Hey Asset, just wondering if you ever got around to snapping those pics? Also, did you install the column delete pieces?

I found the column pieces on gmpartsdirect.com you have to look at the w/t. I'm not 100% sure if it's the right parts yet. I'm gonna do more research before I purchase them. Looks like you have to get two parts though, upper and lower. And yes indicator does still work if you do it right.

Asset, is there any way you could take top view and side view pics of your shifter in P, D and 1? I'd like to see the clearance in full forward, full rear and D positions. If it isn't any trouble of course. No big rush either.

Did you lose use of your rear ac/heater vent?

I know there is already a how-to post on this subject but it is from 2008, so I'm looking for some current information. I'm wondering if anyone has done this mod recently? I've been wanting to do it for a while, but I just can't decide if I'm happy with the fitment in the console, length of the shifter and look of the boot. I'd really like to hear some opinions from people who have done this mod. I'd also like to know everybody else's opinion on this mod (why you like it, why you don't like it, would you do it, etc). I know the recommended shifter is the 80680. Has anyone used a different one? I know dozer said that the shorter shifters didn't fit, but I'm considering getting a shorter one and elevating the whole assembly with some sort of homemade bracket in an effort to go as short as possible but still be fully functional and look bads$$. Opinions? Comments? Advice? Thanks in advance.

Yeah man. I'd stick with the 22" reps. I think they are better looking wheels for one, and secondly 26"s are way too big for our trucks.

Design 1 is pretty cool. It would be cooler if the truck was red, and dropped on 22 reps. Shoot, you should just put my truck on the t-shirt. Haha.

That's too specific too soon. You need to just chill. Take it easy, tell her you would like to see her again. Also, there's safety in numbers. If you have some single buddies you need to team up with them. It is hard to not come off creepy when you are prowling around by yourself. Hang out with the guys and work together. Also, have some confidence for God's sake. You should be proud of yourself. You have a good job, you are in shape (from what you said). You have things going for you, they want to see that side of you.

"07 silverado ss front end done rite" ha ha. It's a 03-05 front end. Anyway, it is defenitely different. It could be kind of cool maybe if he changed the paint, and lowered it A LOT.
