Well this is no good! I am hoping to have mine up and running by the end of July. I hope yours goes together well. Why are you going 1/2" head studs? 30psi? And if your going to e-85 your going to be changing your fuel system to what? Dual 450's? I'm in to watch this one. Flip through my build thread. Pretty close setup to mine.

Honestly? No. But if it happens I'll just smile bigger. I have an odd feeling I'm going to get to a point. Where I just start tearin parts to pieces. I just don't know where that will be yet. But I think we might find out.

It will be exciting to see what my truck does. I got some caltracs from GI.SS. And I think I have an idea on how to strap the front end for this summer. But next summer I will have Atomic's coil over front setup done and that should really help. I'm so excited. You guys have NO idea. Besides Brandon's, this should be one of the fastest street trucks in town.

I am having all the hardware removed out of my ankle tomorrow from when I broke it a year ago. So. My install is delayed a week or two. But. Here is some porn for you guys. This thing is just teasing me!! I will have 4 drag radials on mine, but I don't think it will beat Chase's record. At least I'm not expecting it too.

This is a hard one. You would pretty much have to change the entire genre of the site to attract more users that are outside of the SSS box. I think there is a lot of great information on this site, but it sure could use some help

It would be easy to do. The expensive part is the pipes and turbo that I have. For him I would do a hell of a deal. Lol. Then a little mechanical know how. Cxracing charge pipes. I just used a chop saw and cut my pipes to fit. Then bought my intercooler from them. Oil supply and drain lines. Some exhaust modification. There is some other things too but that is the majority of it. DO IT STEVE!

We ordered her truck. The only way to get a 6.2 in the half ton was to get the max trailer package with the Ltz trim. She wanted a denal pickup and this is basically the same thing, but it has selectable 2wd/4wd.

Heck. Your running the same times I was with my old setup. Granted, my old motor was almost stock. But still. Low 12's are awesome. And I had more than 2k into it. I just didn't have to fill up a bottle once a week.

LOL! I have a lot of turbo parts. I might need some spray off the line to light my turbo.

Small update. Engine is finished and sitting on the engine stand in front of the truck. Definitely going to be making some quick progress here soon. We are already half way through our summer up here so I better get a move on for zippy to have time to tune it. Very few things are missing now. But one major thin I have been waiting on for a couple months now is the turbo. I received my hot pipes back from ceramic coating. Coater put on some new titainium coating. Looks awesome. Pics don't do it justice. Kind of a shame I am going to cover them up with wrap also. Lol Got another important part in the mail today. It looks like this harness setup will literally plug right in to everything. I will know in a week or so.

The way I have always gotten that too bell housing bolt out is I leave it for the last thing to do. Then you lower the trans down about 4 inches, you use a very long extension with a universal and I reach up from behind the tranny(Since you have to remove the tcase when pulling trans) and remove the bolt.

Yes sir! Car trailer is to get the SS to the track. And, that is my wife's pickup, with a 6.2 in it. That thing is awesome. I think it is probably just as fast or faster than her TBSS.

If you have a good fab shop in town go there. I literally stood there when the welder welded mine and Brandon's. He did both of them in about an hour. And that included painting them black with rattle can so they didn't rust.

If you just take your crossmember to a welding shop. It won't cost you 140 bucks worth of welding to modify your stock crossmember to work. You need to move the mount back 2.5 inches.

I am going to do this Richard. I am just trying to finish putting my motor in and get my truck running again. Forced inductions is takin forever to ship my turbo. And we only have like a month and a half of summer left up here in Alaska. -edit my plan is to do this over the winter.
