  1. I noticed a difference when i installed mine and had zippy email me an updated tune, nothing huge but i could tell a little difference, worth the 20 bucks i spent IMO
  2. no i havent, i just dont trust turbonetics anymore, yeah alot of people use em and some they work fine for, but to me they're the ford of turbo's. But that's just my opinion
  3. im always sketchy of items on ebay that have that long of a title for the item . but yeah i think that would more than likely run into the accessories. then again, who needs A/C and power steering? I looked at trick performance's kit up and down, would go with it but am leaning more toward kb racing's kit http://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=426570 Mostly because I have more faith in master-power turbos than i do turbonetics, but to each their own.
  4. downright badass... I saw the chevelle SS with a TT duramax in a recent issue of diesel power and thought that was the most badass idea ever!
  5. I aligned and rebalanced the tires directly after the install, and am positive it was done right
  6. the ATR's may have been at a good deal, but there has been alot of pissed off people because the sidewalls have been splitting and theyve been notorious for flatspots. Granted there's a handful that dont have any problems as usual, but from what I've seen and heard between 15k and 25k is when it hits the fan . I've been dead set on getting the LTZ's whenever I get newer tires, I personally think they'll look good on the SS, not too beefy IMO, and I have to deal with the ohio winters
  7. wow, and I thought I used mine too much like a work truck, he just redefined it...
  8. just a few of the winners in ohio we had to take pics of Yes...those are hood pins.... Dice, MILLION air fresheners, poorly matched paint scheme, and even worse....according to his license plate he wont lose
  9. actually just emailed belltech, waiting to hear from them. I got the shock PN's figured out as well, just wasnt sure as to which type of shocks I should choose, went with nitro drop shocks. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand found bump stops as well. Found out that I actually have more time on my hands to REALLY look for this stuff in iraq than I do at home
  10. A new(er) front diff was put in it a year roughly prior to it leaking by the chevy dealership, would it take that long to start leaking like that? Yall coulda just made my freakin day if that's the case, thought I had another expensive fix on my hands....
  11. Soooooo why would the rear of the front diff be leaking?
  12. ok, so I dont get back to the states till november, and I'm gonna hit the ground runnin on fixin my truck. In a nutshell, I lowered it 2" with spindles and shackles, had a vibration at around 70mph, couldnt get around to fixing or figuring it out, and right before I left the back of the front diff started leaking (where the DS comes in). SOOOOO, my questions are... does ANYONE know what the pinion angle should be on the front and/or rear driveshaft? So i know what to correct it to... if it's the front pinion angle like im guessing thats off, i correct that by turning UP the torsion bars right? (1/4 turn at a time) To turn up the torsion bars I just simply turn that bolt that is facing down and i do that while the truck is sitting?? SHOCKS, which ones for my application FRONT AND REAR? on top of that anyone got a part number? haha. too many suggestions in too many threads honestly, ready to hit the order button on a set of shocks... what part number is the energy suspension front poly bushing kit? part number for our bumpstops? any aftermarket ones for lowered applications exist so i dont have to buy brand new ones and cut em up? lol, i cut my current ones too short... Thats all the questions i have for now, i'll probly think of more, my main concern is fixing the pinion angle so it doesnt happen again, and figured while im at it take care of the rest by fixing the bumpstops and upgrading the shocks and bushings. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
  13. congrats, i got another 2 months and ill be headin home as well.
  14. there's quite a few popping up down here in dayton, but the majority of them dont seem to be the auto enthusiast type and the few that do I can never get a hold of
  15. UFC doing what it does best, turning their fighters into pop stars
  16. Granted, it's just my opinion, but I'm a fan of the ufc when it literally lived up to it's name "ultimate fighting championship". I still watch it today, I'm a fan of lesnar and all, but it's not as good as it was when it was illegal in some states. Fedor hands down is my favorite fighter, him and then crocop-which by the way was good to see him come back...Shitty fight, but he's back as much as I wanna see fedor fight lesnar, I think crocop and lesnar would be a damn good fight. I highly doubt that fedor is scared of lesnar.... Lesnar made a mistake and Mir got him on it, the first fight anyways, and that's exactly what fedor would do just like he did with arlovski, wait until he makes a mistake... and people are saying so much about lesnar's size and how big he is blah blah blah, yeah he's a big sombitch, but does anyone remember the fedor and hong man choi fight???? or fedor vs. zulu? Okay yeah zulu was just obese and couldnt fight ill admit that I could go on all day but dont have the time, so accuse me of not being a "true" mma fan lol, but it's just my 2 cents
  17. haha, that sucks man, I was in kuwait a lil while back for a good amount of time, probly exactly where you are, only on the air force side . Im headin to balad, gonna enjoy the july/august weather for sure.......meh
  18. Not too much of a shock, IMO he died a long time ago-when he first started goin nuts and touchin little boys
  19. Well it's about time, a short notice deployment came up and I fought really hard to get it, been waitin for another one for awhile. Its a short one, so will be back soon but will be enough time to pay off my debt and GET STARTED ON THE TRUCK! I may be able to stop in on the site every once in a while, but if not, later!
  20. BUT, to answer one of your questions, if you have the ability and confidence to make and fab your own piping and manifold then for sure do that, will save you tons of money. If there was a "kit" I'm sure you'd have to do some personal fabrication anyways, so mightaswell do it yourself from square one.
