A guy Is building me a 80 retired old timer, owned a transmission shop for 35yrs has work on a lot of 80s over his time, fully built, shafts, 36 sprag element, clutches, bands, etc..... engine 408, scat forged crank, mahle forged rods, Ross forged pistons, trick flow LS3 ported polished heads, and tvs2300, maybe some method also....it will all be studded, ATI 8rib kit, looking to get around 700-800rwhp....you know, nothing too much ha ha ha

Same converter I bought... I copied L8ERBRO converter to the T lol...it's waiting for my Trans still lol.... love the build you did a good job

I need mine reset.... only because I'm putting a new engine, trans, rearend, hubs, everything..... so I want it to say 0mi or 000000mi lolI asked Steve what was the price to reset my odometer while he's in there.... He said "only a few years in prison".

Nice... yah my switches were wore out kinda and leather getting thin at 12 o'clock position.. figured I needed a new one, plus I did escalade dash swap and wanted new wheel lolNot bad... Ill probably just pry the controls out and replace them that way. I just got a TBSS wheel not too long ago.

I have blue needles right now in my escalade cluster... white led would look good... I just want all the lights to match... plus I just bought a new steering wheel with new controls

Whats the price for a white led swap.... i have a crew cab LT3 interior.... seat heater buttons, window, door, auto climate, steering wheel controls etc...i like the LED itll match my pillar pod nicely

Only reason im not switching is cause of hot spots... unless steves has no hot spots for leds....

Sweet lord baby jesus....haha i have a 224/230 .586/.605 113lsa with dbl pac springs w/titanium retainers, arp head studs, LS9 gaskets, ARH 1 7/8" LTs catless, magnaflow and corsa muffler (mufflershop ****ed me on the magnaflow) built to the wall 4L70e(billet servos, 300m output shaft, Wider bands, smartech input housing w/300m billet shaft, circle d 2800stall tripple disc billet...... next on list is tvs2300 at 10psi if i can.... and see what she will do ha ha i have 132k on the engine

Jesus..... this is exactly how i want my truck....i have a slightly smaller cam and stock 317 heads.... do you know what kind of power your running?.. and you have stock bottom end? My vMAX has 132k miles on it tho haha and a built to the wall 70e.. comparible to a FLT level 7 70e

Its got rebuilt once 2500mi ago and 3-4 let go so idk whats the deal but im trying to get it done

Spline count should be 33..thats what mine are....but I have the 9.5 14 bolt with 6 lug axles from factory with 4.10s and was my DD for 5yrs...I did drum to disc also, you will need new rear brake lines (flexible at the caliper) and new ebrake cables..

Are you able to use these brackets and the z06 calipers on a factory 13" rotor and fit a 17" wheel? Or is there clearence issues??

I have an 06 SSS with a GM sunroof, it has the pullover cover with the little holes. I can't stand the sun coming through, but don't want to tint it either. I have all my windows tinted and windshield so I want so cabin light when I need it. Wondering if anyone has tried putting anything over it or replaced the screen so how?
I got tint on all 5 sides in the 06 HD, and has an aftermarket sunroof with a full screen on it. I like that I'm able to get sunlight in the cabin when needed.
I'm thinking about having some fabric put on the screen lol
Anybody here take it of the screen before?
i have the same issue with my gm sunroof. i HATE the lil holes. i just put 35% tint on it and it still lets plenty of light in(during the day) night time its pretty dard but you can still see stars in the desert.

Hahaha yeh...... but I've wanted to do this to her since I've had it, just never had the funds or job that I could ... now that I do, and i have a 2014 cruze eco as the DD now I can fix her up how she should be treated.... never let me stranded anywhere, even with 3 fried transmissions always got me home under her own power haha.... engine alone is going to be like 13k .....Trans another 3500 haha .... fml but it'll be fast when she's done
