  1. I had the same thing happen to my truck. Dont waste the money on a new EVAP canister or vent valve. All you need to do is get under the truck and remove the plastic tube that connects to the vent valve. Remove the vent valve and use compressed air to blow the valve out. You might have to sit there for a a few seconds, you will hear the valve get unstuck. Replace the tube and valve and your done I never had the issue again. the gas cap wasnt at fault either.

The valve is right on the side of the fuel tank, you will see a big black box that the vent tube connects to.

Hey I'm going though this issue right now and can't find the vent valve

I don't see nothing next to my gas tank by any chance do you have a pic or video of where its at? I have a 2003 SSS

PM me the pic if possible

  2. Post the vid of the 100mph run with the washer/dryer in the back haha

Lmao I hit 122 before I hit traffic in the freeway lol I should have recorded that lol

Good choice on quality parts! Forget the 4l65e. You'll regret dropping money into it when you end up still having to swap in a 80e lol.

That's what I keep thinking about

That after I put all that money I'm still going to upgrade

  3. So I finally got some mods on my truck a few months ago I got a volant cai and I wanted something else so last month I got my ARH from frank and they are awesome I love the gain I also got a them installed by revolution raceworks and a new era tune and I love the way the truck runs! Also added some Taylor409 wires and some NGK spark plugs

    Next up is a cam

And I'm still debating between adding some extra things to my 4L65 or going with a 4L80

  4. My SS is awd from time to time I'll carry stuff in it like a refrigerator and once in a blue moon a pallet of pavers of something. Well I have only done 1 pallet of pavers. About %90 of the time I don't carry nothing in the truck but if I ever do I want some good shocks. I Also want something that rides smooth
