  1. I think it is the one that hooks up all the stuff that was under the seats and in the headliner, and whatever else it went to. I didn't cut anything off of it. Is it the one you need? I can check into it, I know a hood cost me about $150 to ship last time, this is about the same size but lighter, I am guessing it would be similar. I can check into it for sure if you want it. Local, just into town near my store that you stopped at the one day. About 5 miles is all. I can check into shipping costs on it, I was asking $250 for the wheel and tire separate, guessing shipping will be in the neighborhood of $50. Let me know if your still interested.
  2. My old truck is completely stripped now, so everything is off and ready to go that I have left. I am open to trades and offers, I could use a full hydroboost setup, and firearms/ammo are always good. All parts are from a black 2004 Silverado SS with 95,000 miles, I have some other parts available which are pictured in the photobucket link below, just make an offer if you need any of them. Pictures of what I have available: http://s1274.photobucket.com/user/amscholtz/library/Parts%20for%20Sale Local Pickup Parts: Headliner - $100 Stock Silverado SS Wheels Powder Coated Black, the wheels have some chipping along the center caps because people suck at taking care of things when they are working on them. One wheel also has a small scrape that looks like curb rash but I am not sure where it came from since I never curbed any of them. One wheel has a ring around the inside where a caliper bolt came loose and scraped along it, but it was powder coated over and is not real noticeable unless you are looking for it. The wheels have three good Nitto 420S 305/55/R20 tires on them that have plenty of life, the last tire holds air fine but it was torn up some where the bumper got a hold of it and should be replaced. They were only on the truck for about 10000 miles. Also includes one full size SS silver spare with new tire, it has curb rash and scratching but includes the center cap - $1250 Complete rear axle - $500 Shippable stuff: Diamond Chrome Headlights - they are nice lights just not my style - $175 shipped Bose 6 Disc Changer - $100 shipped Bose Front 6.5" Speakers - $60 shipped Auto Meter Lunar Boost Guage with A Pillar it is mounted to - $75 plus shipping GMC Sierra/Yukon Head Lights - $100 shipped 1999-2002 Tail Lights - $75 shipped JLT Performance 2005-2009 Ford Mustang CAI - Tube could use paint - $150 shipped Toyota Tacoma Floor Mats - $50 shipped
  3. I have a basically new one, was on my truck for a couple thousand miles before the front got totaled. Asking $500 plus shipping.
  4. Getting close! Hopefully mine will be going again in a few weeks, have to get custom pistons made for it though which held it up a month. We should get together again after that.
  5. You can get the fans pretty easily off a bunch of newer vehicles, and after that all you need is the wiring harness, a 145 amp or larger alternator, and someone to turn them on in the tune.
  6. I am not sure if he knew, it is definitely possible the shop was the one that lied about it. We have receipts for high end parts and once the motor came apart it shows lots of cheap or stock stuff in it. Gave them the go ahead on the motor earlier, going to be great when done but ponying up that kind of cash is going to hurt.
  7. The rest of the block was torn down and checked out by the machine shop finally. I was lied to by the seller about what parts were in the engine, probably nothing I can do about that now but it sucks being lied to. (edit as I don't want to point fingers without knowing, possibly was the machine shop that lied about what went into it, but it was definitely misrepresented to me.) The block is able to be bored out to 4.20 and Weisco makes a set of pistons for that size. The only thing they need to do yet is sonic test it to make sure it will hold up. The bottom end will be fully blueprinted and have all high quality parts in it, and will come back as a fully assembled short block with a warranty. I will just need to pick out rockers and cam once it is done. Going to be expensive but I don't really want to put my stock 6.0L back into it after coming this far.
  8. I actually need a driver mirror cover if you only end up needing the passenger. Also looking for the brake ducts and did it have an aftermarket hood?
  9. Block is going down to a shop in Kirkland that has experience with the LSX. I got some more info on the heads today. Valve head diameter is 2.15 intake and 1.6 exhaust Intake Runner Size: 268cc Combustion Chamber Size: 75cc CFM is 355 at .650 lift
  10. A little more info that I got today. The block is still good, it will need to be bored .20 over though, it was already ,10 over and had 1 1/2 thousandths of taper on it. The pistons are still good but we need to get a bit bigger ones to fit the new bores. Crank and rods are both good. We are in the process of finding a shop with the capability of boring the block now, our local guy doesn't have the right plate. So that means so far I will need pistons, cam, lifters, and rockers as well as a gasket set.
  11. It is a full kit, I have all brackets and I am including that fender as well it just has some damage. I am flexible on price since now I have to pay for a full motor rebuild, but it is in very good shape and the rear bumper is pretty much new. If you are planning on painting it anyway it might be worth it to get one that is more beat up.
  12. Crank has not been seen yet, still at the machine shop getting checked out, should hopefully know tonight. Intake and combustion chamber we don't have a way to measure, my mechanic is going to measure the valve and then I will call WCCH back and he should be able to tell me, all the record he has shows is that they have custom stainless steel valves and springs and the stage 2 porting. Piston volume we are waiting on the machine shop for as well, they have a pretty large dish so the current guess is -5 to -7 cc but I will verify. Bore and stroke are 4.185 x 4.125 Piston to deck height and compression gasket thickness I am unsure of currently, I will measure the gasket bore next time I am able to get up there.
  13. I have a full black cladding kit with all brackets, the front passenger fender should be replaced though as it got caught by the tire and chewed up some, I also have a rear bumper cover in nearly new condition as it was replaced just before my truck got totaled. I'm asking $1500 for the cladding with all brackets and $500 for the rear cover or the whole bumper if you want it, I'd be willing to split whatever shipping came out to, guessing it would run in the $200-300 range.
  14. The compression I found listed on the ad from when I bought it, that is the only reason I know it. I will get the rest of that info when I can. Gaskets I took a picture of which is below.
  15. I'm not sure on the crank yet, should hopefully know tomorrow. Got some info on the heads from WCCH, they are L92s, 5364 casting number. The had a stage 2 CNC done to them which was machining most but not all of the ports. They don't have a good record of which spring kit was on there, he is guessing it was a Patriot kit but I will have a valve head measured to verify. http://www.proheads.com/WCCH%20L92.html is the page for the L92s. Compression ratio was 9.5:1. The intake is supposedly an L76, will be verifying that next time I am there.
  16. Hone and rings are happening for sure regardless, I am just hoping we won't have to bore it out and get different pistons. There was quite a bit of metal in the oil pan though so who knows, I should hear back soon. The documentation said the engine was 11:1, we are pretty sure based on the stuff in it that it was closer to 9:1 though. I am hoping to get a list of parts that were all in there within the next day or so.
  17. So most of the internals of my engine are trashed, my mechanic suspects it was built wrong and not broke in correctly since it only had 8,000 miles on it. I will know later today if we need to machine the block and get new pistons but so far here is what I know is still usable. Pistons (provided block can be reused as is) Ported West Coast Racing L92 heads H-Beam Rods 7.4 push rods The cam has a big chunk out of it, the rockers are toast, the lifters need replacing with the rockers. I am very new to all of this stuff so I am requesting help from all of you. I know the cam choice dictates the rest of it, and I have done a bit of research on the other parts so far. I am hoping you guys can help me pick out the right stuff so this won't happen again. I am looking for a very reliable street setup, hp numbers don't matter but more is always better of course. Budget is a concern but I am willing to spend more for better stuff if it will make a huge difference provided it's still reliable. I have all the supporting mods for the LSX already installed, including a huge radiator, fuel lines and pump, ect. Please let me know what other specs and parts you would need are on the truck to know how to answer this fully. Thanks everyone for the support, this site has always answered the questions I have had about the two SS trucks I have owned, it has been incredibly helpful to have you guys available.
  18. Is that truion upgrade something I can salvage out of them and reuse or are they complete junk at this point?
  19. Got a chance to get some pictures today, any help identifying parts would be great, I want to have a full record of what is in there before it goes back together. I know so far the heads are L92 based on the casting number. My failed rocker arms, most are seized up to some degree. The covers are ABEAR I believe. L92 West Coast Racing Heads Pistons will be coming out tomorrow. Pushrods, 7.400 4307, hardened chromoly I think, Other side of the heads. Last side of the heads.
  20. No luck from him, I called Harland Sharp and theirs are backordered 3-4 weeks. It looks like I am going to go with Comp for both parts since they are available. Surprisingly Autozone is cheaper than Summit, Jegs, and eBay for both after a coupon. Any opinions on something different I should get that won't break me too much, I'd love to do Jesel or something of that caliber but I don't have that kind of extra cash after all the labor this is going to cost and both of these offer lifetime warranties. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/_/N-8zotd?itemIdentifier=250910_722434_0_ http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/_/N-8zoqc?itemIdentifier=86589_504599_0_
