No you can't Im speaking from experience on my 4.8. I snapped it off the threads. Its directly screwed into the block so The sensor will break off in it.

Break it off and get a took to get out a stuck screw. Mine was similar. Only mine snapped off. Took a drill with a screw extractor attached and got it out

I am worried about the offset and rubbing with the tires I want. I want the BFG G-force T/A in a 305/40R22. Where I live I have no snow and it doesn't rain much. To answer your original question about fitment, the 07+ and I believe TBSS intakes require square port heads
