I have a DC Power Engineering 300 SPX alternator. 300 amps at about a cruising speed. I don't have electric fans but its on my list of things to do. I also only have a small system put usually have all 3 power ports in use and one running an inverter. It works pretty good and looks great Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
do you have any pics?
sounds nice!

Heard bad things about iraggi and another company called excessive amperage. I would go dc power, mechman, mike singer. With a system like that you should deff look into atleast a second battery if not 3 total. You shouldn't see any performance loss in horsepower numbers if that's what you mean. HO alternator is the same just with better internals to give you more output. If any loss, its very minimal. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
im more scared that the system will suck all the power and something will happens to the fans like a short or something.
i drive from vegas to LA a lot and the last thing i need is my truck overheating on my way there.
thats y im also thinking if i should put the electric fans on, nothing is wrong with the fans from my 03 i would just prefer the electric ones

Dam $75 for shipping
Where is it at the moon? Lol
-
Its a pain in the asssssss thats why. And 75$ shipped really? Its worth more than 75$ to me to let it rot in my garage., its gonna cost me 75$ to ship it, so you want me to send you this box out of the kindness of my heart? Im not kind, Ill do 150$ + shipping but thats it and thats for the VOLANT. GL finding one used with less than 500 miles for that price.
Wait are you the one that was selling on Facebook $150 for both? Or did u buy it off him and your trying to make a dollar off it? Lol
Unless you can prove it was only used 500 miles you should not even put that
Just saying
-
The go for $230-$250 new
-
Its not the powercore, its the other volant filter. No I dont have a model number, it has less than 500 miles on it. Seriously this is a steal these things are 300$+ new. Its a volant CAI black top withthe blue volant logo, looks very clean, has the regular filter not the powercore.
TBS I can let go for 25$ + shipping. Or its going in the trash
I can give you $100 for the air intake if you want
Can you txt me some pics? PM me
-
What kind of filter do you have on the volant cai?
You got a model number?
-
PM me next time you are selling them how much are they?
-
What about the wiring harness? I would like to find GM harness for mine but no one around my area has the fans or harnesses, or they are wanting the same price as aftermarket fan assy.
Nelsonperformance.com has the harness for the fans since everything in Nevada is over priced I'm ether thinking eBay or going to Los Angeles and getting them there
-
Is there a difference between the electric LS1 fans from a camaro/firebird and the electric fans from an 06-07 Silverado Ss???
I have a 2003 SSS I got the harness for my truck for the LS1 fans from a camaro/fire bird
So my questions is do they fit in my truck without modifying the space and what is the difference on the 2 fans I named?
-

-
is this the one i need to put the E-fans on my 03 sss??
-
I have been working so I have not had time to look for a short
I'm going to do it on my day off Sunday and if I cant find anything im going to put a bigger fuse
I'll let you know what Happens
-
Don't quote me on this and I know it is a problem that surfaced recently. A tip is to put a 5 amp bigger fuse in but no bigger and see if that also pops.
Sent using Tapatalk 2
one of the sides is fine thou should i change them both or just the one that keeps popping?
thnx ill see if it works
i dont really care about the LED box or light cuz i get the set for $39 lol
-
Yes what size of fuse is it? Also do you have HIDs or regualar bulbs?
its a 10
and yea i have HIDs
i have had the HIDs for about a year and it started to do it last month.
at first i thought it was the hid box so i got a new set of HID and it still does the same thing
-
i know this can be a lot of different things so i want to see a few things before i take it in to get it fixed.
every time my low beams go on the fuse for the driver side pops and the driver side low beam wont turn on because of that. there is power going to the bulb i used the tester to see.
if you guys have had this problem let me know what it was and how you fixed it.
thank you
