  1. thanks for the info, but no not bottoming out, just trimmed my stockers too short havent been able to take a look at the rear bumpstops in a while so I'll have to see what you mean by the brackets for em. But remove the brackets and dont trim?
  2. EVS bumpstops from stylintrucks.com, work as a replacement for our bumpstops? thanks
  3. whatever the limit for PI is it's for sure under what he blew.
  4. what year 300zx? Should be able to handle the power no problem, unless you're putting something downright ridiculous in it lol.
  5. Thanks, not building tho, just some gee whiz info, but gives me another direction to go with the truck
  6. lucky to get your hands on ST1's, I tried to because they only run 175 per tire but being that they're discontinued had to go with the ST2's which were 214/tire from tire discounters. Had em mounted today, ride pretty good
  7. Would definately like to spread the word about these guys in the columbus area of ohio. Great customer service and they know what they're doing. Do everything from just ordering floor mats to dyno tuning, and they just got a new dyno our AWD's will fit on! Hard to find around here... Thought I'd share
  8. yep, pretty much what I was lookin for. have to change the heads if you did the bore/stroker kit?
  9. So after getting into chevy and being on the forum for a bit and all that, been hearing alot about people stepping up to the 408. Is it a motor itself or do you just buy the rotating assembly to turn the Lq9 into a 408? like this: http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item.asp?i...86&catid=88
  10. ordered mine from summit, they ship pretty quick
  11. military ID "fell out" huh? Mine has a habit of doing that as well. You gotta admit marines do get a bad rep, but that's still messed up, dont think I would've been able to bite my tongue on that one. Cops working on holidays, I dont have any sympathy for em, at least after their shift they can still go home to their families. And I'll give em the same speech all the military gets, "you signed the dotted line"
  12. Cant really say that I'm surprised... Watch out posting up those star wars schematics, might give them an idea
  13. I have mine exiting before the rear tire, love it but the pipes are a tid-bit uneven (I have OCD). Came on the truck when I bought it, probly gonna have it re-done sometime.
  14. a TC WITH the TRD supercharger runs the same as our stock times (low 15's), and a non S/C TC runs low 16's or high 15's depending on the driver. Seems like we get more gains out of our mods too. TC's arent bad tho, the motors handle boost really well, and having TRD as an option is nice due to warranty reasons
  15. havent messed with this phone yet, but I've had and tried out alot of the claimed iphone "competitors" and havent really found one that's BETTER than the iphone IMO. I broke down and got one, especially being that for all the other phones the plans cost around the same per month. Blackberry's(the older ones)...ugh...went through 3 of em in 3 months... if you mess up that trackball the phone is basically done for, and it's hard not to do when your job involves alot of grease and dirt, not to mention working on cars on top of that. The iphones are more durable than people think, guy I work with had his run over by a cobalt, cracked the screen but still works perfectly .
  16. nevermind, summit is amazing
  17. CRAP.... Have someone taking care of my SS right now back in the states, soon after I left the stock battery finally went out, ordered a red top and had it shipped to his house, he installed it, and it's died every now and then. I cant really look at it to see if I have a drain or anything though. As far as exchanging them, I imagine he probly threw away the receipt....would that matter?
  18. especially on boost applications. I'm not one to really trust "universal" parts either, but is a good idea
  19. I'm confused but then again at the same time I'm not. I hate the media just as much, but from what I've read about this guys past in the military, wondering why no flags were thrown up. Then again, with the combination of him being an officer AND a psych/mental health doctor I imagine that's why everyone kind of looked past it. Just rambling, there's probly alot of info that I and the rest of the public dont know. Maybe this will kind of open peoples eyes though that regardless of rank or job anyone is capable of anything
  20. i agree that it is super easy, hell I was able to do it
