  2. beat him by 10 truck lengths from stop. then ran again on the third horn and he jumped me...and beat me. unfortunatly. but i still only got the 5.0, and not the 572. haha
  3. the .08 wouldn't make much of a difference. i've heard the cvx's in a small box like that and they sound great. but just wouldn't be as loud as a bigger box. the amp could be mounted behind the back seat. and an aftermarket headunit would make wirirng the subs easier.

  5. it doesn't look bad. but an sss isn't for lifting. and he should have done smaller rims bigger tires. although he did do a nice suspension lift on it.

  7. and a stall converter choice would be nice too. zippy has two for my tranny. ones 33 spline and the other 30. about 250 dollar difference. any performance difference?
  8. i was lookin at the zippy shift kits and didn't know which one to get. he's got one that's 250 with the kit and servos. but is it both sets and is that the full shift kit. just tell me what to get guys. i've got the 4L60E tranny. (correct me if i'm wrong). and i wanna go to a 4:10 ratio. so which one for that too. and how much you guys think i would be lookin at to get the gears, kit, and servos installed?

  10. i'd say that's a good deal. especially if he's mandrel bending the pipes.
  11. fireman know his tips. big tips like that would look great. especially if you had the angles of each tip even together.

  13. anyone know how much it is starting out at autozone. in texas by the way. if that changes anything.
  14. just pay attention to how hard the rubber is. my dad is runnin michelin's and he has over 60k miles on em. so try and find specs on rubber type or grade or somethin like that. harder the rubber the less the wear.
  15. i've got the 96 1500, and wanna go from the stock ratio to a 4.10. but what does this do to performance? as in what should i expect? and how much am i lookin to spend doin this, and what other things if any would i need to do this mod?
  16. i've got exhaust (with glasspack instead of the gibson muffler), headers, cai. gonna be doin efans, tune, pulley kit, 160 stat, and maybe deleted cat. is there any other cheap bolt on mods that i'm missin? any help is appreciated guys.
  17. i've got gibson's. and kinda in the same boat as sickss...seein as how no one here likes the gibsons. but 40 series are pretty loud. and flowmaster just came out with a new muffler that is pretty much a glasspack (with out the fiberglass) and the only restriction is a little screen kinda like the one in a stock maf sensor. but can't go wrong with corsa or even cutouts. the electrics are nice.

  19. i've got a catback system by gibson that comes out there. flowmaster has a kit like that. and so does borla. and maybe corsa? but i know gibsons do.
  20. that's nice dude. but i'm more of the pillar pod guy. although that paint makes it smooth.
  21. i've seen that shit before... but it was a f150 with a dogde ram eblem on the other side. i was just like wtf? is thist guy an idiot?
