    Vibration

Well I attempted to put my factories back on, got the from driver wheel off and noticed there was alot of play in my wheel hub....so time to replace that tommorow, also my factories seem to have oversized tires on it and wont even fit on my truck.

Ahh, I didn't think about that. It's lowered around 4/5. I'm going to put my factory wheels back on to fully eliminate the wheels as a problem.
  4. Is that a stock 06 hood or something? I like it....alot. Truck looks sick, lowered look + good ride quality is always a bonus with those bags.

    Vibration

A few months after I got my 22's and lowered my truck I had issues with the truck being too low causing every cv axle on the right side to pop out after the first turn after install. After all that was fixed I noticed my truck would vibrate at around 45mph and 62 mph. At around 45mph it feels more like the transmission stuttering to shift gears, which is the same thing my government vehicle does. At 60 to 62 mph it sometimes vibrates so bad I can litteraly see the bed of my truck shaking in the mirror. While it doesnt do this all the time its was still a nuisance but I left it like this for a while. Yesterday on the way to the dentist I passed a firestone place and on the way out had them balance my rear two wheels which I thought was the problem, he told me one wheel took a lot of weight to balance and he was right....they lined half my wheel with weights, looks like crap. Left out on the high way and now it vibrates more often at 45mph and still at above 60 so Im wondering if this can be caused by something else?
  6. I can guarantee you a laptop that cost 450 dollars will NOT be playing any online games other than chess online.....If its a laptop your looking for, your going to have to step it up if you want one to play games decently. I laptop will always cost more than a desktop of the same performance. your best and cheapest bet is to make it yourself, its not that hard to put together aside from picking the parts out which is simple to do. Are these basic games you want to play or what? Photo editing isnt as demanding as video editing but still a decent CPU is a wise choice.
  7. I'm down here in Ardmore AL side but going to these car shows usually just makes me jealous.
  8. Put key in, backlighting comes on, turn to start. Clunk, lose power. Sad face. Did this several times before it finnaly turned over even once. Hello trouble shooting.

  9. Ahh woman. Mom got a 2011 scion last night and today won't touch it. Fun car to drive though! too bad its purple.

  10. Looking at pics of a 305 tire Im going to say 3 inches up front is fine. Im on 265/40 I think and I used a 3/4 kit and still torqued the keys down more and I still have room. I do rub in the front tho when I turn all the way, but its just rubbing on the mud guards and its not much at all.
  11. Dont expect to play much on that. Gaming revolved around 2 things. CPU and GPU. that 540 isnt going to be playing much of anything if at all on anything on a 1920x1080 or higher resolution meaning anything 17 inch or above. Laptops are definetely not made for gaming in comparison to desktops but I know people have needs for mobility. Alienware makes good gaming computers but they overprice you out the ass. I have an alienware m17x but I only bought it because I got it for 1k through aafes. Laptop gpus, while named the same as desktop counterparts, do not perform anywhere near the counterpart. I'm not sure what your budget is but Id try and find something with a 6970/6990/570/580 gpu in it. 6 gigs of ram or more is fine, the 1333 isnt all that great but you wont really notice it being any slower than something like say 1600. Harddrive isnt going to affect your gaming performance, just the loading times. Most laptops today have the option for a SSD which are nice speedy. Size and weight is also somethign to take into consideration, some 18 inch laptops weight a hefty amount and require rather large backpacks to carry around. If you need anymore info let me know. www.alienware.com www.cyberpowerpc.com www.ibuypower.com www.sagernotebook.com www.xoticpc.com www.originpc.com These are just a few off the top of my head. Dell now owns alienware, the guys who used to do alienware back in the day are now originpc to my knowlege. EDIT: Darkness is correct, any pc will give you as much problems as any other. The selling point is warranty and tech support quality. Ill go ahead and throw it out there that alienware/dell have the worse in the industry when it comes to communication. If you have to call them be prepared to have a translator. Im sure this applied to alot of other companies but this is my experience with them.
  12. There is one other but I forgot his name, started with a P, maybe someone can chime in with a answer.
  13. You talking about the chin spoiler on the bottom? Or one of those that go on the front of the hood. I got my chin spoiler from the dealership for around 60.
  14. Scion FR-S? YES PLEASE. Definetely going to keep my eye on one of these for sub 30k.

so it sounds like your the guy that degrades the true SS camaros and buys the V6 to degrade all the people who truly want a sports car. to all their own have fun with your wanna be 370z lol

No I'm not, because theres a difference in sound between a v6 camaro and a v8 camaro....this is a ricer theres no difference in sound no matter which way I buy it. Theres nothing wrong with a 370z, they look good too but Im looking for something in my price with school coming up and with the gas mileage better than my SS. 370z = 93 octane @ what? 20mpg? 21? Albiet theres no info on the FR-S mileage, I still have hopes for a 4 cyl.

I sat in the BRZ at the washington auto show and it was super disappointing. If I were you, id get an STI.

  15. Yea Im pretty sure mine was from a tahoe, I got it from the failership for like 60 dollars or something. Then I had to make custom brackets out of aluminum to hold it on.
  16. So did my dad, kinda weird. Either way its fixed, accidentally let all the brake fluid drain and it was green, kinda odd color for brake fluid.
  17. Has 580-horsepower, 556 lb.-ft. of torque starting @ 55,000 dollars. Will never see one of those in my driveway unless the toothfairy gets generous.
  18. Up front I did use the 3 inch spindles but no a arms, having my cv axles extended didnt cost me but 35 dollars so im sure it was a lot less money and time involved to fix the problem, the only headache I had was figuring out that it was poping the axle out of the joint because I would have thought it would do that on day 1.....not months and months later, also only one side? weird much. Its all good though, wish I could have it aligned to a T though.
  19. Do not do as suggested above and remove the front cv axles, youll get about half a mile down the road and wonder why your front two wheels just came off. Then youll be replacing wheel hubs and rotos and brakes up front. :]
  20. Used norcals 3/4 drop on 22's, had to use the camber kit to align the truck within factory recommendations but still wasnt quite enough to get it perfect. Lowered it a little more using the keys, had to have both my from cv axes extended because the passenger side kept poping out and busting the whole axle up ( huge headache trying to figure out why it was doing that months after I lowered it ). Ill go take some pictures and post for you guys. Here we go, some old and some new. Best I can do for right now.
  21. Hmm upon testing the back brakes by jacking it up they seem to roll freely, even after starting it and pumping the brakes a few times. Kinda hard at first but they let go, my light is still on and I know it had to be the brake because it was extremely hot that day back at the wheel. Guess I'll have to start troubleshooting again.
  22. So on the way home from the city 2 fridays ago my check engine light came on but I did not notice anything until I got home and got out. My back left brake is locked up, smelt amazing, lots of heat from it. Anyways I was wondering if these calipers are the same as regular non ss trucks of the same model, if not where can I get these things because it doesnt seem like any local parts store has them for SS specifically.
  23. Was a group buy thread under appearance section, dont think anyone got ahold of the bser to go through with it.
