  2. Bienvenidos... post some photos of your truck when you can
  3. Okay thanks...that is always the first place I check... I was just wondering if someone had a hook up on one... thanks alot.. i'll post pics when we finish it.
  4. LMAO... maybe now they will be smart and restore a CHEVY instead... it'll never be Found On Road Dead... lol j/k that could have been one pimped out Fiesta
  5. At work it's the maro and at home its my truck
  6. In a few weeks I am going to shave my tailgate handle and repaint the tailgate. I was just wondering if anybody has or knows a good place to get a tailgate handle relocation kit for a good price. I appreciate the help.
  7. 23.... Army trained biomedical engineer working on the civilian side of things right now
  8. That's just the rim itself or mounted on a tire? EDIT: nevermind i just read this in your mods "Motoforge 22x 10 forged wheels(29lbs without tire) custom chromed then powdercoated black spokes. toyo proxes 305/40/22 tires." Did you have to get a positive offset on those to allow for the lowering??
  9. wow I was thinking I wanted a rim that weighed more like in the upper 20's because I think my 3 piece 22's weigh around 40 lbs. Are you aware of any rim that is advertised as weighing in the upper 20's or lower 30's?
  10. A guy at Les Schwab is supposed to be finding out the weight of some rims for me. He said he would contact the manufacturer directly because it seems that is the only way to find out the full specs. I'm not even sure what lightweight 22's should weigh. If anybody could chime in on that, maybe my search would be easier, because as of now, I really have nothing to base my decision on.
  11. Nice man ... those wheels are bada$$... i need to get me somethin' like that because gas is ridiculous... props on a nice DD
  12. Welcome... great choice of truck ... how much you pick it up for?
  13. thanks for the advice guys... i removed all of the sticky residue that i could see and it is a little better, but i definitely think the window is off the track because it still doesn't work completely right... I was busy painting my rim's center caps this weekend (i'll post some pics soon), so i'll check the window out next weekend..
  14. i had the same problem, so now ive got side exiting exhaust with one pipe going through the muffler and one straight pipe with an electronic cutout. You could try that too and just make sure the cutout is fully closed when you start it up in the morning and open it as you leave. However, I agree nothing can ever be TOO loud, but i guess people don't like being awaken by the rumble of a badass truck's exhaust.
  15. Its not something I can do myself if I take the door panel off?
  16. When I was living in Dallas, TX my truck was shot up and now I am having problems with my driver's side window. After returning to Cali, cops made me take the tint off and it left a sticky residue. I used a razor a removed most of it, but when it is in the fully up position and I try to put it down it slowly creeps down and then falls. Is the window supposed to be screwed into a track of some sort or do ya'll think there is still some residue making it stick? Also when I'm driving with the window in the fully down position and I go over a bump in the road I can hear the window bounce around. One of the bullets penetrated my driver door so I'm thinking the repair shop didn't put everything back together right. If anyone has any useful info or a how-to, I'd greatly appreciate it.
  17. mine was a pewter '94 Toyota Camry 2 door which was a hand-me-down from my parents. I gave that to my sister when she got her license and then I drove another hand-me-down which was a '94 F150 long bed (aka The Silver Boat)... the first vehicle I bought was my Silverado after returning from the Army... I plan to keep in the family FOREVER!!!
  18. where are you located and what is reason for selling? How many miles?
  19. You will definitely be happy with any model Procharger... I have the P1SC and I know a guy who has a D1SC on a 2000 camaro SS, and a guy with an F1R on a 69 SS chevelle. We all love our superchargers and they have been performing great for years. I'm with fast4popper in that i'm not out to have the fastest truck; just one that looks clean and runs efficiently. The D1SC will definitely wake up your SSS so I would highly recommend it. Good luck on your decision and I can't wait to see how it all turns out.
  20. truck is lookin' sweet man... is your truck sponsored?? I can't read the decal on the side what does it say???
  21. welcome man... an '03 with only 15k... wow that's unheard of... congrats on getting a truck that is nicely broken in for you and will make you very happy as you begin modding Got any pics?
  22. So i talked to that guy I told you about that has the black wheels and blacked out front end on his RCSB... he said he just had the SSS wheels powdercoated black (there is a shop in Fremont off Automall that he says will do it for $45 a wheel) and he just used a rattle can on the front end, but i'd say use a real spray gun... i've got a friend that lives down here in Fremont who has helped me out with paint and will probably do it for cheap... let me know if you're interested and i'll get a price from him.. he has a compressor and badass spray gun so it'll come out lookin nice ... i'll be over there repainting my hood in the near future so you're more than welcome to come hang out ...
  23. Watchya comin' down this way for?? Let me know if you ever want to meet up.. there's a guy in my apartment complex that has a lifted 2005 and then another guy that has 2004 RCSB i think.. he is going the all blacked out look and he either powdercoated or just rattle canned his rims and they look decent.. i'll try to talk to him and let you know how he went about it... let me know if you'd be interested in my 22's as they are powdercoated black with a chrome lip... hopefully i'll see ya around.. take care
  24. Hey man I saw you're out in Dublin... i stay in Fremont and my lady works at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Dublin... nice to see a fellow Bayarean ... but anyway I'd say your truck would look real nice if you went with a black on charcoal theme... sand down that chrome cross member and paint it gloss black and paint the bowtie charcoal grey... you could either have your stock bumper painted or i think the street scene ss bumper would look nice painted charcoal grey with the brake ducts and grill painted black... you could possibly just paint the stock grille black also.... a charcoal grey cowl hood with black racing stripes would definitely make the front "mean" looking along with an antenna delete... some street scene cal-vu side mirrors painted charcoal grey would look more sport truckish... definitely remove that plastic molding on the side... charcoal grey door buckets with gloss black handles... i'd say tint your tail lights and third brake light, but i've had some trouble with cops for that... charcoal grey roll pan.. you could get a tonneau cover and continue the racing stripes down that and onto the tailgate with the tailgate handle relocated to the inside... debadge if you havent already.. I have an extra LED light bar if you've been thinkin about one of those and i'm not sure if your in the market for rims but i'm trying to get rid of mine... they could be powder coated completely black and would look real nice... sorry this reply is so long, but these trucks have so much potential and I would really like to see more of them tricked out so we can have big meets here in the BAY... good luck!!!!
