  1. drop blocks only drop if you have a flip kit (which put the rear end on top of the leaf springs instead of under) then adding drop blocks raises the rear end higher meaning more low, and thanks..its 5/9.5 right now Thanks man I appreciate it..I would do cladding if I ever found a good enough deal..it has definitely come a long way with more to come, planning on shaving the tailgate this weekend
  2. All he would do is bring it down to 5/7, flip kit with 1" drop shackle in the rear and 2" spindles with decranked 2500 keys or 2" spindles with 3" lcas in the front..yea bagging would be nice but its also not for everyone as it is very pricey especially when its done by a company such as ekstensive and they are building it to keep awd..my truck is 4wd and is lowered 5/9.5 and I have no problem with rubbing or any other issues for that matter
  3. 5/7 can easily be done on 24s, you will probably have to go with a smaller tire though..
  4. What kind of wheels are you running? The only way you would need camber for your wheels to clear is if you were running a really low offset wheel..there are static trucks that are lowered 7" in the front with no camber..
  5. They aren't too bad on the nnbs if you match the rear fender to the front..otherwise, no thanks
  6. I started to say 24s but the more I.looked the smaller they looked haha
  7. Looks much better man, the sss is tits..3/5 on 22" boss 330s?
  8. Badass welds man, definitely have some skill there
  9. I refuse to paint my lower valance white lol I hate it..gonna paint both chrome bumpers white eventually Like this^^
  10. Yea what's funny is how they really like it until you tell them its 4wd then all of the sudden they don't like it anymore haha
  11. Thanks man, I get a LOT of haters because its 4wd but I don't care lol I didn't build it for anybody else
  12. Will update as more mods are done

  14. Esky handles came in today And about 20 minutes later Time for some more low Drop blocks in, 30 psi in helpers Bought some djm uppers since my camber was so bad Dat $6 k&n
  15. Cleared headlights in New spikes Helpers in Major lift at 90psi
  16. Added colormatched handles Then did black bowtie and mesh Put the 22s back on rubbing like crazy And as it sits now, traded my 22s for some ltz 20s and debadged them Somewhere in there I put a flowmaster and an ebay Cai on New belltech street performance shocks
  17. Figured I would bring my build thread over here... Well I bought the truck August of 2011 after my obs decided to give in on me. -2003 extended cab short bed lt 4x4 z71 -5.3 v8 -all power leather interior The day I bought it In the next few days I debadged it and removed the z71 Then decided to plasti dip my center grill bar, got some painted mirror caps and threw in some tinted tails I had Kept it like this for a little while and decided I wanted to lower it, so i started getting parts together. the plan was to do decranked keys up front with shackles and hangers out back. While I was getting my parts together I decided to get some rims so i bought a set of 22s By this time I had my shackles and hangers, so one day i decided to go ahead and pull the z71 blocks and out the shackles on Then i found a deal on Craigslist for a fiberglass gaylords bed cover for $250, I talked to the guy and offered him $150 and he took it! So i picked it up that night I began debating on whether I wanted to do the hangers or go lower, so i just decided to take the dive and ordered mcgaughys flip and notches and some mcgaughys 17+ 2" spindles Me and my dad tore the rear end down one day and I got to work cutting and drilling, wanting to finish it that day And we did (well almost) The next day we put the bed back on and i put in some 2500 keys and decranked and threw on some factory 17s I picked up for $200 On that following Sunday we did the spindles and a little more colormatching
