, it fits between the armrest/lid, and the cigerette lighter part, I checked the local salvage yards but no luck, just figured someone may have one lying around, if ya got it pm me a price shipped to 63845 MO, or I'd swap these Q-logic kick pannel enclosers if interested " sorry I hi-jacked the console pick from another post:) " Kick Pannels : SOLD

just wanting to add the better looking wheel with controls and have a few questions??? first I assume I can replace my plain 04 wheel with the one with controls? I have the oem 6-disc radio, once installed , will the controls work the radio? and what about removing the horn/airbag? any special trick to removing and replacing? Don't need an airbag to the face,lol

yea I guess I'm just gonna pick up a little cheap amp and see how it turns out, I figure any little amp would be more than enough,,not sure about what ohm's the little sub requires, I guess I'll see how it turns out, I was about to order this cheap set-up from Crutchfield,since I wanna keep my factory 6-disc I want an amp with speaker level inputs, http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113PW1000/Ken...ack.html?tp=442 untill I took a closer look at the Bose sub and figured I give it a shot,,,like I said I've had the slammin systems in the past but I've always been just as content with the sound of a good factory, but If this doesn't work I guess I'll go with the Kenwood for $200 bucks

ok I got the SS center console, I'm putting it in my Reg-cab,,,I've been told even though I have the factory 6-disc changer, It would be a nightmare to hook up the Bose amp & sub,,,So my question is this: Could I run a small amp directly too the Bose sub??? I took it out and was amazed at how HUGE the magnet was on this tiny sub,,,Anyway I don't really need a system with huge bass,,,The Bose I had in my SS was just right,,So I'm wandering can I just run a small amp to the factory Bose sub??? I looked at the wires and either this sub has dual voice coil,,,or the other wires are just a way of passing the signal on to other speakers? It has 4 wires on it,,,,one side is a RED-wire & GREEN-wire,,,,the other side has 2-white wires, one with a RED-stripe,,,one with a GREEN-stripe,,,,,Anyone know what each of these these wires are???

clean ride, I always liked that color,,by the way the wheels look in the 4th pic ya better get to an alignment shop real soon, my buddys crew cab looked that way after he cranked on the torsion bars,,,he chewed his tires up in less than a month

I'm in bad need of new shocks for my 04 RC, it's got -2 drop spindles, & -3 hangers,,,truck bounces WAY too much,,,are there any shocks out there cheaper than Belltechs performance shocks ??? I know you get what ya pay for but I could think of a few things I'd rather spend $300 on instead of shocks,lol

I feel like I'm in Cali, 70 degee temps in November, a guy could get used to this,lol

yea sounds like more trouble than it's worth, The 6 disc wasn't with a Bose system, came from my 05 Colorado Xtreme, I just like the cleaner factory look & I'm getting the console from a local salvage yard & I was hoping it was just plug and play to get the Amp & sub working,,Oh well Thanks for the info!

So I kept my 6-disc factory from my 05 Colorado Xtreme, (gonna have dealer program my vin) I'm gonna buy the Consol & glovebox trim,, with Bose amp & sub. How does this wire into the head unit? will I need to get the harness from them as well?

I couldn't tell ya I never had them installed, I will install and try to get pics with e-brake down if someone really wants them,,

what size tires & drop you got? looks sweet

yep,,It bottoms out with a good bump but so did my SS, I just eventualy did a partial C-notch and solved that issue, but the springing up and down motion in this suspension is nothing like the ride my SS had,,I'm gonna try shocks first and see if that stops it, Thanks

just bought the truck, it's got -2" drop spindles & -3" shakle & hangers, Also has front & rear belltech sway bars,,belltech shocks (the black & red ones),,This thing bounces like an old hoopty with blown shock but these belltech's are not that old,,Also previous owner put front and rear beltech swaybars,,could that have anything to do with it
