  1. As long as he is buying the parts and not stealing one of our trucks to get the parts I don't care what he builds but he better post pictures so we can watch the build.
  2. That's why I asked to see a picture of one done because it's a five spoke design and our trucks are 6lug I don't think I remember anyone saying it was gonna change to a 6 spoke design I was guessing it would possibly use a center cap cover like our stock Silverado SS rims to hide the lug nuts but I know nothing I think 6 lugs on a 5 spoke rim would look ugly if you could see the lug nuts
  3. I had to drill it I believe it was 10-1/4" back off the bump stop bracket just before that round crossmember any farther back and that crossmember will prevent you from bolting it on you wanna be close but not so close that you can't bolt it on I only measured the second one to match the first one that I just held up where it would fit and drop the swaybar and freehand drilled it only took about a half an hour maybe 45 mins it was an easy install
  4. had to drill this out a small amount to fit the mount bolt as shown above all bolted up also had to get different bushings that fit the 3"exhaust clamp stock ones were to small I used a set of energy suspension 1-1/4 universal ones altogether I'm in to the whole thing for about $150.00
  5. Driver side mirror still available
  6. I think it looks ok but at the same time I think it also looks like it has a Hugh forehead.
  7. You say here it has 52,000 miles your add says 81,000 miles might wanna fix that and list the actual mileage
  8. as far as I'm concerned the EPA can get back in there Prius and mind there own damn business this isn't freedom
  9. I've never done a how to but it looks pretty easy I'll post some pictures and they should explain the how to I'll be learning as I go. I'm guessing that the only people that might have a problem fitting these could be guys with exhaust running out past your rearend mine dumps out before my passenger rear tire so I don't have anything back there and my transmission cooler replaced my spare tire so that also isn't gonna be an issue for me like it would for others that are still storing there spare tire under the bed I'll know more info after attacking it just throwing that out there before guys go crazy ordering parts and climbing under there and get a surprise.
  10. Took me 10mins to find a sway bar at a local salvage yard for $35 bucks me taking it out and cost $28 for a pro comp shock mount part number 690001 from autoplicity get a pair of 3" exhaust clamps locally and find some time in this warm weather we are having might have this in by next weekend for a cheap price total see how it works out.
  11. I believe the transmission crossmember where the transmission mounts for the 4l80 would be cut out and moved back and welded back together the 4l60 would look normal straight across you would be able to notice that pretty quickly.
  12. I'd buy the supercharged one and have someone look at the tune and see where everything is at might benefit from making sure your fuel system is up to par for the long haul.
  13. I got a yank PT3200 converter and it's the balls lots of guys here love there circle D if I was gonna get another one I'd buy one of those 2 just my opinion
  14. I haven't seen the chassis ad yet but I like the sound of the LSX 2wd truck build
  15. Fluid swap is normal maintenance but if it's acting up then I wouldn't wait til it breaks I'd just swap it out I had 172000 miles on mine and just swapped it out a month ago I drive it pretty hard and change the fluids a lot maybe be bought me some miles but the new unit was so much tighter and was a breeze to swap out cost around $800-$900 after I got my core money back.
  16. I'm surprised in Maine you would swap to 2wd I'm in mass and with the snow we have had I'd be S.O.L without the AWD I'm guessing you don't drive this truck in the winter. I've got the same transmission and it's a really good unit at the price your asking for both they shouldn't last long glws
  17. I could use a nice rear driveshaft for a nice price ANYBODY
  18. You can add pictures in your gallery for some reason that works and posting pictures doesn't people interested can at least go there and see them
