  1. I just installed a Aeroforce wideband sensor to my Aeroforce gauge and my reading are as follows: At idle 14.2-14.7 At cruise 14.2-14.7 At WOT 11.7 and hits 11.0 right at the shifting point. I think its running very good. Now I have to take it to the 1/4 and do a few passes.
  2. Where should I mount the o2 sensor on the driver side pipe or passenger side pipe. Reason I ask is because my LTFT reading are diff. on either side.
  3. Justin had done the tune before but something was wrong so he retuned it. After I get my wideband I see what it running and let him know. What should the afr be? I read somewhere it is supose to be 14.7-1@ cruise and 10.7-1@ wot, is that right.
  4. Good kill, I race one at the track awhile back and it didnt impress me. I was running 9.2-9.4 on the 1/8 and he ran a 9.0-9.2. Maybe a bad driver or something else I dont know. I have the pleasure of driving a 09 CTS-V and it is nice. It has a smoother power curve, its not like you feel it hard, but once you look at the speed-o-meter you see how fast you got there. The one I drove ran a 12.4 in the 1/4 mile, bone stock with like 300 miles on it.
  5. Well I went to the track yesterday to try out the new retune from Justin and it improved almost 1sec. I went from a best of 9.2 with old program to a 8.6 with new program. I ordered a wideband so i can check the afr and let Justin know. It might need alittle more fine tunnig not sure its up to Justin. Anyways now I am happier than before. Still need to get better tires I cannt get any better than 2.1 in the 60. After its all said and done I will be taking it to the 1/4 mile to see what she can do.
  6. I just did the install. It was real easy. I had a torque angle meter so i looked at it while my buddy cranked on it. I had to remove my e-fans to position the drill the right way. It wasnt so bad thought.
  7. I got it from AA corvette.com. It brings the jig,jig bolt,1 pin and gm bolt for 49.95. Everywhere I looked they where asking 100 and up. I asked about the 1 pin deal and he told me in all the years he has been putting them in he hasnt had any problems. They look like they know thier $hit. I just got it in the mail today. I will be doing tomorrow if possible.

  9. Is pinning the crank necessary on a truck like mines(mods at bottom). I thought it was for high reving engines.
  10. I have to call him (Justin) also. You should think about doing the cable tune. That way he can do the tune to the way the truck is runnig (or should) be.
  11. Dont feel bad I am running the same on my truck with the radix. I on the other hand know what it is (99 percent). I am running real rich. Justin is sending me the cable to tune it right so will see how go it gets.
  12. If I am not mistaken the srt-8 are big blocks at least my buddys srt-8 cherokee is. The charger is fast, I think it will take alot like a supercharger or alot of engine mods. You have to remeber that our trucks weight about 5-5500 pounds. Mines is at 5400 with full gas and me in it. I raced my buddys cherokee and he pulled 2-2.5 cars on me. I am not tuned right by the way but if I where it would have been close, and he is stock except for cat-back and drop in k&n. Good kill by the way.
  13. I had been tracking it all day long and when i got home there it was. I was alittle scared about changing it, but i figured if i installed it then it couldnt be that hard. I had been reading threads on how to change it and there where alot of people that had trobule getting the nut lose and getting the pulley out. So I said let me see if I can get the nut off. I cut a piece of rubber hose, put it on the pulley right behind the nut and clampped it with vise grips. Got my socket and long rachet and it came off with just alittle bit of pressure. Nothing like I had read on the thread where people where getting cheater bars on the pulley and rachet. Then I said let me see if it will come of by hand or by tapping it lightly. Didnt move, and I didnt want to push it so off to napa i went. I tried to buy a 3 jaw puller but all they had was a 2 jaw so I bought that one. Went home put it on the pulley and off it came no problem. Put the 3in on tighten it and put the belt back on. Took it for a spin and I was seeing 7-7.5psi. Justin sent me the cable so he can dial it in just right. I hope to see low 13, maybe even high 12, But i will just have to wait and see.
  14. Ebay show it at 99-06, but mines is a 06 and I have drums. I guess they never did away with the discs on the SUVs.

    Ran A Vw.

    SO I was going home and I see a Infinity G35 following a VW GTI (I think, its one of the new ones). So I tried the G35 but he didnt bite. So I keep on my merry way and the VW gets on my @$$, so I step on it. We where doing around 70 and I had the needle buried. I tell you what those things are fast. He didnt pass me but he stayed about 1 car behind. Once again I cannt wait to get it tune right . I was looking though the rear view mirror and I could see the black smoke the hole time. I would have for sure pulled on him and he wont have kept up. At least he didnt pass me so that was good.
  16. Okay, I am alittle confused on the above post. If a 3.3 give you 5-6.5 psi then why does a 3.1 only give you 6. I saw on South Florida Pulleys web site that a 3.1 would give you 2psi over stock. Right know (considering Iam not tune right) I boost 4psi and it creaps to 5-5.5psi. As it is going to shift (I will have to double check) I think i saw 6psi. I can buy a 3.1 cheap. I dont want to over do it since its my DD.
  17. I am going to be changing out the pulley on the maggie. Can I use a jaw puller to remove. How do I put the new one on. I hear that they are pressed.
  18. Thanks guys. I love the maggie. Its not even tuned right, I cant imagine if it where just right. Would of been nicer if we where rolling at 70 and the truck would have down shifted to 2nd. But i cannt complane, I still beat him.
  19. So my brother came over to check out the maggie and we went for a ride. I was on 595 and was going to take the I-95 exit when I see a Ford Lightning coming up. I decided to stay on to see if he would bite. We were crusing at 70 and I spend up but nothing. I let off and he gets beside me and he starts to accelerate, his back bumper get to my front bumper and then he steps on it. I step on it also, I was around 75 and it didnt down shift to 2nd. So it down shifts to third and by then he is 1/2 car in front. The SS starts to rev and you start to hear the maggie, by the time I was at around 5000rpms I was passing him. I couldnt believe that he would jump me, and even then I caught him and passed him. I cannt wait to put the 3" pulley and get it tune right.
  20. Thats sweet, congrats. How did you do the overhead gauge and A/F gauge install. I dont think I want to do the pillar mount on mines.

  22. I think the 08 5.3 brings 315 stock. What are the dyno numbers @ the wheel? What was the gain @ the wheels? I noticed that that was at 8.5 psi. Our maggies produce around 120hp on a older (04-06)5.3 on 5 psi.
  23. I kind of figured that. So next question wheres the best place to buy one. The place that I bought my maggie from has them for 84 bucks.
