I did not tell them to weld it. I told them it was just a bolt on. I handed them the instructions, that state the same. I did not find out it was welded, until it was done. I went to Meinke muffler, so I thought they would know a little about exhaust. Edit: I can't spell for sh*t

I took it back up there. They DID NOT want to fix it at all. I said "I have a 90 day warranty for the work you did." He then says, "he will just drill a hole in the side of it to help it drain." I told him he was not drilling into my expensive muffler. He said "its better to have it there." I again said "NO. It will void my warranty, it says it right here, next to MAKE SURE THE WEEP HOLE IS ON BOTTOM." After 5-10 minutes he gave in, and said "he would flip it over." Twenty minutes later he comes back,and ask for the instructions. 30 minutes later, he comes back and says," the exhaust only fits together one way." I told him I knew. He then says, "well the way it fits, the weep hole is in the front of the muffler." I said,"OKKKKKKAAAAYYYY." He then says," yeah so you obviously got ripped off, because it is suppose to be in the back." I told him I thought it should be up front, since the truck does sit higher in the back. He then said, "okay, if tha'ts what you want, but they drilled the hole wrong anyways." I'm thinking, you certainly seem "smart" today, but you did install it upside down the first time, so you obviously don't know sh*t..

Will sell to "the right person." I wonder how sad it would make him if I bought it, and turned it into a dirty track car?

How important is it for the drain"weep" hole to be facing down. I had mine installed an just realized they installed the muffler upside down. I gave the instructions to the guys at the shop, and when they were done they said "do you want your paper work back?" I said" the instructions?" He said yeah, whatever that stuff was. So they obviously did not read them at all. Is it no big deal, or something serious?
