  1. ^^^^^^^^Step number 1 get that E3 crap out.Go grab some 93 octane if available.Let the results speak.Maybe a fuel filter is due? 03s were the only years with replacable filters but I dont see that being the cause of such a dramatic drop in MPG's....still check out the fuel filter though.
  2. Well since your 2wd compared to others awd their will be different answers. 18x 8.5 inch American Racing Rims TT ST Rims Anthracite with Chrome lip. I havent had these rims at the drag track as I am not reaching to be the fastest do I care. Their perfect though for BBK's and track times.
  3. Im with you, if your truck is not an SS, do not put SS badges on it. GM/Chevy should have only made these emblems available if you have a VIN. Whoa there, so sorry. My bad. 2010 is actually pretty new in my opinion. Ive been since 2008 and feel like a newb still. All the original guys are gone, sold their truck or decide not to come on due to certain reasons which I can see growing. Sorry for the mistake, g/l on replacing the 07.
  4. Im very happy to hear you are doing what you love to do, again. I dont know this info so please excuse my stupidity, C/PP is Production Pickup Class like you stated, what does B/PP class stand for?
  5. Did you ever get his license plate? That could have been related to you truck being stolen. If I remember this being the same member I am thinking of...so many new members. And yes I call shenanigans on these trucks. This one really pisses me off, rcsb with Intimidator SS badges, dark blue truck with chrome 20s or 22s and rugged A/T tires, side step bars (chrome).....He saw me when I first got my SS truck and he then he 1st added SS decals soon after, not badges (2005-07). Then he stepped it up to the Intimidator SS badges within the past year. Im sure all the civics around here and ricers are trying to race and say they beat a Silverdo SS.....oh well let the little kids play....
  6. Wow he is staring hard at the camera, and he's not happy.
  7. I havent seen JF's VR, but Ive seen two other VR's in MA. I think I have seen that same black one heading south on 93 near Quincy/Bridgewater. Were they deep dish rims or somewhat flush with a lip? 22s is my guess...let me know if this sounds similar.
  8. Sorry to see the sale. Just remember the stock sunroofs had issues, so a custom one is best as replacing or fixing the sunroof is pretty costly. GLWS. Please dont take this wrong, but last week I found 4 SS' f/s with 120-150k selling from 14,500 to 12grand. They were being looked at but the used dealership wouldnt drain the front diff for me even offering to pay them labor and parts (fluid obviously). Just keep yours advertised theirs people out their looking for them. I believe 2 of them sold the same week I called that I was inquiring about as a daily driver.
  9. Thats a steal of a price for the mods and the miles! Hows the tranny holding? You might be more worried about beefing that up right now. Those black on silver birch stripes are my favorite, very nice setup. Did you buy that from another member? It looks very familiar...
  10. Similar with mine, it was hidden in New Englands largest Camaro dealer in their basement/storage facility. It was on display next to the vettes but when I put the deposit it was immediately taken to storage, detailed. Then 2 months went and it was detailed again and she came home! And I love your idea of take a w/t and making it into a beast. Sleepers at work.
  11. One reason I joined this site, besides another member. Yes it was Justin's truck but was sold like stated earlier to a member down south. You can notice green smoke coming out of the rear driver side wheel, thats extremely hot temp wise. He was burning that baby like they should have been stock. Love that setup. Been contemplating a similar setup. His drop is unqique also.
  12. Someone did install an air cabin filter, I never saw the post on this site but it was on silveradoss.com on facebook. The guy did mention it being nice cleaner air.....
  13. They have a a couple ideas in mind, he told me over the phone. Im glad to see some interest come up, ARH is watching this thread. And its newer, younger owners with an SS that will be interested, not someone who has already modded their truck. 1Fastbrick I will check it out and chime in or start another thread soon in the VHO section, if you guys allow me into your area of the club Blown346, they are very interested in this project. We have a month set aside to do this. It seems this project must be designed with the VHO, SS and L92 engine in mind. The ASSet, I do not know much about the piping, but that will be helpful. I will bring it up with them, they have a specific setup in mind with a couple ideas I suggested like true duals or just a muffler etc. If either of you two guys have any ideas or other input, please add.
  14. The Bruins championship hats were made in Bangladesh and they fall apart in a matter of weeks. On my 5th one since they won last year, and 2 stored away for memoribillia. You think they would at least make it in Canada eh?
  15. Thank you for your opinion, as always! And I dont think you can speak for ARH. I am bringing up the idea of having these cat backs work on the L92 and V-Max trucks, so their is a bigger audience, not just SS trucks.
  16. Last call with this thread, would anyone be interested in an ARH cat back to match up with their LT's? I will be posting next in the V-Max section about this, I am extremely suprised their isnt interest in this, besides blown346 and another member from a thread a couple weeks ago.
  17. He's back!!Its great to see the elders/original owners getting back together for this. Stick around some!
  18. I might have to get 6 now with the color combo Im throwing around, so far heres my count 2 white hats with black SS lettering 2 black hats with white SS lettering 2 black hats with red SS lettering All in the bigger size, cant remember if it was M or L, or L or XL. Cant wait to these start back up Shaun, Two thumbs up.
  19. Havent heard of this issue since a couple years ago....then again the last time I heard of it was on a 65e almost decapitating someone and most with that hp #'s have the 4L80e. Good luck to your fix and hope it holds bro. edit-I do not know your know your hp #'s to make clear. These trans' are a luck of the draw.
  20. Jealously sucks on that Silverado SS driver. Ive passed so many Silverado SS' in my area they wont even wave. Stuck up youngsters think their ballin hard
  21. 35 on my Ls2's rear and Ls1's front, even though it says 33. Will have to grab some new rubbers in the fall, most likely Pirelli ATR's in front and a nice little worn pair of Ls2's I bought ahwile back wuth not much wear. One thing that has me questioning is that my 330xi requires I believe lower psi in the front and higher psi in the rear. It is an awd vehicle like our trucks but never understood why? Is it due to weight distribition or the stock ride height as its equal, unlike the Z60 with a 1.5 inch rake?
  22. I have noticed the site is much quicker.
  23. trade in worth 10 grand, and the price on the truck came down to $24grand with 33,332 miles and 5 year 100k warranty. Trade in August 2005 for an 03 fully loaded besides Onstar, the one option I do not wish to have.
