haha, I make sure the Glock 17 rides with me were ever I go. Anytime someone honks,or flips me off for driving the speed limit at rush hour,I laugh and think to myself "Buddy you don't want this shit." People drive like maniacs around rush hour. If you don't do at least 90 mph, you can not drive on the interstate even in the slow lane. I had one guy almost hit me in the slow lane, so I slowed down even more to 70 and he lays on the horn. I'm watching him cuss me in the mirror throwing his hands up .He finally goes to pass me, gets beside me and starts pointing at me. I threw my hand up and mouthed WTF. He then swerves his SUV into my lane, running me off the road. I hit part of a blown tire from an semi. I don't want to be the guy shot in traffic because of some crazy idiot. If I'm getting shot at, I want to at least try to get a few rounds off.

The F***ING check engine light has come on in the BMW again. I am loosing count on how many times I have had to bring it into the shop now. I think this is the 8th or 9th time. The first time it makes it a month without having to sit in the shop, I am going to send everyone 1,000 dollars. Don't get your hopes up! At first I thought BMW stood for BITCHES MAKE WAY" I've arrived" Now I think it stands for Bunch Money Wasted The coffee pot has a sign next to it at BMW in LA that says this cost more to maintain than a new BMW. WTF coffee filters are they using?

I know the gas cap says Premium only, but you should defiantly be able to run 87 without pinging.I think it is suppose to give us a little better performance and mpg. I always heard premium doesn't make mpg any better unless the vehicle is designed for Premium. I have not calculated mpg with different octanes, because it has never had regular in my presence. I drive like a granny so I do fairly well. When the BMW was in the shop, my girl was driving the SS to work and would leave with full tank and show up on a quarter tank. I would tell her she didn't have to drive like she was being chased by a rapist.

Welcome! You should look into the Corsa Touring exhaust if you want something a little louder than stock without drone. My SS only drinks premium. I figure it's the least I could do for her. With gas prices steadily rising, my ladies jewelry may go missing.

Yeah , I totally see where you are coming from Paul. I work in Auto-Body collision repair, so I know all about crap jobs. Unfortunately, there are only four audio shops in my area. One doesn't carry Viper. The other is the guys that did my tint, and I will not let work on anything else I own. Empress gave me the quote, and Advanced Audio is an hour drive away so I have to find time to ride over there. Only reason I asked about Best Buy is for the warranty. Empress didn't mention a warranty when I spoke with them. I might consider traveling to Louisiana to get an install, but still possible I will get a guy just trying to push the cars out the door. If anyone knows anyone in the LA,MS, or lower AL area, that takes pride in their work LMK. Thanks fellas

Thanks man, but the extra 14-20 bucks for the glass sensor isn't a problem. Is every Harley going to set off my alarm though? Will I be running out in my drive way, gun drawn at every guy with some subs? If I change the sensitivity, would It still go off from fairly loud noises,and glass breaking? I'm just a little paranoid considering they have my address and keys now. I'm waiting for Chevrolet to call me back about changing the locks and reprogramming the key. Pisses me off I can't get one installed on the BMW. Edit- I seen were Best Buy has 5901 with install for $500. Would the Geek squad be trust worthy? I found out today just because you work at a repitible sound shop doesn't mean your worth a damn. Had the BMW window tinted and he brought it out with HUGE bubbles in it. I went back in and said are the bubbles free of charge? He came back out and pushed them out with his thumb and said come back in three days if it comes back. Unfortunately, I had places to be so I couldn't wait around. I had already waited 3 hours, to get one window tinted.

He quoted me 660 for just the 5901 with remote start. He didn't mention the glass or tilt sensor. Hopefully, when I call them Monday they will install a kit not bought through them. Probably not though.

The guys I want to install are a Viper dealer, but we all know how one bad apple can spoil the bunch.

I went to price viper alarms today for both vehicles. First off, the guy said no alarms can be installed on the 2011 BMWs. He said BMW changed the wiring in the new ones and so far no alarms will work on it. So it looks like I'm stuck with the shitty BMW alarm that will only go off 2 hours after a break in. Anyways, They said $660 for a 5901 bought and installed there for the SS. I know I can get it for $215 off Amazon. My question is, would the shock sensor be enough during a window break or should I get the glass sensor also?

Man I go through at least 10 fake bike ads a day it seems like through SearchTempest.. I have heard everything from my son died in Afghanistan, husband left me, dad died ETC ETC ETC.
