  1. I live in CT also haven't found a good tuner here for our trucks I went with wheatley with a cable tune I really recommend going with wheatley he does an awesome job

Not sure if it is the O2 sensors starting to go or what it is truck has been running great for a long time a now all of a sudden its been richening up at different parts in the throttle position to the point where the truck bogs down. I disconnected meth real quick thinking maybe it was coming on to soon but that isnt it still does it. Not sure what else it could be.
  3. The stock pulley that came with the kit was a 4.0. I'm currently seeing 15 psi at top top boost im running wheatley tune with meth injection. I have stock internals and now im over 100000miles on truck so far so good wheatley is a awesome tuner. I put a reichard ultra grip pulley on and I have a 3.4 pulley from procharger here somewhere that im no longer using also have the stock pulley im no longer using. I am at the end of the P1SC boost potential so im thinking of trading head unit in for the D1SC prolly wont be for awhile though. Next mod is the efans I have had laying around here for almost a year will be putting those on within the next couple months I heard they really do make a difference going from the stock fan. What kind of stall converter do you have? I put the PI 9.5 3000 stall on my truck and I love it.

So getting on 15 in ct I have a new blue cobalt ss behind me not sure if supercharged or turbo guessing supercharged because of how loud it was. from about a 40 roll we take off till we hit around 120 i pulled alittle on him and that was it I stayed like a truck on him the whole time, his car was so loud I could his supercharger going the whole time when he was behind me. Are they normally that loud? not sure if or what he had for mods but he stuck pretty close to me.

  6. I just got back from driving to VA from CT my avg econ was 19. It only took me one tank of gas to get down there. My street fuel mileage is usually around 13. I get better mileage now then before I was supercharged it does better on gas then my dads 5.3. and my avg speed was 70mph I was really impressed.

No I dont have a vented oil cap the only thing I did was put a a catch can on the line running from the passenger side valve cover and then from the catch can it goes to the procharger, other then that I did nothing to the system. Also change out oil, the oil was clean no metal in the filter or on the magnet on the end of the plug.
  8. Well I fixed the holes in the dipstick last night. So this morning tryed it out to see if it would come out the top of dip stick or blow the dip stick off. Brought the truck up to 8 psi and nothing happen no oil shot out and the dipstick didn't blow off if anything the truck feels like its running stronger I have no logical reason for this oil gauge is reading fine and there is no ticking in the engine. I'm going to do an oil change today to see if there is anything in the oil filter. Any ideas on maybe what's going on? Someone said that maybe the holes in the dipstick acted like a vaccum and pulled the oil up? Could this be?

    Ss Vs. Ssr

    Today infront of me getting on the highway was a black SSR sounded real nice truck was louder then mine. As soon as we got on we had open highway we kicked down from about 55 I was behind him I pulled around him and just kept pulling on him about 8 or more lengths up to 110 then I slowed down so he could catch up when he got next to me he gave me a thumbs up and we both went on our way. Real nice sounding truck not sure what year not sure how to tell the difference i know they made them 03-04 with the 5.3 and 05-06 with the ls2.

Well today I got on it racing a SSR and smelt burning oil didn't think anything of it just got on it again and smelt oil again got home open hood oil all over headers and plugs the bracket broke of my dipstick that was holding it in place and oil was spraying out of the holes where the bracket was connected is it normal for oil to travel up the dipstick or do I have issues I fixed the whole?
  11. Yeah I agree with everyone here there has to be something in the tune. I have the P1SC and I smoke the tires off the line your truck should be running alot harder esp with the D1 and that set up. Wheatley did a cable tune on mine and we logged some driveing tune is great.

  14. On my 03 are the brake pads for the front the same as the ones in the rear? Also what are the best brake pads out for our trucks right nowl? Thanks.

Im running 14 psi with my P1 im at 85000 miles on my truck about 35000 boosted I have driven it to myrtle beach and back and to Virginia and back. trans is still stock trans with shift kit, servos, alum accum pistons and torque converter I have a meth kit and Wheatley did a cable tune. To be dead honest its all in the tune you can blow up with low boost if you have a bad tune or in my case you can run high boost with a great tune go with a tuner that knows our truck for what its worth I suggest Wheatley he is awesome and his customer service is out of this world. I love my procharger and would tell everyone to get one. Ive been in other SS with supercharger besides the procharger and they just dont have the same feel and power thats my .02.
  16. Yeah im still on the MAF tune, yep still got the sensor. Im seeing 14 psi right now more then enough, I havent even gunned this thing off the line yet im to scared to blow something lol, I go half throttle off the line and I start spinning the tires. Yeah next thing is I need to get my efans in. Then the later on get the 60lb injectors and maybe a D1SC head unit.
  17. nope I never got there I wanted to go so bad. My friend wants me to go up with him sometime soon and race him he has a viper truck with a upgraded TB and a intake he ran a 13.82 last time he was there so im not to worried. I prolly end up going when everyone meets up again in the fall at LVD. Your right tho on the other post I do need to upgrade my injectors, but right now the wife would kill me if I spent that kind of money on injectors lol .
  18. right now im seeing 14 psi with 44lb injectors and meth injection, but I should really upgrade to the 60 lb injectors because im prolly all duty cycled out on the 44's. I also did shift kit, alum accums and a stall converter for the tranny and a bigger tranny cooler. Wheatley does awesome tuneing. I would def upgrade the tranny just as a precaution.

    Ss Vs. Zo6

    Getting on the highway the other day I had a new Zo6 right behind me i knew he wanted to play so I slowed to 25 and as soon as we got straight we both nailed it. I knew he would take me top end, but I wanted to see how i would fair I have to say we were both shocked lol I stayed a truck on him up to 110mph after that he pulled on me I was shocked the car sounded so nice. The guy gave me the thumbs up and we parted ways just a quick little race.
  21. I just change my regulator out tonight to. Seemed to fix my start up issue also.

  22. I used a relay I hook up the power wire to a 20 amp fuse in the fuse box it only powers when I turn it on. not sure if I hear a whine or not. But my truck was having problems starting before it took alot of turning over to get it started and now it starts right away while im driving now it doesnt drop below 50 psi of fuel pressure
  23. I just installed a walboro inline fuel pump on my truck I also have my stock fuel pump. How do I tell if the walboro pump is working? I dont hear it making any humming sound, but my guess is that the truck wouldnt start if it didnt work because the stock pump wouldnt beable to push the fuel pass the inline pump unless it was working? is this true? I just want to make sure it is working. thanks guys.
  24. the same bulbs that activate for the blinker are the same ones that activate for the brakes the blinker and the hazards work fine its just when I hit the brakes they dont go on?

I need help before I get a ticket I cant figure out why my passenger side brake light is out I replaced all bulbs, my day time lights work, my blinker works everything works besides when I hit the brakes the passenger side light is out I have power going to it I just can figure it out. Help please.. thanks guys
