  1. Comparing me to a female doesn't give you any more points on your IQ buddy. Again, your childish high-school remarks won't get you far.
  2. I will not lose any sleep over education a poorly misinformed individual is receiving. I suddenly am way off topic once you have been proven to be absolutely brainless. Yes, you participate in misinforming people this whole time and when you are corrected its "get your panties out of your ass crack." Ahh I bet that that little comment made you feel so much better and so much more intelligent. Sounds like you are in high school, enjoy it while you can until you get into the real world, I don't think your snappy teenage comments will get you a real career. Goodbye!
  3. So your opinion of being mindful among cold weather would be influenced why? I am sure there is a reason. Its not getting into an argument, you have a reason for saying it so why not explain?
  4. God that would be great for WICKEDOWSIX and idahoBLKss, because I don't think either of them have gotten past grade school let alone higher education levels! Coloring books would be better for the forums, it would keep uneducated individuals occupied if not learning before they decide to input their mindless opinions on here!!
  5. Oh why would he do that SuperSlowSS? Why would he be mindful? Everyone is doing it and there is no point to it as the super-genius WICKEDOWSIX says. AND ITS FREE!! He sounds so logical and intelligent, maybe you can help out why it might not be a good idea!
  6. Einstein? Okay, I like nicknames. How do you like, Forrest Gump? Ok Forrest. Let me break this down for you. The vehicle cannot drive if: It has no form of energy to move. (I.E. if you have no operating throttle body) It has no form of transferring the energy. (No transmission, axles) It needs to have operating brakes for the vehicle to drive, otherwise it cannot stop. Now the functionality and reliability OF its functionality is not determined by a defroster that was not used for many years and substituted for a window scraper for ice, and a rag for fogged up windows. As well as windshield wipers was not standard on vehicles until 1916 and people at the time did fine without it. Why? Because it has nothing to do with the drive ability, functionality, and reliability of a vehicle. You would call defroster/defogger, wiper blades, wiper motors as a convenience. Have you been to a drag strip? Have you seen a real race car. Gutted to its base needs, they don't have defroster/defogger, wiper blades, wiper motors, or electronic seat motors. They work using a vehicles drive ability needs. Have you noticed that? Wow, what a concept. Now when GM designs a new top of the line vehicle, they assume mentally challenged morons aren't beating on their car windshield saying they can't drive because their window motor doesn't operate (I.E...you). Rather they are concerned about someone actually driving their car and it functioning properly to drive. THAT IS WHY THAT IS DESIGNED THAT WAY. Wow, another new concept to you, things are usually designed for a reason. Especially when tens of thousands of dollars are being invested into production of coolant passages through your throttle body that you are removing because you think its useless. Just think, why the **** would that be there? Honestly, WICKEDOWSIX, what do you do for a living? I am very curious. What is your education background?
  7. I can see now you are mentally challenged. Are window motors, seat motors, and windshield wiper motors essential for reliability and DRIVING your truck??? No you stupid ****, no. RELIABILITY is DRIVING your vehicle, operating it as it should be operated. Can you drive your truck with no throttle body? Hell no. Hell ****in no. So what use is a damn vehicle if you can't drive it? The last time I checked you can drive a vehicle without window/seat/wiper motors, in fact, I do all the time!!!! You lubricate, maintain, and prevent drive-ability issues to your engine, transmission and drive axles. Do you lubricate your tracks on your seat, your wiper assembly, window tracks? HELL NO. WHY? THINK! Use your brain, God gave it to you for a reason. Like I said before, the engineers that have three times the IQ as yourself are being paid insane salaries because they know how to design vehicles. You don't. So shut the **** up and get a ****ing education. But never think you'll become an engineer, the least everyone can hope is that you no longer will waste a human body on this earth any longer. At the least, be somewhat sensible. There is weatherstripping in a vehicle to prevent the environments weather from entering the cabin, so it will keep an excess of moisture out of the cabin preventing interior freezing. Have you ever experienced frost in the morning? Have you noticed there is no weatherstripping sealing your engine compartment from the elements. Moisture collects around everything in your engine compartment much more than it would in your interior.
  8. .... Well, if you know anything about electricity, (which by the way you have a drive-by-wire throttle body [electric]) that temperature effects resistance. That would be called the Temperature Coefficient of Electrical Resistance. The colder it is, the more resistance it creates. Now if you freeze an electrical component to a certain temperature, it will not operate. No, I am not talking about 0 degrees like your freezer, I am talking 20 degrees below zero. Now I assume I am not talking to such an uneducated individual that you wouldn't have the brilliant idea to put your computer in your freezer now would you? I think not. With too much resistance nothing can operate, especially an electric motor which will create too much electrical resistance from the temperature and mechanical resistance from the frozen electric motor. Here, let me help you out. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=temperature+coefficie...cal+resistance+ Now do you know what humidity is? It is the ratio of water vapor in the air. So yes, anything can freeze because there is such a thing as humidity. Water gets in, or around everything whether you like it or not. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=humidity Let me ask you, WHY would GM provide engineering, resources, and spend all the extra time, effort and money, designing something that you, WICKEDOWSIX think is so unnecessary? You know what, the engineers that are paid for their superior knowledge that understand the concepts of electricity, humidity, and electric motors are probably all wrong. You are probably a damn genius am I right?? Yes, of course. Because your lack of knowledge and plentiful ignorance the time and effort of something worthwhile to make GMs vehicles more reliable than something you could ever design or fathom is meaningless.
  9. I fail to see why you think GM had their head up their ass. Why don't you elaborate so you can actually get an educated opinion and not some jokes that think they can determine quality of a vehicle based on absolutely nothing.
  10. Doing it when you see 20 degree below zero weather your throttle body freezes, then you can't drive the truck makes the modification a little pointless. If its a daily driver reliability might be a concern. GM designed it that way for a reason... Not so you get warm air in the throttle body specifically for you to lose horsepower and fuel mileage. Only for every single owner of a GM vehicle to have to modify the throttle body like it was peeling off the window sticker on your brand new vehicle or simple required vehicle maintenance.
  11. I have the McGaughys 2/4 drop kit with the torsion bars loosened up an inch for total of 3/4 drop. I have not had any problems with the kit but lemme tell you the ride is super super stiff and is extremely hard on bumps/potholes. It turns like a champ and it feels like the center of gravity is where it should be. I love feeling like I could turn at super high speeds for a pickup and have little to no body roll. But for daily driving its really hard and stiff as hell. So in my opinion, its up to you. Do you like the look of being lowered and feeling like you are driving a NASCAR truck and having exceptional handling capability, or do you like the truck riding like a Cadillac!? I guess it all depends...but what did you buy a super sport for anyways if you're not gonna have fun!?
  12. I have seen a lot of people do them and not very noticeable gains, but probably minimal on paper. I see you're from orange county, california. GM designed that particularly for the electronic throttle bodies so they will not freeze in cold weather. I would do it regardless of minimal gains or not. You might get a few ponies but you will improve other areas as well such as fuel mileage, better burn denser (colder) air.
  13. It doesn't matter if it is high beams or low beams. The flickering is caused by the ballast shorting. Usually a trash ballast or a wiring problem.
  14. I have the drilled slotted and vented rotors off of ebay and scorched ceramic pads off of ebay and I like them very much, a bit squeaky but all ceramic pads are.
  15. Never personally but have replaced quite a few on others vehicles! Its messy!
  16. Wow I have HID low & high beams and that never happens. Sounds like that ballast is trash or whoever making those kits makes trashy products. Ballasts should never take that much load, thats why they are ballasts...
  17. Sounds to me like its a stuck converter clutch control valve. But do a stall test on your truck just in case. If it is stalling too low or too high speeds then your torque converter needs replacement. It is having the same problem without the harness plugged in and if I were a bettin man I would bet on either of those two.
  18. Ok this retard is full of shit first of all I did not say $100, I'm looking at the text right here. I quote from my text. " Ok. Well my two concerns is Zippy's 2800 S TC is $300 and I can return it if it isn't what he says it is. And buying from a third party if its not a 2800 stall I'm screwed. Second, I am on a budget and have $150 to spend. Do you have any pictures or verification in paperwork it is what you say it is?" (By the way we haven't even talked about shipping so were talking $200. Not $100.) This guy is a moron and if you have any sensibility let me help you out on MUCH MUCH better deals on torque converters than this piece of shit. http://www.zippyperformance.com/id2.html - $300 2800 stall http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GM-4L65E-LS...=item414bde17b9 $200 2800 stall http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GM-4L65E-20...=item3a5217fe74 $130 2800 stall This guy is a joke buy something worthwhile and don't deal with a prick. Anyone else is less of a ripoff save your time, it is probably not what he says it is, he lied about the offer so I am sure he will lie about more as well.
  19. The term you are looking for is Power Adder. 10:1-12:1
  20. Yea...a few times. Rather not share as to why.
  21. Bump for a total dickhead. Inquired about the TC and kindly told him I could not afford what he is asking, and I quote. me "I know. That's all I have now and at the point I was looking the buy a TC, Zippy has a 2800 for $300. Good luck on the sale, thanks" twiztidss "I am not the one with an Ss And no money got a job and move out of your parents house" For anyone that is interested in this Torque Converter, Zippy has a 2800 Stall Torque Converter for $300 (shipped after core) don't waste the extra money and deal with an ****.
  22. I think everyone can see the uneducated party in this discussion. My work is done.
  23. If you don't like the styling thats youre own thing. But you are losing horsepower because its a completely different engine, manuals come with LS3 and automatics are L99, not much of a joke and I'm all for clownin around . Well when people in the motorsports industry talk about horsepower/cubic inch ratio they compare weight and cost. The Camaro weighs less and costs less. So...theres not much comparison. But if youre buying a car only for its looks, do what you want. I was figuring you were buying it for the power considering you brought it up because of the 5.0L, which would still make the Camaro a better buy.
  24. Oh I might make it to a track when I'm old enough to see for myself? Yea I guess running in a True Street 275/60 drag radial class for 4 years I must have no experience racing, and I must know nothing considering I'm a Wyotech graduate that Aced everything from automotive technology to motorsports chassis fabrication. Graduated from engine rebuilding classes at community college when I was 15 years old. Been schooling since then until I graduated. Yup, you must know a lot more than I do buddy. Like I said, me along with every other professional must be wrong and you're right. I'm sure you have plenty more experience and knowledge than I do, I'll let you live in your own little world Mr. Force.
