a ported box doesn't always perform as good as a sealed box. in fact if you like fast bass music a ported box will be no where close to being able to keep up. you should look at cuttin those holes into a square and puttin in some L5's. they require only .8 cu.ft. and kicker usually performs best in a smaller box. ...just my .02 cents

true true. there should be a bracket holding it stable to the block so just unscrew that and give it a tub. it won't come easily.

yea we need to know what you're tryin to do. if you're talkin about paintin the whole truck, then most of us can prolly talk you out of it right now if you're changin colors.

i have the 4 subs and yes they're dvc 2ohm. and right now i'm running a 2 channel amp at 2 ohms. and plan to get a mono block that's 1ohm stable. i was just makin sure i had the right diagram so i wouldn't be buying the wrong amp.

can anyone tell me if this wiring diagram uses both coils or just one? when i wire my subs i want them to handle all 450 watts not just half that.

yea sugurland isn't really northwest houston. i live in cypress, it's really nice over here and theres apartments and houses ranging all over the place in price. cypresswood and champions is also really nice, espcially champions. ...and theres also acre homes LOL

you should have done the whole truck flat, most people (as in not custom oriented people) would think you just got a new hood and haven't had it color matched yet. as with the bed cover.

i'm lookin at gettin the "TQ1601D" by planet audio. mono block, and plan to run it on 1ohm... anybody have luck with this or any problems? i don't know much about this company... and if you have any experience with their speakers let me know about those too.

so i gave it quite a bit of juice around a turn and lettin off the pedal my exhaust made a loud pop. not the normal backfire from floorin it or reving but LOUD like i turned off my engine and turned it back on while rollin down the road. anyone know what could have caused this?
