  1. Thank you chris. Ive heard of 3 hit and runs in MA on the news and all were dead, guess the big man has plans for me. Hope to get a get together when my truck is on the road spring/summer. I want to see your drop and hear the touring. That is the one great thing about this site, people care for each other. Its family away from family.
  2. Glad to hear your ok. Just keep up on drs to make sure you dont develop anything. When I was a passenger in a car accident in 1/7/02 I developed bone on bone in 3 discs in my neck (if you start getting migraines, or cracking in your neck that sounds like arthritis call your dr.) Also have a jaw issue called TMJD which was just discovered in 2008 which was caused by the accident (I cant eat subs, burgers, steaks, etc, jello is my best freind). My mom is looking at TBSS' and yours was mint, I wish she could have gotten to it. Just make sure your neck is good, I do not wish the pain/migraines/ days without sleep to anyone, except maybe the guy who hit and run me on xmas eve. Avy is looking mint, cant wait to see what your going to do with it!
  3. Thank you Dan for the concern. I am lucky to be here for sure and only to escape with alot of bruising and hip/back pain which will be looked at. I cannot access my email (comcast is real bad), when I try to open it up I get kicked offline immediately. So I cannot send a new password to my email. I did contact Josh on the facebook SS, I know he is busy (so I am using this 2nd sn right now). Thank you again and yes I am very happy to be back.
  4. I have tried to tell people I know that, but they always think bigger is better. My freinds setup of 8" w7's took a sound competition and people were so surprised. This was back in 03, so Im sure they are better now. Good luck with the install and dont get a ticket for playing the stereo too loud!
  5. Thank you all for the the good words and advice on the batteries. I am thinking Optima, I like it the best, however money might make me go with the Delco. Either way Ill be happy to have the SS running again. Thank you Mike for the concern, I had to change sn's so I never got a chance to read the message. Hope you had a great xmas and new year with your fam! Them Bruins man, their killing my health more than I am! That was one helluva winter classic, dont know how they will make a better one next year. I will send you a PM in the next few days, we should watch a B's game (I can take the commuter rail out), I dont drink but I am ready to hit the bottle after this past month. -A
  6. AFC Jets over Bengals The Dynasty of Brady over the traders NFC Cards over Fudgepackers Philly wins over the use to be "america's team"
  7. I would suggest to go with corsa if your budget allows, selling the magnaflow could help put off some cost. Jmo. Good luck and let us hear a clip when your done!
  8. Hit it dead on the nail their. The older the appliance, the longer itll last. The majority of these new appliances are crap. We had a top load washer that lasted 26 years, not one problem with 3-4 loads a day (my mom wanted a new front load when we renovated so she got one and nothing but nightmares and breakdowns). Those front loads are alot more noisy even with the stands imo. Sounds like a damn helicoptor is taking off (yes their balanced and in closets). Finally found a good Bosch one. We've learned that analog guages/buttons are best, digital guages/buttons are worst. You can even tell on high end appliances the stainless steel is poor quality, I even question if its real stainless. Itll take a few months but it will rust (my mom cooks 12 hours a day, 6 days a week if not more). Had this happen to dishwasher and refrigerator, not cheap products. Not trying to be stuck up, but my mom was good friends with and cooked with Julia Child and Mary Ann Esposito, and they all said/say the same thing "the older the product, the better/longer it will last." I appreciate you willing to help the members here, I might have a question or 2 in the near future about the refacing of the stainless steel. -A
  9. Yup, rabid animal on steroids. I want one for my winter truck. I will be looking into a 2nd vehicle in the next year or 2, just having a hard time deciding between a 2nd SS (would be a DEI SS) or a work truck like the Raptor so I wont have to worry when its mudded out.
  10. hang in their bud. I hear you on BP, I believe mine was around 170/90 when I was hit by the car on xmas eve (4 days after when I went to the ER). Otherwise than your mishap, did you have a chance to tell wether or not your were comfortable after the surgery? My mom needs the same thing done. PM if you want, -A
  11. Its been since November I think(?) since Ive last been on the site, and sure have missed it. Had first hernia surgery 11/23 and first day out of the house was 12/23. Then I was hit by a car walking my dog on Xmas Eve 12/24 (my luck just bleeds purple). Hip and lower back are f'd up, all I know is my surgery, hip and back all hurt and Im on serioues meds. BP was 180ish/80ish. I had a 2nd hernia surgery this monday (1/04) and hanging in their. My surgeon was horrified I still wanted to go through due to the hit and run a week and a few days earlier. Time to man up I said. I have to vent for a second, but if you drive and look at xmas lights at the same time, pull the F*%# over instead. The car that hit me was a 4 door black Honda Civic and they/it was staring at Xmas lights on my neighborhood houses (the sidewalks were not shoveled after we got hit by a snow storm). He hit me, luckily I kicked my beagle aside before he made more devastation, then he drove by me again (cul-de-sac neighborhood), I threw a straight iceball at his rear windshield and nailed it (hoped to break his window so any fixes at a near by body shop/glass repair would be noticed and reported). He stopped after I nailed it (as I saw his brake lights), then took off quickly. . In MA we are required to have front license plates, which he did not have, and his rear plate was covered in sand. Otherwise Iding this jerkoff would have been easy as cake. Karma is waiting for him. Just waiting for my hernia repair to get better and its off to more tests for my hip and back. Just when I thought I was almost done after 4 surgeries in 6 months, more bs. At least I am in one piece and my dog is still with me. My dogs are family, I get along better with them than I do normal people. Good news I hope to get the truck running this spring or summer. My battery died while I was recovering from my first hernia repair (11/23-12/23) so I am looking at the Optima's or another stock AC Delco (my Delco battery last from factory to now so I cant complain about it). I have spoken to a friend/member on here about the battery and pretty much have my mind made up. But any other info on wether to get the Optima or AC Delco, please feel free to write your opinions. Well, I have alot of catching up to do, I saw someone's truck on the cover of a magazine and I must say that truck is sex on wheels. Anything else exciting I missed?
  12. I dont know the exact details of this certain instance/quatrain, but he predicted Saddam's reign in Iraq, him killing his own people with warfare, his own people would turn on him and he would fall from Bush (GB jr. also has a name, I cannot recall). Saddam was refferred to as "Maddas" (Saddam backwards). This was on that history special on Nostradamus also.

  14. ^^^^x2. Too many thieves prowling now, be carefull. Welcome to the group!
  15. Anyone have a sound clip of the Borla on the SS? I have heard these on Jeep Grand Cherokee's and like them, just curious to see how they are on a GM 6.0 motor Im checking youtube for a clip and will post. those are TD's like stated in the info part and not single pipe like GMPP is selling. Sounds great NashSS.
  16. I think he is very interesting and controversial. Yes he was vauge, however with all the events in history that he has mentioned/predicted its just too strange to say its coincidence imo. I am not one to say he is "the man" to see into the future, but it can only bring more questions. I have not clicked on the link yet, but will after this post. I want to see his prediction for 2012 and we'll see what happens 12/21/2012 and 4/13/2013
  17. I would also like to thank them. I would love to serve this country however my health and injuries does not permit it. Thank you servicemen and woman
  18. I agree, you should run your run your chromes during the summer. I run American Racing TT ST 18" for winter, however I dont even take the truck out in rain....... NashSS- I just called my dealerhsip for info parts # on mudflaps and amazingly to my suprise they came out with new ones that are contoured and have the racing logo "3" on them. However, they are only for the rear, you would probably have to go with Putco flaps for the front (I believe Putco countoured flaps are the same as the GM ones). I just ordered my rear flaps PN # 12496983 rear mudflaps w/3 logo
  19. TY Mr. P, I might have to grab one that is a serious deal. Borla correct?
  20. Welcome fellow New Enlgander. I love Maine, thinking of building a house up their.
  21. I would try to go lower than 7500 like stated, bring 4500-5500 cash and maybe you have it. Then you can use that extra 2 grand to buy another DD and then take your time on building that SS into a monster with new motor, tranny etc.

    Help

I have been trying the past 2 days to recover my password and it simply says their is no member under my old name 03maSSS. I had to change internet carriers a few months ago and lost the email I have registered under 03masss. When I tried to apply for a new password, it stated the new password was sent to my old email . I was trying to get into contact with an Administrator by email to have a password sent to my new email, however it still would not work (I have tried about 5 times and it simply says the email cannot be sent). If a moderator or Administrator can help me out with a new password for my 03maSSS name that would be great and then I can delete this 2nd name I just created. Please PM me admins or mods to help me out. Thank you team.
  23. Give him 30 days notice, and throw his stuff out. If something happens, your in trouble for harboring him, and the issue at hand. Plus, the cops will seize your truck as evidence and say you paid for your modifications with drug money. Edit- happy bday
