These coils are off a 40K mile 5.3 but are the same ones that are on my lq9. $80 shipped anywhere in U.S. The Clip that is broke is the clip that holds the harness down to the bracket and has nothing to do with the actual harness being able to plug in correctly. These are in perfect working condition.

Iv run flowmaster forever so i can tolorate the drone. i would love to run magnaflows but IMHO there just too quite at idle. I want something that sounds mean and really counts them off while its camming at idle but have that clean power sound of the magnaflows under WOT. nothing sounds better than a bullet at idle and a magnaflow at WOT. But you cant have both. Ill find something i like one day.

They are perfect except for the silver "vortec 6000" is kind of pilling/chipping. But probably wouldn't be hard to touch up. I will try my best to get pics up tonight but if not they will be up for sure tomorrow.

I have the original 3 piece engine cover off of my 2004 SS. says Vortec 6000 on the center cover.......60 shipped? LMK

Everytime I go to savannah i see a black SS sitting in a apartment complex. The main road runs beside the apartments so everytime I ride up there I always look and its always there.

I Daily drove my truck with that same converter for months without a tune and never had a problem. Its an awesome TC. Edit: And BTW I dropped .5 tenths off my ETs with JUST this stall. good luck

DA does have an effect but I dont think i have ever seen a stock SS run 16+. I would say you should be real low 15s

Thanks for summing that up for me. Im currently running duel flowmasters and iv been wanting to change it up. I narrowed it down to spintechs or dynomax bullets. But I may look into the magnums. I honestly love the flowmasters at idle with the 228r cam. But there aggravating as hell under part throttle.

I know just about every post in this section is about pacesetter long tubes or muffles. But i dont hear any one talking about the spintech mufflers. I listened to a few trucks on youtube and they dont seem to sound bad. Anyone had any experience with them?

Thats some nice TQ numbers. I ran VERY consistent 9.6s with my completely bone stock 04 AWD SS.

I was just wondering if anybody had some pictures of there wheel/tire combo for the track. iv been running 17in escalade wheels with 245/65/17s but starting to spin now. its hard to find a good looking 6 lug 16 or 17 inch wheel. let me know what some of you have.

about once a week my drive side air will just start blowing heat randomly. if i turn the truck off and crank it back up starts blowing cold again. idk

not knocking on doc for anything but i was considering taking my truck down there for him to tune it before i started hearing about some of the guys thats been down there. i know docs a respectful guy but i know about 6 guys here from georiga thats took there trucks down there and not one of them run right. then i know a guy that just put a 6.0 in a blazer with a nice size cam and stall with a mail order fromm wait for me and runs and idles perfect. So its hard to say why these guys thats taking there stuff down there to have them live tuned wont idle or shift and trys to cut off every time you slow down to turn. but then you can tell a guy what you have over the phone and he can send you somthing thats pretty close that runs and idles fine. just dont make sense. hope you get the problem worked out though. i know hes hard to get in touch with sometimes

Sounds to me like you have a 22x10 on the front. make sure the 10inchs are on the back and 8.5s on the front
