I have a set of LS2 style injectors for sale. They are injector dynamics ID1000.. they come with the plugs aswell. I paid over $900, they've been on the truck for about a yr only 6k miles on them. Went back to stick so I don't need them. I'm trying to upload pics but it's not letting me file is too big

These still for sale?? Do they plug into factory harness or other??... and are these 42lb injectors?

Ahhh yes the gear I said works for the 246 tcase with auto trac selectable 4wdThat won't won't work for the 149 t case. That part is custom and I think Time2Kill is the only source.

Just thought it would be trick to just hit a button to up shift or downshift

Is there? Or anyone that knows if it's possible to put a tap shift gear selected on our trucks? Just curious, instead of manually going up or down on the lever..I know fleece performance makes one to adapt a 01-05 5 speed Allison to tap dhift.. just wondering if it's possible to adapt our trucks

12547998 is the gear you need... well it's the one I used for the NP246 transfercaseWhat is the part number for the adapter to bolt up our t-case to the 80e anyone know? If we get that OEM adapter is it possible to have a dealer instal a 80e input shaft in the t-case? Trying to get my hands in a time2kill shaft now... Anyone have one to sell?????

code
in PCM Tuning
Buy a new one at dealership, run a new filter... mine got clogged from the dirt... fixed my issue when I had that code

The longer one is my factory 70e dipstick and the shorter one is the 80e I bought from PATC...You'll need the tube for the 80e only - the tube from the 60 won't work on the 80. The stick for the 60 and 80 are the same part number from 2001 and newer
-
Okay cool thank you... I was able to find these ones in -6 for 4l80The newer trans I used factory 80e lines with factory fittings into the housing. The -6 fittings for the earlier trans were supplied by FLT
Rather than the 4l60e ones that I have a much shorter and the rear fitting needed to be longer
Hopefully wed I'll be doing the 80e swap in the driveway haha

Okay cool thank you...I'll have to drop the pan and mark the stick properly. My trans will hopefully be done tomorrow... then install and time for new shafts to be made and tuneYou'll need the tube for the 80e only - the tube from the 60 won't work on the 80. The stick for the 60 and 80 are the same part number from 2001 and newer

I'm kinda glad I seen this before I ordered a NW 102 tb.... I plan on running about 14psi on my ls3 tvs2300 for the 408ci ..... I Def don't want it slamming shut under high boostI'm pretty sure the NW uses the LS3 motor and I've heard some do have that issue, sorry to hear yours is one of them Eddie. I took my LS2 90 off and shipped it to TPIS last weekend. They use your LS2 motor and are supposedly guaranteed to work under high boost applications. You may want to look into that as well.

Okay thank you... I bought a 4l80 dipstick tube and dipstick ($49 from PATC) I was gonna run that but if my stock one will work I'll just do thatJust use the dipstick from your old 60 and pick up a tube, part number 15832205, then follow the instructions I posted above...just mark your stick to the proper level, then fill to the mark.
-
Damn that sucks.... so question is which tube and dipstick do I need??.. I don't want this trans ****ing up... or I'm driving it off a cliff(3 transmissions in 1 year) .....sucks to see this happen to you... hopefully mine will hold my 408 tvs2300 ls3 style....
-
Which dipstick is which??.. mine is the straight one.. not the round tip one... before I install mine I want to make sure..I have 97+ 80eMystery solved - at my own expense of course! Chuck from FLT suggested the pre '97 80e but failed to tell me the dipstick was a different part number. Just came in today from Chevy - a special order.
Note the witness mark I made last weekend after pulling the pan and marking the correct fluid level on my old 80e dipstick
The pn I have on mine is 15687193

I'm gonna be running alto reds, billet shafts (input and intermediate), 36 element intermediate sprag drum and the billet intermediate pressure plate, and forward clutch hub 4340 alloy .....hopefully it will hold together
Along with my 408 and ls3 tvs2300 with cog gears. ... hopefully make good power

Ahhh yah now I hear the lil slip... I figured that's how you or zippy tuned it....and at :42 is exactly what I was talking about.... my circle d didn't skip a beat when it locked.. made it actually goes faster .....That's the converter locking up your hearing AFTER the 1-2 shift (:42 into the vid)...that's normal. Listen to how the truck sort of "slides" into second gear at :40 when it should have been a crisp clean shift.
-
Is this why the truck sputtered a lil bit at like 4500-5500ish area ... if you get what I'm trying to say lol I heard in the videos 2nd gear toward high rpm it sputtered a slip second ...I hope you figure it out as I'm doing the 80 swap soon
