  1. Ferny text me at 6614808315. I'm sure we can work something out.
  2. I'm headed to San Diego for another year of training before I make my way back to the fleet. After school I will go to a ship and run the Sonar division. Hopefully back down in Jacksonville. I've grown quite accustomed to the east coast and their lifestyle.. not to mention their lack of requirements when it comes to firearms and vehicle emissions LOL.... MAYBE... I can scoop one of these hoods on my way back west
  3. Yeah I was just thinking the same. I really like the one he already makes. I'm just in a tight spot right now getting ready to transfer to my next duty station here soon.
  4. I hope this works out. Anxiously waiting to here back with your report
  5. We should meet up. I'm in goose creek. I work with a guy with a red ss as well, maybe grab lunch one day?
  6. true, having a bumper definitely saved my tailgate and bed... I still haven't decided which route I want to go... decisions decisions...
  7. I think I'm just going to order a new (oem) bumper and have it sprayed by a buddy out here and pocket a little bit of change outta this fiasco. Or is it time to go roll pan??
  8. Unpainted oem bumpers can be had for right at 300 shipped but I thought I'd toss it out here incase anybody had a red one in good shape they no longer need.
  9. so this morning I was rear ended and my bumper is toast. any of you guys with rollpans want to sell your bumper and brackets?
  10. check out the fusor line of products. I think fusor 147 is what I used on my intake manifold that I shaved down. supposedly that shit will bond anything to anything
  11. I just read that whole thread and all I have to say is wow... Jenna and Justin, gl getting your equipment back from that um...guy.... and I'll be contacting you soon to get an autocal to compliment some goodies I've been stock piling!
  12. Justin tuned my truck a while ago at a live event in NC. He definitely is a good guy and knows how to get the most out of these GM beasts. I agree with D1; The fact that this dude is always swamped with work is testament to his skill, even though it sucks for us impatient bastards...
  13. Saw this thread and was inspired so I picked up a set of front headrests off of the bay for 60 shipped. They'll be headed your way in a couple of days Raptor!
  14. Charleston here bro. Speaking of, we still need to organize a cruise day or something GI
  15. Anybody in or near Decatur wanna make some quick cash picking something up and shipping it to me? I'll pay very generously for your time. (nothing illegal I swear, just truck parts LOL) Let me know Thanks Erick 6614808315
  16. so bad news... we all rallied in town (about 20 of us) and headed up to the track only to find they decided not to open! The side gate was open though so we went in and got a couple runs down the track before the owner showed up and kicked us all out. I lined up against my buddies S/C Cobalt SS and completely destroyed him LOL. Big red was running strong too, I wish they were actually open so I would know what all my times were... We're planning to try again this Sunday weather permitting.
  17. So some friends and I are going to have a little fun at the track tonight. First time to an actual strip since ive had the truck and first time ever racing 1/8th mile... Elevation at the track is 271 ft and temps should be on the low 50s when we are running. I'll post up slips tomorrow. Mods are intake, LTs full exhaust and BBP live tune. Should be fun. Anybody wanna guess what times the ol girl will produce?
  18. I bought a set of heads today that were supposed to be 243s but ended up being 706s. I only paid 100 bucks for them though so that's not too bad I guess. They were pulled off a running 03 tahoe. No warpage or anything like that...If I have larger intake valves put in and port them, would it be worth it to use them? or ditch these guys and find a set of 243s? Plan on doing a cam swap the same time I do the heads, probably something along the lines of the 228... Any advice or experience welcome. thanks
  19. How quickly do you need to get rid of this? I am super interested, the problem is with my work schedule I wouldn't be able to make it up there for a couple weeks...also, if we were able to work something out I'd have to pull my trans down here and haul it up in a friend's truck to swap them out just because I don't think I can get a retune from Justin before hand...
  20. did some more digging while i sit here at work this morning... apparently this intake manfiold is a PP (Performance Products) Typhoon manifold. Going through some old threads on a few different forums revealed the general consensus is they are a waste of money... Something about seating issues and heat soak, although all my findings are conflicting with each other. Nobody on here has ever used one? For the right price I'd be willing to try it out and see what happens...
  21. Anybody know anything about the intake manifold in this CL ad? Tried searching around a bit and I'm not really finding anything useful on the old interwebz. http://charleston.craigslist.org/pts/4721820687.html
  22. Dude how much did you pay for that bypass thing? I am pretty sure you could have done the relay mod to bypass the parking brake. I don't think there is a difference between our head units as far as that is concerned and those only cost like 3 bucks at any AutoZone
  23. Pull out the head unit and take a picture of all the wiring on the back. Super easy to get it out. Just 3 7mm bolts. Then we'll be able to help you better. My guess is the right bus adapter thing wasn't used, if one was used at all...
