  1. Wow! I'm SO jealous! That looks awesome. Your going to have to run it without the intake pipes just to show it off!! LOL!

It is safer to be rich, for sure. But there is a point where you can get too rich. You can wash down a cylinder with fuel when you are to rich. I was just saying that would be a good thing to log for Zippy to see. I hope you didn't think I was knocking on Zippy. Lol! I use his services also. He does good work. For as fat as it is in that video, you will probably pick up a little more power when it is leaned out some.
  3. You will get use to it. As long as you can read your wide band. The boost doesn't matter so much. I had gauges on my pillar, I ended up taking them off and swapping to the SoCal overhead gauges because every Tom dick and Harry wants to race. Lol!

I would be getting with Zippy pretty quick before you stomp on it to much more. That is too rich. You can do damage to your motor when you are too rich. On a side note. Truck sounds good and strong! I'm jealous. I really wanna drive mine, but still haven't gotten finished putting it together. How much boost are you shooting for?
  5. I have the grabbers on my 22's. They are a good all around tire. But you have to stay on top of rotating them and have a good alignment or they wear goofy real quick.

Looking good! Going to be makin some big numbers now!
  7. Well. I could be wrong. Maybe the bcm doesn't control the windows. I didn't see any thing in there about it. But I didn't see anything in there about the dic info either. And I was told that is what is causing my engine hours to reset all the time. Is a glitch in the bcm. But, I have been wrong before.
  8. Bcm module I believe controls all those functions. Another deal linked to the bcm if I remember right was your engine hours in the dic.
  9. I am going to be putting it on a black truck, but my truck is currently in a as state.
  10. Well. Got some painting done and the fuel tank is completely done.
  11. Next project is to clean up the wiring and vacuum lines. I think I am going to have to extend the wiring harness because it will not sit behind the intake. I can't have that! That is something I have not tackled before. Should be interesting.
  12. Been a while since I got an update. Been down for a little while and then crazy busy at work. Brandon came over and helped me at lunch time today and helped me guide the motor in. So it is in and bolted in at least. The intake is just sitting on top for the pic. Still working on a few things before I bolt that down.
  13. It says the vehicle in the link is sold. I hope you got it.
  14. The arp header studs are stainless steel.
  15. I bought my wife a new chevy 1500ltz. Which is pretty much identical except for the selectable t-case. We love the truck. It gets better fuel mileage than any chevy pickup I have ever had. You won't be dissapointed. I haven't had too many problems with the truck. We have every option except for the heated steering wheel. We had the pass side cooled seat quit working once but it was a failure from the button. And that is the only problem we have had with the truck. By the way. The exhaust on the 6.2 stock is a 3.5" exhaust that supposedly flows incredibly well. Maybe just throw a muffler on it? It sounds pretty deep stock. And mine is black too. You'll love it when it is clean!
  16. Arp header studs are very nice to use. I have changed all my trucks over to the studs even with stock manifolds. OH! Use LOTS of anti-seize when going back together.
  17. If you can't turn it over by hand, why would you try with the starter?
  18. Check to make sure you put the rocker rail back on. Just a idea.
  19. I figure it has probably already been in that box for over a year or more. So I will leave it in there for now.
  20. I got mine in the mail yesterday. Ended up costing me 125 shipped to Alaska. I'm happy with it. It will stay in the box until the truck is painted this winter.
  21. I have had two price quotes to paint my truck and there is zero rust and no real dents. Just a few door dings and some surface scratches. I have a new bumper cover now, roll pan and want to have the tailgate shaved. The first quote was around 6500 and the second was at 7500. And granted this is in Alaska also. But your quote averages a shop rate of around 33 per hour. That is extremely cheap. As long as they stand by their work. Do it! Good luck!
  22. You know some of us still lurk. Most have disappeared. I saw haul@ss's truck for sale a few months ago.
  23. LOL!! This coming from a guy that disappeared and we don't know who he is?!!! WHATS up! Long time no see.
  24. I got a shipping confirmation tonight! Must be coming.
  25. It was 126 total shipped to Ak. We will see what happens tomorrow.
