I just wanted to thank Time2kill and 04badss for their business ... I looked up the tracking number for the tailgate cladding I ordered from Time2kill and it says it is at home waiting for me ... Time2kill was great to deal with and very prompt with his delivery... I also received a call yesterday from my dad and he said the ss bumper I ordered from 04badss is their awaiting installation... Frankie (aka 04badss) is a real stand up guy and it was a pleasure doing business with him... we both are very happy now as I have the front bumper I wanted and he has the money to trick out his front end like he wants.. thanks alot guys and I'll post new pics once everything is installed and shined up

Hey everyone... I should be receiving my black SS bumper cover from 04badss this weekend, so I figured I'd put my current Keystone front bumper on here for sale. I am selling it so cheap and will take any reasonable offer because it will need some body work to correct some imperfections. I'd say it would need to be sanded completely down and have a few cracks filled with fiberglass resin and smoothed. After I first put it on I bottomed out on the highway and it cracked in a few places so if anyone is interested you'd want to have stiffer shocks than stock... Also it has some rock damage, but that can be corrected easily... Even if a shop fixed it I don't think they would charge too much... I could get an estimate from a shop if anyone shows interest... shoot me a PM if you or someone you know wants it or even to tell me I'm crazy and to throw it in the trash

I'm not sure if you have a Joanne's out there, but it is an arts and crafts store and that is where I got my suede... if you do have Joanne's, wait for them to have a sale because I got the real stuff for 10 bucks a yard during one of their sales.

Congratulations on a very nice choice of truck... Post some pics so we can see what your starting point is and witness how she changes when the mod bug bites you... as for the hitch I'm sure someone on here will put a roll pan on their truck and have a hitch to sell you for cheap... again, congrats and welcome.

well since my truck will be paid off in a few months... i am in the market for a 4 banger... i'm looking at the mazda3, but i'm not settled on it yet especially if I can find a used cheap car... other than that I just try and turn things off when they don't absolutely need to be on, run to the gym instead of drive, and hunt for bargains.

LOL... yeah i'm sure because it looked just like this font SSL except the L was attached to the second S and he put it in the location that the real SS badges go except they were about 5 inches tall... i am very sure it was a poser, but i'm just wondering what he could possibly mean with the L... i am not against clones but if you haven't gone all out with the 6.0 and the cladding to the interior, then don't put the SS badges on yet... and definitely don't just use some cheap internet decals... all i can think of is SuperSportLimitededition... I don't know it just confused me because I know my truck isn't an SS and it never will be even if I build a bad ass motor, so it will never have SS badges on it

Can anyone tell me what the hell a Silverado SSL is??? On our way back from soCal, we drove past a blue rcsb silverado that had SSL decals on it... the SS font wasn't even the right font... if I was in my truck I would have raced him, but because of gas prices we were forced to drive my lady's Toyota Yaris... To me it just appeared to have a drop kit and exhaust, so I am confused as to what SSL means... anybody know??

I was down in orange county for the three day weekend and at the dog beach we saw two gorgeous alaskan malamutes... I love huskies too, but I originally wanted a malamute, but I couldn't pass on a beautiful FREE husky like Kaya... plus those malamutes were around 90 lbs. and resembled bears, so we'd definitely have to have a way bigger place for a dog like that... i sure hope you are blessed with the opportunity to own a husky because they are very loyal and loving... Kaya is a great dog

I finally was able to accept a new cat after losing my most favorite cat named SAV due to cancer... luckily enough my neighbor had one that is the exact same color as SAV was except with blue eyes. Here's Chevy as we try to coax him out of his pet taxi, moving a little more toward the front, exploring the house, discovering our 3 year old Siberian Husky named Kaya, showing Kaya her new brother and making sure she doesn't see him as food, Chevy thinking he is a dog too and wanting to drink out of the dog bowl, and chillin' on our bed. Hope you all enjoy!!

Definitely tune it now... you won't regret it... I'm out here in the BAY (Hayward area), so if you're ever down this way or have a get together with some other SSS's, let me know ... I've only seen a few down here and I don't think they are on this site. Nice lookin' truck!!

I just have this pic of my exhaust... i can get more showing the actual piping under the truck if you need... any way its dual tips exiting in front of the rear passenger tire... one pipe goes through a Flowmaster Super 44 and one has no muffler and an electric cutout from QTP.... My truck is only a supercharged 4.8 for the time being and sounds great so I'm sure you SSS will sound real nice with a setup like this... when the other guys crawl out of bed, you'll see side exiting systems with different style tips... good luck

Make sure to post some pics when you get this done cuz i'm anxious to see what it will look like... just yesterday I painted my AVS light covers all black and it looks 100% better in my opinion... I just have them on the headlights during the day and I remove them at night... my lady is always saying, "your always wasting time taking off and putting on your stupid light covers" lol... I can only imagine what she'd say if I was actually changing the whole headlight... I am planning to paint the actual bumper lights instead of using the AVS covers... I'm trying to decide on a way to tape off a section so I still have a functioning blinker.... good luck and I can't wait to see it

I called my dealer today and asked if I could purchase the front door speaker grilles since I cut mine up experimenting... the guy told me that there is no part number for them and that I would have to buy a whole new inner door... does anybody have any or know where I can get some?? I'll try the local Pick and pull one of these weekends if not
