I must be missing something since 6 channels are sold to the public...and the tweeters I was looking at handle more rms than my door speakers, maybe im calling them by the wrong name?

Alright well they are 1.6 inch tweeters but now the only 1.6 inch tweeter I can find is by MB quarts. Does mixing speaker brands do anything weird? Also Im having a ahrd time finding a 6 channel amp to replace my 4 channel so I can have all 6 speakers hooked up to an amp. Would it just be better to find a 2 channel and use it for the 2 tweeters? Headunit only has 3 pre outs and they are all in use so for the 2 tweeters going to a seperate 2 channel amp would i have like a rca that splits into two coming from the front pre outs going to both amps?

To test speakers just take one out and hook the two wires to the back of a regular old boom box and see if it plays. Or try the battery test I think its called where you put the wires on each end of a battery and it should make a sound.

Was going to convert my front to the stock 05 06 front but I cant find any part numbers.

Those look kinda weird, the tin stuff inside doesnt cover as big a area as stock or some of the others ive seen, will these still put out adequate light?

I finnaly got around to rewiring these yesterday and the only way I hear anything from them is litteraly putting my ear against them....I'm going to go ahead and take a guess that this isnt right? If not then I guess its replacement time so are they 1 inch or 1.6 inch tweeters? Id measure but shes in the shop.

Were up to 3.39 regular and 3.60 for premium in most places around here. Last week it was under 3 dollars....lol big jump, makes me super sad faced everytime I look on the dash and see 13.5 AVG MPG.

So I just paid the truck off in under a year but it still put me tight on money with my under age 25 insurance costs but, I'd like to look into a gas saver before prices on them go up due to demand with these gas prices. I'm pretty picky on looks so im not about to be driving a fiesta or such around haha. I'm currently looking for a hard top version of pontiacs solstice but they seem to be few and far between and im wondering if they even exist because I havent seen one....not sure if saturns sky model has a hard top? Kinda like the newer ( but more expensive ) models of VW's GTI, other than that Im not really seeing much and I know I dont have alot of choices since looks + mpg usually dont go together but any other suggestions would be nice.

Doesnt look like a 4 inch drop in the rear to me, but maybe thats just me. Im running 265/40/22's with around a 4/4 drop and I dont have TOO much of an gap inbetween even those. I dont think my stock will even fit anymore. Yours looks good though!

Still contemplating a big brake upgrade but looking at my stock setup im wondering if id have to have spacers for my wheels? If that's something that'd have to be done then its out of the question. Right nowthe caliper is pretty close to the spokes...extending it an inch or two doesn't look feasible but im not sure. Also bigger rotors outside of the initial set are only obtainable from calling the company? Curious of the price of larger ones compared to stock.

Is there specific model number calipers for either baer or brembo or will they all work if you have the brackets for them? I cant even find a store on either brembo or baers site. EDIT: Seems this whole there theres been a forum filter to block out posts over 30 days old..........no wonder I can never find any info, now I see plenty to read up on.

It got ruined from me and my dads learning experience when I was having cv axle problems....we took the cv axle that kept breaking out from the front right....little did we know it held the whole wheel hub together. Drove it up and down the driveway to be safe a few times and then off he went down the road and he never came back called me and when I got there my wheel was at a very bad angle and we had to end up driving her home like that at 5 mph, made the awefullest noise. Im hoping its just the rotor messed up but it might of damaged the caliper. Ive seen the z06 conversion and 3,000 dollars is alot of money and Im assuming baer and brembo kits arent cheap either. Whats so expensive about the kits? I googled for the z06 calipers but all I found was an odd site that said they were around 600ish dollars each. ouch.

Well I measured them and I'm pretty sure the rear were 13 inches and the fronts are 12. If I go about replacing these, since my front right one is completely ruined and the truck doesn't like stopping anymore I should replace them with the same size right? If I was to go bigger id have to have different calipers, brackets and such, also with the truck being so low that might be a problem.

What are the rotor sizes stock? Does 2003 models have rotors or drums in the back? I'm asking because mine has rotors all the way around and they are larger in the back....thought it was suppose to be other way around.

Can you guys post some pictures of your setups or throw some pics out here to help me get an indea of tips I like please. I searched and found a few other threads about this but all the pictures seemed to be expired so they wouldnt load. Im planning on having my exhaust done in the next week or so and the exhaust place I'm having it done at didnt have anything too appealing.

whats wrong with the visors? They look fine on there and on shawnss's truck. If you drop the front drop the back more as well.

If my memory is any better than what I think it is, that looks exactly like the corvette featured in the transformers films and GM has stated it will be not be put into production. Could be wrong tho but I'll have to pop in the blu ray and see.

Just got one, my dealership charged me 65 for it though, kinda pricey for a peice of plastic that cost others 30 to 40. Though that might be because the tahoe one is cheaper, can't see why. Edit: How did you secure it on there? You make some kind of brackets or did you screw it on there?
