  1. This is you're BRAIN on Mcnuggets & METH!!!!
  2. They are actually pretty easy to remove, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left, jack up the front end and support with jack stands, remove the front diff skid plate/shield, remove the front driveshaft, remove the relay rod (for more clearance), support the front diff with a jack, remove the inner axle shaft flange bolts (both sides), disconnect the vent hose from the diff housing, remove the inner axle housing nuts and washers from the mount, remove the upper mounting nut and bolt, pivot the housing forward and down on the lower mount bolt, remove the lower mount nut and bolt, lower the jack and housing. when reinstalling the diff, install the lower mount nut and bolt first but dont tighten, pivot the carrier up and back, install the upper mount nut and bolt, install the inner axle housing washers and nuts on the bracket (torque to 75ft lbs), now torque the upper and lower mount nuts to 75ft lbs, connect the vent hose, install the axle shafts torque to 58ft lbs, reinstall relay rod, reinstall front drive shaft, check/refill diff fluid. reinstall skid plate/shield, remove jack stands, lower vehicle.
  3. Sounds like a front hub/bearing, these are a sealed unit, meaning the hub and bearing come as one piece.
  4. Man, that sucks! Be sure to have the Body Shop inspect the frame, make sure it's not damaged, sounds like the guy that hit you're truck was haulin!
  5. I have a set of stock front torsion keys and rear spring hangers off my '03 SSS AWD. Send me a P.M. if interested.
  6. Wow! If the cords are showing, you must have gotten you're money's worth out of them, how many miles?
  7. AC Delco Professional series
  8. You can get just the "pigtail" connector from You're local Chevy dealer, dont have to get the entire harness.
  9. What engine does it have? Base model? pic's?
  10. State farm as well, same price and deductable, no tickets, and I thought they were too high! They say it is partially based on you're zip code and credit rating.
  11. Sounded like they're trying to steal it from you. I went to NADA to see what my '03 SSS with 60k mi. is worth; Rought trade in $12475, average trade $13900, clean trade $15075, and clean retail (what the dealer will ask) $18375. Looks like if you're going to sell, would be better not trading it in to a Dealer, but sell it yourself.
  12. As far as I know, you can't disable the system, at least on the Tahoe's, the TPMS module is built into the window switch module, which is in the passenger door. Good luck, if you find a solution please post it up.
  13. not just any servo...a Corvette servo.
  14. You're screen looks cool! I have this same CAI, bought it because they are much cheaper, been having problems keeping the filter on, even used a socket and ratchet to tightnen the clamp, slips off the tapered plastic spacer/adapter piece. Ready to junk it and buy a K&N.
  15. I'm guessing it's part of a air conditioning compressor.
  16. These are taking up too much needed room in the garage! O.K. how about $500 including shipping!!!
  17. That's one bad truck! Did you do the work yourself?
  18. Thanks for the great info, will get to shopping so I can get some pic's posted.
