  1. I am very interested in doing a setup of Dynatech Supermaxx headers and Corsa exhaust (dont know touring or sport yet). However, I am a big fan of the stock cat back set-up to the point where I would just keep it and bolt up the Supermaxx headers to them. Has anyone done this before? I know the stock muffler is not as free flowing as much as the Corsa, but I believe the stock exhaust is a very well made and I like the tone. Would the stock set-up restrict the Dynatechs? Any input and information is appreaciated
  2. Just did a mothers claybar kit w/ showtime spray and zymol wax on a 330xi bmw earlier today, probably the best combo for over the counter products, it looked great when I took it for a spin afterwards. Show some pics when your done! Ive got a few years on ya, but same b days buddy!

  3. The Intimidator has a lower ride height than the rwd or awd super sport trucks. Wish I could help ya out more. This is from Wikidpedia: [edit] Intimidator SS In 2006, Chevrolet released a special edition Silverado SS under the name "Intimidator SS" (licensed by Dale Earnhardt Inc.) to honor the late Dale Earnhardt. The truck that came with several minor appearance upgrades, a lowered ride height, performance suspension, two-stage multi-leaf springs, Tenneco shocks, a stiffer front stabilizer bar and harder front jounce bumpers, but left the bulk of the truck the same as the regular SS.[3]
  4. I do not know about LG, I imagine they do all have digital controls to "appeal" to the customer but its a suckerpunch. The Bosch front load has turn dials. I guess LG has some issues with their digital controls and suds/water corroding the electrical setup, along with other seperate issues. We got to the point where we were putting in a spat of soap that was the size of a dime and still it was causing problems. I would highly recomend the Bosch, we have many of their products in the kitchen also and they are great (my mom cooks with the chefs on tv and runs her appliances about 14 hours a day) if you want the serial/part number let me know. edit-I also agree with ThePDB that toploads are the best choice to go with for washers.
  5. LG = Bought top of the line washer and dryer from their brand. The washer crapped the bed twice within 6 months and their customer service was absolutely horrible. Fixed it the first time under warranty, but the 2nd time they would not return even when it was still under warranty (the problem was wide known for that specific washer). I have still heard bad stories about their washers to this day. The dryer has performed well though. I will never buy LG ever again. Cant comment for Samsung (their TVs are great) but I know Bosch puts out a great washer (what we replaced the LG with). I would stay away from digital controls also.
  6. Very nice, it looks great. I can only dream of how it performs. I like the black look also.
  7. If your interested in Long Tube headers, you could go that route which include high flow cats (Dynatech Supermaxx and ARH headers). I believe magnaflow sells high flow cats by themselves if you dont want to touch the stock manifolds.
  8. This is a his truck, my fav out of any ss truck. More of a white than silver, but will give you an idea. http://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/image.php?u=91451&type=sigpic&dateline=1252979801
  9. I know Kelley Performance has a two tone, not sure if its the two tone you are looking for though. Once you get it done Id like to drive out west and check your truck out, Id love to hear your Gibson's and see your truck. Your truck is one of the meanest in MA. -Andrew
  10. I am suprised that the guy chose the newer STI over the older ones (01-04ish). The older ones were faster......Id like to see how a Bmw 335ttxi would do against either of those cars. Ricer on ricer hate is funny.
  11. Welcome to the site and club. I use to play RI soccer teams all the time in tournaments in different states. Might be moving down to RI in the next few years, I use to be in Woonsocket alot. As for exhaust I would highly recomend Corsa or Billy Boat (B&B).
  12. I took mine off, for a similar reason GreenMtnSS had. It was also recomended to me by my dealership to get rid of them (it doesnt make sense to go to jail for stealing rims when they could get the whole truck). Even without the "key" you can still take the locking lug nuts off, I saw it in person at the dealership also. Just my .02
  13. looks real clean, get the wheel wells next time.
  14. Good job of getting that sack of shit.
  15. Yup, more than likely that is what they do. If it were just a few SS' I would say its just pick of the choice, but its not. All they have to do is just create a name, or just visit the website. The thing that is even worse now is this site is connected to facebook which makes it even easier to figure out personal info/whereabouts. Facebook alone his its serious issues with ID scammers which is making me think twice about both of these sites. You need a beagle, rottweiller and pitbull. Beagle for the bark (alarm) and rotty and pitt to tear their limbs/face off. I remember my freinds 160lb rotty, thing scared me shitless just looking at it.
  16. The greater Boston area is one of the best selling areas for the Silverado pickup in the country. When the ss truck came out alot headed out towards that area, as the best selling dealerships in the country had first dibbs/shipments on them.
  17. Probably the best pics I have ever seen anywhere of the super sport truck. You KC boys dont mess around. Your details look amazing.
  18. I cant stand this new version honestly, it has deterred me from coming on the site at times, more so than often. Oh well more time to detail the truck and landscaping of the house.
  19. I would show up in person before making any phone calls, then they cannot give you the run around. And if they do not refund you, ring ring the BBB.
  20. That's horrible. Out of any Sss, that would be the one that has the best chance of being a collectible. That is one of the classiest super sport trucks I have seen. My thoughts are with DEISS.
  21. My stock battery lasted 7 years. My neighbor has the 140 alternator and has had the same luck (5-6 years on his battery). He has a GMC Pro Sport (5300 vortec) w/camper package. Obviously some differences with the 3 trucks compared (SS, VHO, Pro Sport), but seems the stock batteries hold up well from my expierence. I hope your recovery goes well.
  22. Very nice. Thats a great meet right their, looks bitchin when you guys/girl were running the highway 3 wide. Other cars must have been intimidated to even try to pass any of you
  23. I could not say it any better. His parents pay for the whole thing, and he does not even mention it in the "Truckin" mag article . "Sickness club," are they serious. That truck needs to be put out of its misery.
