  1. "This posting has been deleted by its author. (The title on the listings page will be removed in just a few minutes.)" HAHAHA!! Good Work guys!!! I just tried to look at this fake and saw this message!!
  2. I haven't installed this kit on my now mother's 2004 GMC VHO, as of yet. But there are instructions included. It does show 2 small holes being drilled & one already existing hole being used to retain these shields. I'll get you a frieght est. this evening, because this small box is heavier than it looks (for it's size). -Jon in "76310".
  3. Well, I bought a set for my parent's 2004 VHO. Haven't installed them yet. I have an extra set for sale if anyone is on the fence about getting one. It is GM PN# 15765007. GM List is $99.14 + tax. I'll sell for $60.00 + shipping, which is right a GM dealer cost!! PayPal accepted.... I'm in N.TX.
  4. 2013 GMC Sierra Denali 6.2L Great deals now that the 2014's are popping out & the 2014's will all have stupid AFM system.
  5. I have an extra one of these rare GM Acc'y rear deflector shield kits for sale if anyone on here is interested. These were designed by GM to keep water, dirt, & road debrie out & away from the rear disc brake rotors. So they only fit the 2003-2004 SSS trucks, 2004 GMC & Chevy VHO's, shows to fit all the NBS 1999-2004 GM fullsize 1/2 trucks, and I'd imagine the 2005-2007 "Classic" rear disc brake Vortec Max trucks... Here's a link on Ebay to show some pics of this kit out of the box: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-Performance-15765007-Mud-Flaps-Rear-Thermoplastic-Black-Chevy-Silverado-Pair-/111115549477?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19df00bb25&vxp=mtr#ht_1458wt_1091 And here is an older link on this site where I was talking about them: http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/82753-anyone-seen-used-or-heard-of-these-before/ Well, I bought a set for my parent's 2004 VHO. Haven't installed them yet. I have an extra set for sale if anyone is on the fence about getting one. It is GM PN# 15765007. This kit is brand new in an unopened GM box too!! GM List is $99.14 + tax, but, I'll sell for $60.00 + shipping, which is right a GM dealer cost!! PayPal accepted.... I'm in N.TX.
  6. Barely caught an update on this story lst night, getting ready for bed. Said there was NO foul play invoved in the bodies in that Camaro!! Young driver didn't know area well & was driving to fast?? Lost control & crashed into the lake, and I guess everyone drowned in 12 feet of water!! Without anyone opening a door or getting a window down?? Maybe all 3 were knocked unconsious?? The older, 1950's car said had a different story- But of course, I missed all of that. Still seems odd to me.
  7. I wonder when the "in service date" of your 2006 Silverado Max was? You might can still get them covered un GM warranty!! I'd pay a visit to your local GM dealer with your truck's VIN# & mileage before I shelled out any cash...
  8. Back on topic..... There is no way I believe these 2 cars simply drove off the pier into the lake & all the ocupants drowned to their death (as the local law enforcement have stated). I'd say there was a "Route 66" killer back in the day. These cars/occupants vanished nearly 9 years apart & yet both ended up in the the same lake just feet apart from each other....
  9. In Truckin' magazine, issue before last??
  10. I just noticed a few SSS's that made it into the pages of my FREE Truckin' mag last month. It's in VOL.39 Issue NO.11. PG.42. There is even a silver birch reg cab SSS clone smoking some rubber in this article!!! TOO COOL!!! Was anyone (on this site) in this Bowling Green, KY competition???
  11. I would run the AD in Lubbock, Dallas/Ft.Worth, Houston, & Austin, TX. Goodluck with the sale....
  12. Def need to do something with those door mouldings.... Then, keep on rocking that 'HO!!
  13. I'd recommend ditching the side door mouldings. Or maybe upgrade to the 2006 "LT" painted to match door mouldings....? Lastly, maybe paint those front bumper lower "ducts" silver/gray like the true SSS ducts come??
  14. Two Indians and an Irishman were walking through the woods. All of a sudden one of the Indians ran up a hill to the mouth of a small cave. 'Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!' he called into the cave and listened closely until he heard an answering,'Wooooo! Wooooo! Woooooo! He then tore off his clothes and ran into the cave. The Irishman was puzzled and asked the remaining Indian what it was all about,.'Was the other Indian crazy or what?' The Indian replied, 'No, It is our custom during mating season when Indian men see cave, they holler, 'Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!' into the opening. If they get an answer back, it means there's a beautiful squaw in there waiting for us. Just then they came upon another cave. The second Indian ran up to the cave, stopped, and hollered, 'Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!' Immediately, there was the answer.'Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!' from deep inside. He also tore off his clothes and ran into the opening. The Irishman wandered around in the woods alone for a while, and then spied a third large cave.As he looked in amazement at the size of the huge opening, he was thinking,'Hoo, man! Look at the size of this cave! It is bigger than those the Indians found. There must be some really big, fine women in this cave!' He stood in front of the opening and hollered with all his might'Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!' Like the others, he then heard an answering call, 'WOOOOOOOOO, WOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOO!'With a gleam in his eye and a smile on his face, he raced into the cave, tearing off his clothes as he ran. The following day, the headline of the local newspaper read............... NAKED IRISHMAN RUN OVER BY TRAIN !!!
  15. Have you also tried using the water hose to spray out & clean the condensor/radiator cores? Maybe you have an excess of bugs, leaves, grass in there blocking some air flow??
  16. Like everything but the wheels/tires. Something about the VHO/V.MAX stock wheels.....
  17. DL3 Mirrors W/O puddle lamps = 15124828 & 15124827
  18. Do anything you can to coast the would be punk time. Pull those fuses, set your parking brake too, etc. Someone on here (years back) added a hydraulic brake line lock as part of his "anti-theft" regiment....
  19. These guys are right on track with the pinion angle needing to be addresses. Which brand of drop shock did you go back with???
  20. GM over the counter parts have a 12 month or 12K mile warranty, you shouldn't have had to buy anything that 2nd time around. You, of course, need to keep track of your receipt & write the install mileage down.
  21. For $12 bucks throw a new fuel filter on your truck too...... It should be getting replaced every year or 12k anyways.
