I was out yesterday during this heat wave, and I had no AC. SO I wait till I get to the pool and park the truck, start looking and think-wow there is no belt spinnging my ac compressor get under her and see the belt hanging slip it back on...ac back anyone else have this happen???? I might replace the belts for better ones oh well, I love my truck!

According to Zaino Bros: yes, a stout mix of original Dawn dishwashing detergent will strip everything right down to the clearcoat, as Dawn is very alkaline (it is as alkaline as vineagar is acidic). This is why Zaino makes its own car wash soap, it is ph-balanced and will not affect these acrylics so that you can just keep adding another touch-up layer every 2nd or 3rd wash. Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> so does that mean my meguires car wash soap will be safe on the zanio finish between coats of Z-whatever?????? I dont like the zanio car wash, it smells like crap

If anything the 4l70 is not stronger it will just spin better, allowing higher RPM's . if you search at all data there is some info about this trans and the differences.

ok here is the story... I was driving home from work, going to stop at the store before I head home. So I see a dodge ram with some off those glue on hood scoops so I want to go and mess with him. I turn the corner and get on it a bit, I dont catch up to him after coming to a complete stop. So in my rear view is a traffice enforcement! Traffic enforcement are those guys who ride around in slow ass all black crown vic's with no roof mount lights or anything, just pulling people over and being know for not being too nice. They are the one that wear the knee high leather boots, this guy even had on a black leather bow-tie So he approaches the truck and I have my wepon tucked under my thigh, so the second thing I hand him is my CCW card, the first being my licnese. He tosses my CCW car back in to the car and says " I dont even want to see that..." and kind of throws in back into the car So after I showed him that I then went into the glove box to get my other info, I made sure not to dig in anything, so as the law says, 'offciers can feel more at rest' when doing traffic stops. He asked before he went to his car if I knew why he stoped me and I told him, I might have been on it a little harded than I should have. He then wrote my ticket. But was it a speeding ticket! no it was carless driving!! So this morning I went to see the posted limit and it was 30, now my question is was I doing more than 50 or 20 over I feel like the guy did not know the posted limit so he wrote up the next best thing a $200 ticket that he does not have to determine my speed or the fact he might not have known the limit to worte the ticket so it would hold up if I contest it. any LE guys who might take a crack at this??? or keys when I goto court?? danm-no mods, pay the ticket

wax is old get some new stuff, zaino or an acrylic sealer, waxes are old tech. yea they sell wash wax that is one product but I am happy when I was my zaniod truck that when I was the water beads up still and with a simple spray of z-6 you are back to a nice shine and then you could add some more layers of Z-2... read some of the threads about zanio or goto the detailers fourm and you will read about the shift away from older carnubia waxes

I thought that the bigger unit was good to 600hp, I know it is maxed out but hey get me 400hp to the wheels and I would be happy and if they work out the liquid to air IC then I think that we will see these type of superchargers from the factory on some GM cars/trucks, it might be smaller displacement but these are super quiet and (with the transmission on the supercharger) might help get the power output while keeping some of the MPG that the CAFE is going to require...I know I am guessing but with gas prices like they are performance cars are going to change!!! The camaro is the perfect example, they cant build it like a vette and sell it cheaper. I know I am rambling now... I cant wait to go back to W2W! here is the link to the Performancetrucks thread

quality kit but need some work. I have heard that it needs some insulation b/c of the underhood heat. There is one guy with it on a SSS and he has not posted any #'s. Installation will go easy b/c of how quality the kit is, your tuner will be able to get more power than the supplyied tune. Goto perfrtrucks.net and there is some relativly new info there. you might look into the rotrex turbo from W2W it might be just as expensive.
