Okay, I am mad at myself officially. I new the Americana Wax was the best. Never pulled the trigger and just got Nu-Finish. I think these may do me better. Just need to find a detailer that uses Adam's. I love to detail myself (by hand) but cannot for a while, my spine took a vacation without me!
I spent 25 a bottle on the last wax I bought, I have some friends and others wanting me to detail their vehicles after looking the detail I did to a family members 3 series w/otc products. I need to use the best products simply put and stop screwing around.
Art, that red looks amazing. I may detail a red Chevelle SS custom 454, I did not read this thread 100% over, but I may be in touch about products used (polishes, glazes, sealants, waxes). Our beautiful vehicles over pain anyday.

Glad to see you using it as a truck man! I loaded a drag racing mo-mo-bile in heavy snow to bring back to my buddies house. Will never do it again but have to use these trucks once in awhile for different purposes. When we got hardwood floors the z71 was hard at work, thats where I draw the line (possible damage to the truck). I need to PM you for some crazy security stuff. Other SS owners near me want the same after a certain incident.
Sweet looking truck man.

BSer's should not be tolerated.

Im also interested in the rear bumper and brackets.

Alan and I would like the complete front bumper please, air ducts, everything.

Nu-Finish. I have not tried Adams or Zaino, but it has wiped Zymol and every other store bought product I have ever used off the map. Protects the paint and brings out a great polish. I do 3 coats (on top of other select products) and lasts me about all spring, summer, fall. Winter is a different beast.

Waiting on a PM, would love some parts of this one.

Congratulations Chris!

About how much would you guess the truck weighs when all said and done? Just curious about the power/weight ratio. I remember Lamana's awd burner, and this is the first vehicle that comes to mind. Keep up the great work.

Seems like a fun spot to be Garrell! I absolutely love your truck, I am not a murdered out fan but with the red I dig it.
Something similar happened to me within the past month (meeting someone) and I will just say I am surrounded by custom vettes and a low milage SSS. His first response when seeing my truck "those things are too damn slow" while taking pictures of it near a Caboose.

I just went with the SSBC slotted replacement rotors and new acDelco pads. Less than 500$ and they work great.
I should have went with these brakes no question, all new brakes (except Motul brake fluid) at my dealer was just over $400.

Very tasteful trucks right their. Love them both for their individualality (color, rims, etc). Amazing job to you both!
-
Glad to hear you kept it, would love to see you run it and grab the new 1/4 mile record time.

Also make sure to park within view of 2 seperate companies cctv's. The restaurant owner would not let me see his tapes (he was in on the job) but the restaurant next door (that likes me a lot) showed me their cctv's and confirmed what I had thought. They wanted money, not the truck.
Blown ss/t I need to be in contact as this is a new venture I want to do.

Holy radiator. Keep up the great work.
If anyone had 14inch brakes near me I could check for ya on the 18s fitment...
Random info though, the 13inch rotors up front (rwd SSS) fit 17s (spare).

Very sorry to hear this, I hate these situations.
Dogs due help but with my situation she was fed treats (she is a trained hunter and security dog from GA).

Bmx (DK) and Cannondale ("Beast of the East, "Best of the West") for bicycles...Never rode street bike trials but my freind did. Now he has a kid and won't do it for safety concerns.

Those center caps are saweet! I like how they are not flat, fits in great with the rim.
I just hope those rims do not become a mirror for woman to do their hair! Ive caught 2 or 3 females recently looking at themselves from my paint and I just stood their.

Personally, M1 or Amsoil. Then if I ever changed it would be to Amsoil. Just went through this whole service replacing every single fluid and filter.
Tranny and T-case liquid was swapped out for the same stuff I ran when I had fluids changed in 07.

Welcome back, I saw some pictures here the other day of the old VR you had, such mint paint! I have to say 18k is also above what I would pay but with everything you like on it cannot go wrong and driving it home. Their was a black 03 f/s just under 20k miles.
Edit-Also found a VR 04 w/22k miles down the street from me. "Truck is too damn slow" he says (it is f/s). But he has enough vettes...

I will also add bmws are good from the starts, nothing special but not bad N/A wise (my truck will keep up). Personally the N/A are my choice, those Euros have some great giddy up at high speeds even with the awd. The old 97-98 M3's are impressive when it comes to tuning before they tweaked the engines/computers and they became a PITA to tune, and the power to weight ratio is amazing.

Had plans with the family to go. Back surgeons highly advised me never to go due to damage, thought I could prove them wrong.
Really makes me mad I cannot go as this is the one seems to be the cake, and was also healthy a month ago . I hope to see you all soon at an Atlantic coast meeting or LVD (if it is continued).
