I would defiantly sell that privately. A dealer is defiantly going by the miles, while a private buyer might not care as much. You might not be able to get as much as you owe though, but you will get more than with dealer price. I thought you were going to say you had a Reliant Robin

The price is high for miles, IMO. I got mine from a dealer also for 19k OTD, but it had 32,xxx miles on it with a 100,000 mile warranty. We all know a dealer is going to charge more than a private seller so I would keep looking if I was you.There is always going to be that one guy that says he got his for 10k with 20,xxx miles on it, but he probably killed a relative to get it for that price.

I wouldn't mine having one with a side view.

What heads,size cam, and " anything else to make it fast" did you have? You might want to start with bolt ons, and tranny upgrade before you boost. How "fast" do you want your truck, that would give us an idea of what to recommend. Sam is selling his full Maggie setup for $4,000 right now. You would need to get a tune, but you need a tune regardless what you do if you want it faster. Of course the bike is going to feel faster, probably weighs 4,000 pounds less. My GSXR feels like a fighter jet compared to my SS.

Try a tune up first. With just a Volant, I hit 18 mpg. Then again if I take off like a bat out of hell, I'd probably get 12 too.
