My truck doesn't have the fogs in it, and I want oem all the way. I have the oem switch for the dash, but are there any wires that I have to purchase? I guess what I am asking is if the trucks are pre-wired for fogs, even if they don't have them?

I am a noob here with the Silverados. I had an S10, and knew all about that, but I just got this truck the other day. I have a Pioneer avic Z2 head unit, and I know that the 03+ silverado's need the harness for the radio because all the chimes go through the radio harness. I also want to have a remote start installed, but I heard that you need a harness bypass for the radio for the remote start. My question is -- Will the harness for the dvd player be compatible with the remote start?? I will have the remote start installed, and I will do the radio myself. Thanks.
