  1. Well first off just getting everything together for it wasn't very appealing to me, driveshafts, a decent used tranny, new TC, wiring, cross member modification, etc.. And the 4l80 has different gear ratios than the 65e that I didn't like. And i'm fairly certain I read somewhere that the parasitic loss is more with an 80e and they weigh more. A built 65 just seemed easier to me. Now if I was building a race truck then it would be a built 80e hands down.
  2. injector data has to match with the injectors on the truck he'd have more of a headache if he tried to use your tune
  3. X2 I love my flt level 6 and i'm so glad I did that over the 4l80
  4. My 408 is easily DD friendly. Its all about how you build it. Or have it built. I run 12.5:1 scr with a mild cam for a 408 and a 3200 circle d stall. Drives just like our 6.0 until you get on it. Then hold on.
  5. Glad you went with the Eaton, I think you'll be happier. Looks like a fun install day lol
  6. Arrival blue is definitely the fastest lol but damn good purchase there man. You'll love the truck and the forum!
  7. both of those are pretty small. what are your plans?
  8. Oh they do lol whoops. My bad.
  9. They don't have the seat belt built into the seat is the only problem.
  10. My friend has gone through 2 auburns.. Just fyi before you install it. Why not a tru-trac
  11. yes, 6.125" rods, 4.02-4.03" pistons
  12. Can't just swap out the crank, you need to bore out the cylinders too.
  13. I like the white but damn those wheels gotta go
  14. "Built" isn't a shift kit and stall. But if you're just camming it then that might be enough to keep it happy for awhile. Both good mods imo.
  15. this is your 3rd thread on this... just bump the original
  16. Check your plugs and wires I'd say first
  17. Its not a factory sunroof, its aftermarket
