good looking trucks. Im going to pick up some 22s this weekend with a 285/35/22 tire and I think they are going to be WAY to small.

Do you have shackles or hangers? first post says one thing and the second says another. Sorry If Im confused. I would be interested in the spindle/hangers setup if thats what you have. Thanks

I would without a doubt add the intercooler. Could the mp76 make anywere close to 550-600 awhp intercooled on say 10-12# ?

KB racing has a great kit out right now for only $2500. I want to get one with my taxes but would like to know which one. The standard kit comes with mt70 but you can upgrade to a 76 for just a little more. Will the 70 make me happy or should I go ahead and get the 76? My goal is mid 7s in the 1/8th. Iv hit 7.80s with my current setup and want more now. Most SSS have sts kits. I cant find very many with a front mount.I plan on keeping the lq9 in the truck as long as possible and just getting a custom ground cam for the turbo. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Ok I know im digging but found this thread on google while searching. Doesn't someone make a tbss wheels now to fit our trucks without adaptors? I would like to see a SS with 22inch tbss wheels. If anyones ever seen one tell me where to go look. I sold my 20in ss wheels to get some 22inch replicas but now im curious about the tbss 22s edit: I found some at factory reproduction with a +22 offset. Is this the right offset for these model trucks? I know the newer trucks are a little different.

Thanks for that right up. There were a lot of good points in there. I still haven't made up my mind. I want a better et and trap speed but im just not sure what route to take.I understand the radix making gobs of torque make since in these trucks but It seems the procharger would pull harder on the big end. I run the 1/8 and 1/4 at two different tracks. If I was just running the 1/8th I would probably be dead set on the radix but I feel like the Procharger would make more power helping it on the big end of the 1/4. This is a tough decision. all radix guys say go radix and the procharger guys say go procharger. I dont think I could go wrong with either. I really want 7.5s on motor with the lq9. and I already have the 3-3200 circle D which is too big for the radix and probably too small for the procharger. I need someone to post some timeslips to convince me on one or the other. I see your 12.21 which is very impressive but do you ever think that with your same mods and a procharger could you already be in the 11s? Sorry im making this so tough but neither kit is cheap and I dont want to look back and think I wish I would have gone the other way. Im all about et's. I could care less about fuel milage and all that other stuff.

what would your time be at sea level? mid 12s? also what converter do you run. Im right at sea level

Im wanting to get a procharger around the first of this year and I was just wondering what 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile times some of yall are getting. I see numerous amounts of SSS with maggies running 12.3-12.6s with supporting mods But I dont see many procharged guys posting there times. And Im talking about with the lq9. I wouldn't mind getting a Radix which I think looks 10x better than the procharger but I want high 11s. Im sure the radix with a 50-75 shot would get me there and If I can find a good deal on one I may go that route. I think I have got all im going to get out of my 150 shot and want to go deeper into the 7s in the 1/8th.

Does anyone notice the frame bottoming out when you hit bumps with a 4" drop?

Thats what happened to him. He didn't even know it was hitting anything until he went to put exhaust on it and the truck was on the lift and he saw the ring grooved into the driveshaft.

I know there have been some guys on here with it done but what needs to be done. A friend lowered his 05 awd SS with shackles/hangers in rear and the driveshaft was bumping on something. He sent me pictures but I never seen it in person. What is better shackles/hangers or shackles/leafs or just leafs?

I ran a 8.8 with just a converter, Headers, and half ass tune. Good time btw, some people dont realize how hard it is to get these bricks moving. Definitely not the best thing to go racing with lol. But still fun none the less.

if it has a center console how much for the plastic liner "bucket" under the lid? dont need the whole thing just the thing under the lid
