Very true with the issues, my boss owned a chevy dealership since he was 19 and sold it 10 years ago. He went straight to Ford, they have their problem but with proper maintenance they will be fine such as plugging the battery into a heater to keep the engine cool and you will have no go plug problems. Little things like that people ignore and their truck goes to shit. Sorry to hear of your troubles buddy with the F-250. I just know we got T-boned about 3 times and that truck could still tear apart my SS into pieces no question.

is that a silverado ss pictured? Go to the touring and sport page and you will see a SS pictued not a 5.3 z-71. Call them up and ask is all i can say, i dont want to start an argument.

I trust the Corsa website overr Autoanything...... edit-not for price, but for correct parts on which the Db series belongs on. You can even call Corsa, they dont recomend the Db on the VHO/LQ9 engine.

my buddies Ford Explorer was the vehicle I was passenger in during the wreck. I would only purchase a Ford Diesel, things are tanks. What I use to plow with also. Not the new ones though, the 05s or 04s were mean machines. F-250 6.0L Powerstroke.

Just to let you know that is for the 5300 Vortec. That is why when you look up the SS exhaust systems, a Z-71 shows up on the page of the Db series and on the Sport and Touring pages they have an SS pictured. It is made in the same factory and evertyhing, same materials same quality.

on his signature Zippy it says its a S/C 5.3, which I am also assuming he is supercharged 5300 vortec

Stock plugs and stock wires, they fit best and Ive seen and read about too many problems with both MSD and Taylor wires. Unless you were heavily modified go with the other wires, but just stay stock. The stock setup is a great setup and more durable than the other companies imo. I believe the plug numbers are 41-110, the originals were 41-985 but were superceded by the 41-110 or 41-111 plug. edit-what is your maintenance history? Did you do all liquids at 50k (tranny, diffs, t-case, coolant, brake fluid)? Add some seafoam and clean that carbon out.

I dont even consider them trucks, more like a Geo Prizm without a hatch for the trunk. However change the pulley on them and Ive heard you get some pretty darn good results. My favorite video is seeing a Quad Cab Ram Srt-10 blow the doors off a Lightning. Priceless.
