Ahh I hate the weatherman I wish I was there thought it was going to rain well hopefully we have a meet in spring.....

Just put new alternator 145amp and a new battery I had the original battery in there still, truck runs awesome now also sometimes my headlights would dim they dont do that anymore either so was a good investment.

Im with you on this one sorry guys but im also going to have to back out I dont want to drive up there to have it rain hopefully Ill get to meet you all soon at another meet.

If you end up splitting up the kit give me a pm im interested in the intercooler and BOV.

if it is going to rain I prolly will not show pretty long drive for me I hope to know by early afternoon tommorow, but If I dont go this weekend I will prolly go before end of season on another sat or wendsday. still snowing here this sucks was looking foward to this.

Just wanted to know what the advantages were to having the 145 amp alt. over the stock 105 amp alt will it make a difference

I just don't get why I just put the new pulley on and then the alternator barrings go you think there anything else that can cause the alternator to do this I just don't want to replace it and it not be needed. Thank you guys for your help

What model number would I for the 145? Prolly get it at autozone if they have it

So I posted a couple days ago how my truck has a hard time starting up every now and then well the past couple days it is getting worse takes more cranks to get it started but once started the truck was running fine I have a wide band and the afr was the same so im not sure if it was the fuel pump, but at the same time I do think it is the fuel pump because im using the factory fuel pump only with my procharger with 12 psi. The thing that started today is I put my new pulley on went to go up the road and the truck was squealing I look at my batter meter and it is only reading 10 so I thought that was weird because I thought it was suppose to be 14 so I get on the highway and the squealing keeps going so I get off the exit turn around to go home to see whats going on, when I get off the exit to go home at the light the squealing goes away and the battery gauge jumps up to 14 so I was happy thought it was good... well parked at work for 6 hours come out and start the truck and same thing its squealing loud open the hood sounds like its coming from the alternator well I drive for a alittle bit and I stop at a light and the squealing stops and the battery gauge goes back to 14.... Guys I need help what is going on with my truck its like she is falling apart I want to go to the get together on saturday and I still plan to, but I need my truck to be running good anyone have any ideas on what is going on with either issue?????? looked at 10 day forecast not looking good 40% chance of rain on the 17th.

Its not cranking slow it is the original battery its been cold but not too cold not for New England when its started and going its fine. But it doesnt give me a hard everytime I start it just once in awhile.

Past couple days every once awhile its hard to start the truck takes awhile of turning it over till it starts any suggestions on what it could be or is it a sign something going bad?

I have the stock one off my 2003 SS let me know.

the light proable came on because you didnt have the back 02's turned off threw a tune because they are not cats you will need to do this, BUT get the codes checked to make sure nothing else is going on. Also the dipstick just pulls out a oring holds it in dont know why it would break off. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys I cant wait to meet everyone. Yeah at 8psi right now if im at 10mph and start to crack her open they start to spin. My friend is going to put my truck on his car trailer and tow it up im doing this just in case I brake anything I dont want to be stuck. Im going to be running on my stock 20's with stock tires right now my tune dead on thanks to wheatley awesome tuner. Krambo your truck is sick I cant wait to see you run. Oh and my friend gave me this new helmet he just got, but it was to big for him its a Soel I think and it is dot and snell approved.

Yep I have a helmet. Ill have to see I havent gunned it yet off the line all I get are these races on the highway never off the line so I cant wait to see. I want and hoping to run 12.4 or lower not sure though I will be spraying the meth at 8psi im also putting alittle nitro into the mix of methane. I will also be pinning my crank and putting a new gator back belt on so hopefully this will elim. any slippage of the belt and I wheatley is doing a cable tune so we can get her really dialed in. Did some weight reduction to took off hitch assemble spare tire back seat and will be taking off tailgate. So im hoping to pull low 12's do you think that is to far fetched? trying to get my friend with his SRT10 truck to come down and race he went there a couple weeks ago and ran 13.8 pretty conservative I think he has a intake and bigger throttle body.
