  1. yeah if you dont mind. go for it. Maybe one with the picture of the truck coming down the road. With Procharged and SS emblem somewhere on there.
  2. Just bought a polished D1 for the SSS!!!

  3. thanks, The sun finally came out today or the first time in a week so Im going to try and clean it and get some better pictures today.
  4. man that is badass. I haven't been able to get on here the past few days so I just seen it. Thanks man.
  5. Thanks I think the look GREAT on a SSS. They are Boyd Coddington Osiris Wheels I didn't weight them but I will when I take them off to put the brake on it. They have some weight but not as heavy as soom 20+" wheels Iv dealt with.
  6. its two bolts. slide the caliper off the rotor and pull the rotor off then slide the new rotor back on and bolt the caliper back down. and PUMP THE BRAKES when you done. edit: saw you got drums in the rear. yeah there big and ugly and can be a bitch to mess with.
  7. Iv been here all my life. Im about 20 minutes from Townsend
  8. il already order the cross drilled and slotted...I didn't know. I just thought they looked cool lol.
  9. man your a big help. You have me convinced to paint the rotors, Thanks again
  10. Dang you just make it look TOO easy. I am kind of scared to spray paint my new rotors. But It does look really good. Will they definitely rust if I dont? The set up on you TBSS in the first pic is badass. The all black look is sweet. Are the SS emblems decals?
  11. Thanks Norcal. I ordered a set yesterday. What have some of yall done with the calipers? do most people just paint them black?
  12. Yeah that was me. Im Embarrassed you even seen my truck like that. I Hated them Wheels but sold my chrome SS wheels about a month ago. and with all the rain we was getting I wasn't even cleaning it. Yeah Wild Wings the wee pub and Ziggys on the Island are the hotspots in Brunswick. You going to school over at FLETC? I believe Norcal sells them on here also. Yeah that was the set I picked up. I drove all the way to Washington D.C to pick them up. lol 10 hour ride one way. It was a bitch but worth every gallon of gas. every $310 worth haha. Its was a nice little mini vacation through with the Girlfriend.
  13. That looks good man. Thanks, I was starting to give up on this thread. What kind of prices do people charge for professional ones?
  14. Your KIDDING me? I saw your truck at the Buffalo Wild Wings by target a few weeks ago. even took a picture of it. LOL seeing your truck with the 22" replicas had my dieing to get a set. I took the pictures at the Parkers gas station/car wash on 341
  15. Thanks, I almost ordered the 22" replicas like you have but decided on these the last minute.
  16. I went and picked these up this weekend. Boyd Coddingtons 22x10. The tires are 285/35/22s which are way too small. Thinking of going up to 305/40. I was going to wait till I got the right size tire or at least lower it before I put the wheels on but I couldn't resist. Heres some crappy pics with my cell phone.
  17. This look right? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Front-Rear-Drilled-Slotted-Rotors-Pads-FULL-Set-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZModelQ3aSilveradoQ201500QQhashZitem51975231e6QQitemZ350431097318QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_3283wt_1167
  18. Thanks for the info. Are you using a stock set of pads? Sorry I see Hawk pads. ps: what size tire are you running with the 2/3 drop?
  19. I DID search for threads and found two good ones with good info but they were too old and all the links didn't work. So Im wondering who runs them and which ones. Looking for Drilled/slotted/and vented. I learned on one of the threads I found that the stock pad is the best to use because it will not cause squeaking and have less brake dust. That true?
  20. Thanks for all the input so far. And thanks Tzer for the pic. I guess i will just go ahead and do the 3/4 with control arms. Seems like the truck will ride better if I go that route. I just want to make sure I do this right the first time. Im in Washington D.C. right now picking up my 22s. I have a ten hour ride back home ahead of me in the morning. Then Il get to work ordering some parts.
  21. I talk to NORCAL a few weeks ago about a drop kit for my truck. I am doing 4 inches in the rear but I dont know if I need to go 2 or 3 in the front. I do not want the rack look. I like my trucks to sit level. Im going to pick up some 22s this weekend so I need to now what to get. Should I do spindles and just turn the keys down a little if its still too high? some pics of SSS on 22s with a drop would be great.
  22. Shawn does your truck have a rack or does it sit pretty level with the 3/4?
  23. Mr. P what size turbo do you think will make these trucks scream? with all supporting mods of course. since the OP was interested in a turbo setup he might be interested in knowing this also along with me.
  24. Anymore opinions? Tax money is burning a whole in my pocket. mp76 or good ol' radix? or procharger? dammit I cant make up my mind. Im going FI no matter what just dont know which route. KB's has a nice kit for sale right now but im still interested in the D1 if I can find a good deal on one.
