  1. Thanks Johnny - This one should do the trick! Turns out that the guy who built the junkyard trans that's in it now just didn't have the knowledge to build it to properly to high performance specs - I suspect the clutch spacing is off, so I just decided to order this one and be done with it.

  2. Yeah, I hope to get this figured out pretty quick, then I think I'm going to this... http://www.mokandragway.com/event_info/truck_diesel_drags.html on July 18th. Then I have a couple of pretty major surprises on order  The first of which should be here in the next couple of weeks, but the other won't be here for like another 6 weeks. Should be in good shape for some sweet numbers this fall. I really don't expect to run that fast if I end up going to that truck bracket race because I'm sure it'll be too hot to put down any good numbers.

  3. Well, I hooked up the pressure gauge to the Schrader valve last night, turned the key and by the time I got back under the hood to look at the gauge, it was at 45 psi and dropping pretty fast. I then shut off the key and it started dropping even faster...I'm assuming the fuel is probably draining back into the tank from the return line. Tomorrow I'm going to disconnect the braided return line that attaches to the quick disconnect outlet on the rail, hook a plain rubber hose onto it, crimp the other end and then re-do the test. I had family over today and didn't have time to mess with it. ...I'll keep you posted

  4. Thanks man, great idea! This is getting delivered today http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000R5IASC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

so I'll do the pressure test first and see if I can find anything. That is a cool probe, may have to pick one of those up too!

  5. I needed to reach out to you guys to see if anyone knows how to diagnose a problem I found when changing my oil yesterday. So I go to change my oil yesterday and noticed it smelled like gas pretty bad while draining it. I know the truck is not running rich, so that can't be the problem. I spoke to Zippy and he said it could be the injectors or possibly the fuel regulator, but how do I tell what the culprit is? The other thing it has been doing is after it sits for a while (over night) I have to crank it several times before it fires up. This just started happening since I had the new LPA return style fuel system installed. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks!

  6. Sounds like a moderator with a chip on his shoulders. Not sure what exactly happened but I sure don't see were Andrew deserved to be banned!!!!! :(

Exactly! Him and I got into it on this thread because he was acting like a jack leg abusing his authority as a mod http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/86706-2015-silverado-ss-calendar/page-2 After that he started pm-ing me saying he was going to remove my sig pic because it was like 20 pixels too large, lol

  7. Lol it has bitten me but I tell myself leave it alone it's brand new and runs great :) got it for road trips originally to carry lots of stuff. It can always change tho :P

good call Jason. Personally if I were a RB like you and could afford a Denali, I'd at least run it for a few years as is and concentrate on modding out the SSS :D
