  1. So as many of you know, I am selling my SSS. Since my new toy has already arrived, I had to move my SSS out of the garage. Rather than just putting it in my driveway or on the road beside my house I figured I would put it on the lemon lot on base. At least this way more people would see it and maybe someone would jump on it. I've been stopping by the lot daily to check on it and start it up. When I stopped by there yesterday, I noticed that somebody stole my tail lights. I mean seriously, who does that? And when they took them they cut the wire harneses with wire cutters, so now I have to replace those too at $42 per. Luckily, they at least did a clean job, they didn't do any damage to the truck at all otherwise. Just ticks me off. This is the first time I have had to keep my truck outside and somebody had to mess with it. It's gonna cost me over $400 to replace both lights and both harnesses. People really piss me off! Ok, I'm done.
  2. Just lowered my price to $22,500.
  3. Thanks for the complement Jason. I just lowered the price to $22,500. Somebody come pick this thing up!
  4. I may have exactly what you are looking for. See my link. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/82410-fs-06-victory-red-sss-low-miles/ I'm in Pensacola FL, but totally willing and able to meet you in Baton Rouge if you are seriously interested. Let me know if you need any additional info, my phone number is on the ad. The truck is also listed on cars.com and autotrader.
  5. I definitely would like to keep it. I really need the room though to start building my airplane. Plus I will need the cash for a motor, instruments, and a radio. Anyway, it's still available if anyone was wondering.
  6. I really appreciate all the compliments guys. This is one of the hardest things I have had do to in a long time and you guys are making it a little bit easier for me. I have just posted the truck up on cars.com. The carfax report is available there if anyone wishes to check it out. Here is the link. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?listingId=120308577
  7. Thanks guys. It has been a blast to own such a vehicle. I have many fond memories of this truck and I have met some great people from this site. I will be very sad when it leaves but I look forward to the next chapter in my life.
  8. I guess I forgot to say it, but I did post a a pic of the odometer. Truck has 44,494 miles on it.
  9. Well, I never thought this day would come. I special ordered my 06 SSS back in December of 05, received it in May/June 06, and it has been my pride and joy ever since. The truck was my DD for about 2.5 years, then it was professionally stored for a little over 3 years when I was stationed overseas. It was started and moved regularly during that time. When I came back to the U.S. in early 2011, I picked up a Colorado for my new DD and have driven the SSS to work once every week or two (weather dependant). There is absolutely nothing wrong with this truck. The only reason I am selling it is because I have decided to start another project which will require space and money. I came to the realization long ago that there was not another car, truck, motorcycle, or boat that I would ever sell this truck for. Well, then the idea about building an airplane came along. I just put a deposit down on a Rans S-16 Shekari kit. The build should keep me busy for a little over the next year or so. Another reason for selling is that everything I really wanted to do to the truck (LS7 swap, 4L80 swap, AWD conversion, etc) was going to cost me more than the truck is worth, and I just cannot justify spending that kind of money on something that I would not be able to ever recoup my investment. This truck has been very loved and very well taken care of but it has the usual signs of light use any reasonable person would expect including very minor chips on front of hood from rocks and the bed has a few light scratches in it (yes it was used to move my stuff across the country a few times). The truck has been involved in two minor fender benders in its life, the first one, I backed into my neighbors fence (broke passenger side rear cladding and put small dent in truck below the cladding, dent was popped out, cladding was replaced, good as new), the second one, some drunk lady side swiped the driver side, (scratched driver side from tail light to middle of drivers door and broke off driver's mirror, scratch buffed right out, mirror replaced, good as new). The interior is nearly mint condition. I have every receipt from every oil change/maintenance/mod/upgrade/everything ever done to the truck. Oil has been changed using Mobile One synthetic every 5k or 6 months since new. I have never had a single issue with this truck. Ever. It has never broken down, failed to start, made a weird sound, smelt funny, anything. It has been a great truck. The sticker (which I still have) price for my truck was $38,500. KBB has this truck at $24,330 for excellent condition, and $23,780 for very good condition. See below link. http://www.kbb.com/chevrolet/silverado-1500-extended-cab/2006-chevrolet-silverado-1500-extended-cab/ss-pickup-4d-6-1-2-ft/?vehicleid=347829&intent=trade-in-sell&options=4071957|true|4071995|true|4072004|true|4072005|true|4072056|true|4072044|true|4072042|true|4072045|true&mileage=44500&pricetype=private-party#survey I would say this truck is easily in very good condition, so I will list it for $21,500. The truck is perfect as is, or a great truck with an unmolested motor for someone to use as a project truck. Also with the sale I will throw in the factory bumper, factory spindles, factory Chevy emblem, SS flood lights, and a few other odds and ends. I have a few other pics in my gallery if you wish to look there. If any of you know Travis on the site (02 WS6 TA), he and a few other members saw my truck at a meet in Destin and I'm sure any of them would vouch for it. Also, here is a link to some clips of my exhaust. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/76746-exhaust-clips-pacesetterflowmaster/ I am not interested in any trades, except your cash for my truck, so don't ask. I am also not interested in selling any part off of my truck, so don't ask. Reasonable offers will be considered. Unreasonable offers will be ignored, so don't waste your time. CarFax can be done at your expense if you are interested. Or it can be viewed on my ad on cars.com at this link. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?listingId=120308577 Also, truck can be brought to a local mechanic for examination at your expense if interested. If you are interested you can PM me, or text or call me at (two two five)two seven six - three seven seven six. Be reasonable, don't call or text late. I do not use voicemail, if I miss your call, text me. It is a real SS, so most of you already know the standard features, but I will list the options I added below: -Sunroof -6-disk in dash CD changer -Premium Bose -Digital AC controls -Dual heated/power/leather seats -Tow package This truck has been meticulously maintained and modestly modded to the way the truck should have come from the factory. Mods are listed below: -Painted drums and calipers -Undercoated inside of wheel wells -22" Factory Replica wheels (no curb rash at all) -Goodyear Fortera 285/45R22 (6,000 miles since new) -2/4 drop (hangers/shackles rear, spindles front), plus drop keys -Antenna delete mod -Amber delete on headlights and bumperlights -Chrome Chevy emblem -Tinted windows plus tint strip -BSER roll pan with lighted plate holder -K&N cold air intake -ASP underdrive pulleys -160 t-stat -MSD plug wires -Dyno tuned to (350 RWHP) -B&M shift kit plus servos -Pacesetter LT headers coated -Cat delete -Magnaflow X-pipe -2X Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers -3" full custom exhaust all the way back to 3.5" Magnaflow rolled tips I think I have covered everything. Let me know if anyone has any questions.
  10. Theoretically, you may be able to adjust your cladding to make it fit right. I would imagine it would still require some minor fitment though.
  11. I can't figure out what it is??? Your business sign??? You gonna convert to a different lug pattern?
  12. You need to tell me where to get one of those money trees you seem to have growing over there. Seriously man. You seem to always be selling some super nice stuff.
  13. I believe I moved back here in 4/11, so 2 years. This is my second time here, but last time was in late 05 early 06. Wish you were still here man. Been trying to find some fellow truck enthusiasts around here.
  14. I think thats a little too big for a sport truck. On an Escalade, SUV, or regular dropped full size truck its fine. I think even 24"s are pushing it for an SSS though. Anyway, its a hell of a deal. Just flip them. Regardless, post some pics if you pull the trigger on the deal.
  15. That's funny. I just saw that commercial a few minutes ago and noticed the wheels.
  16. I love my 22" SSS reps, but a very close second choice would be 22" TBSS reps. They look sick!
  17. If you are willing to buy me a Reflexxions Cowl Hood we may be able to work some kind of deal ; )
  18. NP bud. It was fun, wish you coulda been there. There were some really nice cars there. It was great to see a few trucks, I was only expecting to see Travis there but a few other guys showed up as well.
  19. Here's a few I took. Just the trucks. Someone else may have pics of the cars. Enjoy.
  20. Cool man. We should be leaving shortly. I'll text you if I can't find you.
