  1. paintin the bowtie and leavin the bar chrome will make the tie stand out A LOT!!! but in my opinion you should paint it all black. the lights won't stand out bad at all.
  2. well black is the best but far from the rarest! but there's a guy on here wit a white clone that is sick as hell!!!!! i like em in white, shoulda made em white too....

  4. goin from the gut to the magnaflows you should be rollin around with a fat smile for the next month or so! i know what its like rollin around with your truck not sounding like you want it to. just kinda embarrasing almost.

  6. well when i heard my friends difference.... it wasn't any less quite than the delete (that i could tell at least) and with less rasp to it, in other words just deeper and kind of a smoother sound almost. and still with all the backfire and poppin that we love and enjoy!!

  8. i have no doubt it will solve the sound issue, in fact i actually prefer the magnaflow sound better than the deleted sound. although i heard a straight piped gto that just about made me wet my pants it sounded so good!!!
  9. the tune will take care of the cel problem no doubt. and ionno the actuall number but don't count on it bein too fast...i mean keep in mind a truck is kinda like a chunk of square metal rollin down the road.

  11. i figured you had just glanced. just tryin to clear up anything on my part. but YES! krambo would most likely know, and YES again the design of the cat without it's guts causes a nasty bouncing of sound waves.
  12. i had the same kinda problem with my truck. would start untill like the 5th crank and very sluggish, turned out my fuel regulator was goin out. but chevy's usually have pretty hefty injectors as stock so that def. shouldn't be the problem.
  13. i think you should consider a 2/2 drop. that way it keeps the back end a little higher to keep the "sporty" look. just my .02
  14. guy you're talking about two different things... the magna flows are actual catalytic converters vs. the "allflow" from frozen boost is just a straight pipe with a cat housing around it. and the magna flows flow WAY better than stock, they sound almost like a straight pipe just "cleaner" also the "allflow" cats are kinda just for looks in case a cop really wants to be an a-hole and get up under the truck.
  15. x-pipe fo sho. and the dual single chamber mufflers are most likely causing the redneck sound. you should look into a 40 series if you wanna stay with the flowmasters. or.... just straight pipe it and be done!!!!

  20. a tune will do it. and there are some cheap methods of doing it. but a tune is much more guaranteed.
  21. yea, there is no possible way a muffler would make your rpm's change at all. and your problem is lose of a little back pressure. simple. most people feel it. a tune will do the trick
  22. headers are always a sweat upgrade, they just look mean under the hood!! but you will want lt's soon down the road. i'm still kickin myself for not doin the lt's.
  23. tune. hands down. when i put my cai on i didn't feel shit! in fact, just get a k&n filter and the tune at the same time. then later on maybe upgrade to the full cai. although none of em are true cai anyways.
